7da3f561cb drm/xe: Move HW GGTT definitions to dedicated file
It's better to keep all hardware GGTT definitions separated from
the driver code. It also helps to avoid duplicated definitions.

42b266be32 drm/xe: Mark VF accessible interrupt registers
Interrupt registers 1900xx are VF accessible but only until version
12.50 as on newer platforms VFs are using memory-based interrupts.

To avoid complexity, we mark those registers with XE_REG_OPTION_VF
unconditionally, as IRQ handling on newer VFs is different anyway.

cc244ce531 drm/xe/gsc: Handle GSCCS ER interrupt
Starting on Xe2, the GSCCS engine reset is a 2-step process. When the
driver or the GuC hits the GDRST register, the CS is immediately reset
and a success is reported, but the GSC shim continues its reset in the
background. While the shim reset is ongoing, the CS is able to accept
new context submission, but any commands that require the shim will
be stalled until the reset is completed. This means that we can keep
submitting to the GSCCS as long as we make sure that the preemption
timeout is big enough to cover any delay introduced by the reset; since
the GSC preempt timeout is not tunable at runtime, we only need to check
that the value set in kconfig is big enough (and increase it if it
isn't).
When the shim reset completes, a specific CS interrupt is triggered,
in response to which we need to check the GSCI_TIMER_STATUS register
to see if the reset was successful or not.
Note that the GSCI_TIMER_STATUS register is not power save/restored,
so it gets reset on MC6 entry. However, a reset failure stops MC6,
so in that scenario we're always guaranteed to find the correct value.

Since we can't check the register within interrupt context, the
existing GSC worker has been updated to handle it.
The expected action to take on ER failure is to trigger a driver FLR,
but we still don't support that, so for now we just print an error. A
comment has been added to the code to keep track of the FLR requirement.

eb08104f90 drm/xe/gsc: add support for GSC proxy interrupt
The GSC notifies us of a proxy request via the HECI2 interrupt. The
interrupt must be enabled both in the HECI layer and in our usual gt irq
programming; for the latter, the interrupt is enabled via the same enable
register as the GSC CS, but it does have its own mask register. When the
interrupt is received, we also need to de-assert it in both layers.

The handling of the proxy request is deferred to the same worker that we
use for GSC load. New flags have been added to distinguish between the
init case and the proxy interrupt.

ddb5bade29 drm/xe/xe2: synchronise CS_CHICKEN1 with WMTP support
Recommendation is to read FUSE4 register to check if WMTP has been
enabled/disabled by HW. If enabled we don't need to do anything special,
however if disabled recommendation is to also disable the WMTP mode in
the FF_SLICE_CS_CHICKEN2 register, falling back to thread-group and
mid-batch preemption only. However on Linux, the per-context CS_CHICKEN1
is how userspace controls pre-emption, so instead use the default lrc to
disable WMTP using CS_CHICKEN1, if disabled by HW. Userspace is still
free to set CS_CHICKEN1 to whatever they want later.

Graphics version 20.04, used in Lunar Lake, needs WA 16020183090 for
steppings A*. Set ENABLE_SEMAPHORE_POLL_BIT in INSTPM(RENDER_RING_BASE)
and whitelist CSBE_DEBUG_STATUS for userspace to be able to use it
and complement the workaround.

54020e2b40 drm/xe: Define registers used by memory based irq processing
The RING_INT_SRC_RPT_PTR register points to a cacheline in memory
to which an engine must report as source of interrupt prior to
generating an interrupt to the host.

The RING_INT_STATUS_RPT_PTR register points to the first cacheline
of the Interrupt Status Report (ISR) page (4KB) in graphics memory
to which all engines report their interrupt status.

The RING_IMR register has the interrupt enables and interrupt masks
for an engine.

We will refer to these registers shortly.

5ea7fe65fb drm/xe: Move some per-engine register definitions to the engine header
Although we only work with the RCS instances today, the
FF_SLICE_CS_CHICKEN1[1,2] CS_DEBUG_MODE1, CS_CHICKEN1, and
FF_THREAD_MODE registers all have instances on both the RCS and CCS
engines.  Convert these to parameterized macros and move them to the
engine register header.

7a18d36f88 drm/xe: Remove duplicate RING_MAX_NONPRIV_SLOTS definition
The engine register header wound up with two definitions for
RING_MAX_NONPRIV_SLOTS, likely due to a rebase mistake.  Keep the
definition that's in an appropriate place (i.e., with the
FORCE_TO_NONPRIV register definition) and remove the other.

b1d2040582 drm/xe/pf: Introduce Local Memory Translation Table
The Local Memory Translation Table (LMTT) provides additional
abstraction for Virtual Functions (VF) accessing device VRAM.

This code is based on prior work of Michal Winiarski.

In this patch we focus only on LMTT initialization. Remaining LMTT
functions will be used once we add a VF provisioning to the PF.

0d97ecce16 drm/xe: Enable Fixed CCS mode setting
Disable dynamic HW load balancing of compute resource assignment
to engines and instead enabled fixed mode of mapping compute
resources to engines on all platforms with more than one compute
engine.

By default enable only one CCS engine with all compute slices
assigned to it. This is the desired configuration for common
workloads.

PVC platform supports only the fixed CCS mode (workaround 16016805146).

b279b53015 drm/xe/xe2: Add workaround 18032095049 and 16021639441
This workaround applies to graphics 20.04 on all engines.

Workaround has three parts :
1. Pipe flush before MI_ATOMIC - This part isn't relevant to Xe
   (at least not right now) since we don't use MI_ATOMIC anywhere
   in the kernel mode driver.
2. Memory-based interrupt masking - Memory-based interrupt processing
   isn't supported on physical functions, only virtual functions,
   according to bspec 60352. So this is probably only relevant once
   SRIOV support lands in the driver.
3. Disabling CSB/timestamp updates to the ghwsp and pphwsp - Workaround
   is added by this change.

The CSB reports to gHWSP and ppHWSP have been discussed as part
of a different topic on some internal threads and we've confirmed
that neither the KMD nor the GuC firmware use those for anything,
so disabling them is always "safe" and should have no functional
or performance impact on system operation.  The same is true for
the timestamp updates in the ppHWSP as well.  Given that, it might
make sense to just combine these two workarounds into a single
record (and single patch) and apply it on all steppings. Disabling
the reports for RCS on higher steppings doesn't have any kind of
negative impact and will simplify the overall situation.

7ce5716e13 drm/xe/huc: Prepare for 2-step HuC authentication
Starting on MTL, the HuC is authenticated twice, once via GuC (same as
with older integrated platforms) and once via GSC; the first
authentication allows the HuC to be used for clear-media workloads,
while the second one unlocks support for protected content.
Ahead of adding the authentication flow via GSC, this patch adds support
for differentiating the 2 auth steps and checking if they're complete.

dd0e89e5ed drm/xe/gsc: GSC FW load
The GSC FW must be copied in a 4MB stolen memory allocation, whose GGTT
address is then passed as a parameter to a dedicated load instruction
submitted via the GSC engine.

Since the GSC load is relatively slow (up to 250ms), we perform it
asynchronously via a worker. This requires us to make sure that the
worker has stopped before suspending/unloading.

Note that we can't yet use xe_migrate_copy for the copy because it
doesn't work with stolen memory right now, so we do a memcpy from the
CPU side instead.

As for display, the intent is to share the display code with the i915
driver so that there is maximum reuse there.

We do this by recompiling i915/display code twice.
Now that i915 has been adapted to support the Xe build, we can add

43efd3ba9f drm/xe: Raise GT frequency before GuC/HuC load
Starting GT freq is usually RPn. Raising freq to RP0 will
help speed up GuC load times. As an example, this data was
collected on DG2-

GuC Load time @RPn ~ 41 ms
GuC Load time @RP0 ~ 11 ms

v2: Raise GT freq before hwconfig init. This will speed up
both HuC and GuC loads. Address review comments (Rodrigo).
Also add a small usleep after requesting frequency which gives
pcode some time to react.

Driver initiated function-reset (FLR) is the highest level of reset
that we can trigger from within the driver. In contrast to PCI FLR it
doesn't require re-enumeration of PCI BAR. It can be useful in case
GT fails to reset. It is also the only way to trigger GSC reset from
the driver and can be used in future addition of GSC support.

f6c39feed0 drm/xe: Add performance tuning settings for MTL and Xe2
Add L3SQCREG5 as part of HW recommended settings. The recommended value
in Bspec is 00e0007f. For Xe2-LPG, bits 23:21 don't exist anymore, but
it's confirmed with HW engineers that setting them doesn't do anything.
They still exist on the media GT, Xe2-LPM, but they are already they are
already set as per HW default value. So for Xe2 platform, the only bits
that need to be set are 9:0 since HW's default is 0x1ff and the
recommended value is 0x7f.

Unlike most registers, which have the same relative offset on both
the primary and media GT, this register has a different base offset
on the media GT.

On MTL the register only exists for the primary (graphics) GT, so
there's no need to program it on the media gt. Also, it's part of the
RCS engine's context, so it needs to be added as a LRC workaround.

0134f130e7 drm/xe: Extract MI_* instructions to their own header
Extracting the common MI_* instructions that can be used with any engine
to their own header will make it easier as we add additional engine
instructions in upcoming patches.

Also, since the majority of GPU instructions (both MI and non-MI) have
a "length" field in bits 7:0 of the instruction header, a common define
is added for that.  Instruction-specific length fields are still defined
for special case instructions that have larger/smaller length fields.

14a1e6a4a4 drm/xe: Clarify number of dwords/qwords stored by MI_STORE_DATA_IMM
MI_STORE_DATA_IMM can store either dword values or qword values, and can
store more than one value if the instruction's length field is large
enough.  Create explicit defines to specify the number of dwords/qwords
to be stored, which will set the instruction length correctly and, if
necessary, turn on the 'store qword' bit.

While we're here, also replace an open-coded version of
MI_STORE_DATA_IMM with the common macros.

de54bb81d9 drm/xe: Make MI_FLUSH_DW immediate size more explicit
Despite its name, MI_FLUSH_DW instruction can write an immediate value
of either dword size or qword size, depending on the 'length' field of
the instruction.  Since "length" excludes the first two dwords of the
instruction, a value of 2 in the length field implies a dword write and
a value of 3 implies a qword write.  Even in cases where the flush
instruction's post-sync operation is set to "no write" we're still
expected to size the overall instruction as if we were doing a dword or
qword write (i.e., a length of 1 shouldn't be used on modern platforms).

Rather than baking a size of "1" into the #define and then adding
another unexplained "+ 1" at all the spots where the definition gets
used, lets just create MI_FLUSH_IMM_DW and MI_FLUSH_IMM_QW definitions
that should be OR'd into the instruction header to make it more explicit
what behavior we're requesting.

399a13323f drm/xe: add 28-bit address support in struct xe_reg
Xe driver currently supports 22-bit addresses for MMIO access.
Future platforms will have additional MMIO extension with
larger address spaces, and to access them, the driver will
have to support wider address representation.
Please note that while the XE_REG macro is used for MMIO access,
XE_REG_EXT macro will be used for MMIO-extension access.

Xe2 changes or adds bits for mocs in a few BLT instructions:
XY_CTRL_SURF_COPY_BLT, XY_FAST_COLOR_BLT, XY_FAST_COPY_BLT, and MEM_SET.
Modify the code to deal with the new location. Unlike Xe1, the MOCS
field in those instructions is only the MOCS index and not the
Structure_MEMORY_OBJECT_CONTROL_STATE anymore. The pxp bit is now
explicitly documented separately.

4bdd8c2ed9 drm/xe/xe2: Set tile y type in XY_FAST_COPY_BLT to Tile4
Set bits 30 and 31 of XY_FAST_COPY_BLT's dword1 for XeHP and above.

Destination or source being Y-Major is selected on dword0 and there's
nothing to set on dword1. According to the bspec for Xe2,
"Behavior is undefined when programmed the value 0". Also for XeHP,
the only value allowed in those bits is 0b11, not being possible to
select "Legacy Tile-Y" anymore, only the newer Tile4.

So, unconditionally set those bits for graphics IP 12.50 and above.

2c0ac321d9 drm/xe: Adjust mocs field mask definitions
Instead of using xe_mocs_index_to_value(), simply define the bitmask
with the shift left applied. This will make it easier to adapt to new
platforms that simply use the index.

This also fixes PVC bug in emit_clear_link_copy() where the MOCS was
getting shifted both by PVC_MS_MOCS_INDEX_MASK definition and by the
xe_moc_index_to_value function.

0d0534750f drm/xe/wa: Apply tile workarounds at probe/resume
Although the vast majority of workarounds the driver needs to implement
are either GT-based or display-based, there are occasionally workarounds
that reside outside those parts of the hardware (i.e., in they target
registers in the sgunit/soc); we can consider these to be "tile"
workarounds since there will be instance of these registers per tile.
The registers in question should only lose their values during a
function-level reset, so they only need to be applied during probe and
resume; the registers will not be affected by GT/engine resets.

Tile workarounds are rare (there's only one, 22010954014, that's
relevant to Xe at the moment) so it's probably not worth updating the
xe_rtp design to handle tile-level workarounds yet, although we may want
to consider that in the future if/when more of these show up on future
platforms.

0993b22f93 drm/xe/xe2: Program GuC's MOCS on Xe2 and beyond
As with PVC, Xe2 platforms require that the index of an uncached MOCS
entry be programmed into the GUC_SHIM_CONTROL register.  This will
likely be needed on future platforms as well.

Xe2 also extends the size of the MOCS index register field from two bits
to four bits.  Since these extra bits were unused on PVC, it should be
safe to just increase the size of the mask.

5c82000f54 drm/xe/xe2: Add MCR register steering for primary GT
Xe2 uses the same steering control register and steering semaphore
register as MTL.  As with recent platforms, group/instance 0,0 is
sufficient to target a non-terminated instance for most classes of MCR
registers; the only types of ranges that need to consider platform
fusing to find a non-terminated instance are SLICE/DSS ranges and a new
SQIDI_PSMI type of range.

Note that the range of valid bits in XE2_NODE_ENABLE_MASK may be reduced
for some Xe2 SKUs.  However the lowest bits are always valid and only
the lowest instance is obtained via __ffs(), so there's no need to
complicate the masking with extra platform/subplatform checks.

Also note that Wa_14017387313 suggests skipping MCR lock acquisition
around GAM and GAMWKR registers to prevent MCR register accesses in an
interrupt handler from deadlocking when the steering semaphore is
already held outside the interrupt context.  At this time Xe never
issues MCR accesses from within an interrupt handler so the workaround
is not currently needed.

07d7ba13d8 drm/xe: enable idle msg and set hysteresis for GSCCS
On MTL (and only on MTL) the GSCCS defaults with idle messaging
disabled. This means that, once awoken, the GSCCS will never signal its
idleness to the GT. To allow the GT to enter the proper low-power state,
we need therefore to turn idle messaging on. As part of this, we also
need to set a proper hysteresis value for the engine.

c7e4a611f3 drm/xe: Add Wa_14015150844 for DG2 and Xe_LPG
The workaround database tells us to set this bit, even though the bspec
indicates the bit doesn't exist on these platforms.  Since this is a
write-only register, we also can't read back its value to verify whether
it's actually working or not.  For now we'll trust that the workaround
database knows what it's talking about; if not, the hardware will just
ignore the attempt to write to a non-existent bit and it shouldn't cause
any problems.

ff063430ca drm/xe/mtl: Add some initial MTL workarounds
This adds a handful of workarounds that apply to production steppings of
MTL:
 - Wa_14018575942
 - Wa_22016670082
 - Wa_14017856879
 - Wa_18019271663

Wa_22016670082 is currently only applied to the primary GT at the
moment, but may need to be extended to the media GT in the future if a
pending update to the workaround database gets finalized.

OOB workarounds will need to be implemented separately in future patches
for Wa_14016712196, Wa_16018063123, and Wa_18013179988.

9f8f93bee3 drm/xe: Emit a render cache flush after each rcs/ccs batch
We need to flush render caches before fence signalling, where we might
release the memory for reuse. We can't rely on userspace doing this,
so flush render caches after the batch, but before user fence- and
dma_fence signalling.

Copy the cache flush from i915, but omit PIPE_CONTROL_FLUSH_L3, since it
should be implied by the other flushes. Also omit
PIPE_CONTROL_TLB_INVALIDATE since there should be no apparent need to
invalidate TLB after batch completion.

85dbfe47d0 drm/xe: Invalidate TLB also on bind if in scratch page mode
For scratch table mode we need to cover the case where a scratch PTE might
have been pre-fetched and cached and used instead of that of the newly
bound vma.
For compute vms, invalidate TLB globally using GuC before signalling
bind complete. For !long-running vms, invalidate TLB at batch start.

Also document how TLB invalidation works.

1fce9a6f69 drm/xe: Don't hardcode GuC's MOCS index in register header
Although PVC is currently the only platform that needs us to program a
GuC register with the index of an uncached MOCS entry, it's likely other
platforms will need this in the future.  Rather than hardcoding PVC's
index into the register header, we should just pull the appropriate
index from gt->mocs.uc_index to future-proof the code.

066d095248 drm/xe: Reformat xe_guc_regs.h
Reformat the GuC register header according to the same rules used by
other register headers:
 - Register definitions are ordered by offset
 - Value of #define's start on column 49
 - Lowercase used for hex values

No functional change.

This header has some things that aren't directly related to register
definitions (e.g., number of doorbells, doorbell info structure, GuC
interrupt vector layout, etc.  These items have been moved to the bottom
of the header.

6ed6ba32db drm/xe: Add stepping support for GMD_ID platforms
For platforms with GMD_ID registers, the IP stepping should be
determined from the 'revid' field of those registers rather than from
the PCI revid.

The hardware teams have indicated that they plan to keep the revid =>
stepping mapping consistent across all GMD_ID platforms, with major
steppings (A0, B0, C0, etc.) having revids that are multiples of 4, and
minor steppings (A1, A2, A3, etc.) taking the intermediate values.  For
now we'll trust that hardware follows through on this plan; if they have
to change direction in the future (e.g., they wind up needing something
like an "A4" that doesn't fit this scheme), we can add a GMD_ID-based
lookup table when the time comes.

98ce59e9ba drm/xe/guc: Handle RCU_MODE as masked from definition
guc_mmio_regset_write() had a flags for the registers to be added to the
GuC's regset list. The only register actually using that was RCU_MODE,
but it was setting the flags to a bogus value. From
struct xe_guc_fwif.h,

	#define GUC_REGSET_MASKED               BIT(0)
	#define GUC_REGSET_MASKED_WITH_VALUE    BIT(2)
	#define GUC_REGSET_RESTORE_ONLY         BIT(3)

Cross checking with i915, the only flag to set in RCU_MODE is
GUC_REGSET_MASKED. That can be done automatically from the register, as
long as the definition is correct.

Add the XE_REG_OPTION_MASKED annotation to RCU_MODE and kill the "flags"
field in guc_mmio_regset_write(): guc_mmio_regset_write_one() can decide
that based on the register being passed.

These should replace the _MMIO() and MCR_REG() from i915, with the goal
of being more extensible, allowing to pass the additional fields for

Since the RTP, reg-save-restore and WA infra are not ready to use the

36e22be498 drm/xe: Introduce xe_reg/xe_reg_mcr
Stop using i915 types for registers. Use our own types. Differently from
i915, this will keep under the register definition the knowledge for the
different types of registers. For now, the "flags"/"options" are mcr and
masked, although only the former is being used.

Additionally MCR registers have their own type. The only place that
should really look inside a xe_mcr_reg_t is that code dealing with the
steering and using other APIs when the register is MCR has been a source
of problem in the past.

Most of the driver is agnostic to the register differences since they
either use the definition from the header or already call the correct
MCR_REG()/_MMIO() macros. By embeding the struct xe_reg inside the
struct it's also possible to guarantee the compiler will break if
using RANDOM_MCR_REG.reg is attempted, since now the u32 is inside the
inner struct.

d9b79ad275 drm/xe: Drop gen afixes from registers
The defines for the registers were brought over from i915 while
bootstrapping the driver. As xe supports TGL and later only, it doesn't
make sense to keep the GEN* prefixes and suffixes in the registers: TGL
is graphics version 12, previously called "GEN12". So drop the prefix
everywhere.

e881b1292f drm/xe: Drop GFX_FLSH_CNTL_GEN6 write during GGTT invalidation
The write of GFX_FLSH_CNTL_GEN6 was inherited from the i915 codebase
where it was used to force a flush of the write-combine buffer in cases
where the GSM/GGTT were mapped as WC.  Since Xe never uses WC mappings
of the GGTT, this register write is unnecessary.  Furthermore, this
register was removed on Xe_HP-based platforms, so this write winds up
clobbering an unrelated register.

5822bba943 drm/xe: Select graphics/media descriptors from GMD_ID
If graphics_desc and media_desc are not specified in a platform's
xe_device_desc, treat this as an indication that the IP version should
be determined from the hardware's GMD_ID register.

Note that leaving media_desc unset for a platform that simply doesn't
have the IP (e.g., PVC) is also okay --- a read of the GMD_ID register
offset will be attempted, but since there's no register at that location
a value of '0' will be returned, effectively disabling media support.

Mapping of version -> IP description is done via a table lookup; this
table will be re-used in future patches for some KUnit testing.

   cases and the "media not present case."
 - Use a table-based lookup of GMD_ID versions rather than a simple
   switch statement; the table will allow us to easily perform kunit

6b7ece97dd drm/xe/irq: Drop unnecessary GEN11_ and GEN12_ register prefixes
Any interrupt registers that were introduced by platforms i915
considered to be "gen11" or "gen12" are present on all platforms that
the Xe driver supports; drop the unnecessary prefixes.

While working in the area, also convert a few open-coded bit

9293b67de6 drm/xe/irq: Add helpers to find ISR/IIR/IMR/IER registers
For cases where IRQ_INIT and IRQ_RESET are used, the relevant interrupt
registers are always consecutive and ordered ISR, IMR, IIR, IER.  Adding
helpers to look these up from a base offset will let us eliminate some
of the CPP pasting and simplify other upcoming patches.

576c6380da drm/xe/pat: Move PAT setup to a dedicated file
PAT handling is growing in complexity and will continue to do so in
upcoming platforms.  Separate it out to a dedicated file to keep things
tidy.

The code is moved as-is here (aside from a few unused #define's that are
just dropped); further changes will come in future patches.

11a2407ed5 drm/xe: Stop accepting value in xe_migrate_clear
Although xe_migrate_clear() has a value argument, currently the driver
is only passing 0 at all the places this function is invoked with the
exception the kunit tests are using the parameter to validate this
function with different values.
xe_migrate_clear() is failing on platforms with link copy engines
because xe_migrate_clear() via emit_clear() is using the blitter
instruction XY_FAST_COLOR_BLT to clear the memory. But this instruction
is not supported by link copy engine.
So the solution is to use the alternate instruction MEM_SET when
platform contains link copy engine. But MEM_SET instruction accepts only
8-bit value for setting whereas the value agrument of xe_migrate_clear()
is 32-bit.
So instead of spreading this limitation around all invocations of
xe_migrate_clear() and causing more confusion, it was decided to not
accept any value itself as driver does not really need this currently.

All the kunit tests are adapted as per the new function prototype.

This will be followed by a patch to add support for link copy engines.

fd93946d59 drm/xe: Add missing LRC workarounds for graphics 1200
Synchronize LRC workarounds for graphics version 1200 with i915 up to
commit 7cdae9e9ee ("drm/i915: Move DG2 tuning to the right function").
These were probably missed for TGL/RKL before because in i915 it uses a
!IS_DG1() condition.  Avoid a similar issue by just checking the
graphics version 1200 since DG1 is 1210.

8cd7e97597 drm/xe: Add missing DG2 lrc workarounds
Synchronize with i915 the DG2 lrc workarounds as of
commit 4d14d7717f ("drm/i915/selftest: Fix ktime_get() and h/w access
order").

A few simplifications were done when the WA should be applied to some
steps of a subplatform and all the steppings of the other subplatforms.
In this case, it was simply applied to all the steppings, which only
means applying it to a few more A* steppings.

The implementation of the workaround 16011186671 triggers a bug in the
RTP infra: it's not possible to set the flag the usual way when having
multiple actions in the entry. This may be fixed later, but for now it's
sufficient to just set the flag directly without the helper macro.

Synchronize with i915 the DG2 tunings as of
commit 4d14d7717f ("drm/i915/selftest: Fix ktime_get() and h/w access
order").

Contrary to the tuning "gang timer" for TGL, there is no quick
justification for why the read back is disabled in i915. Keep it
with that flag for now. That can be tentatively removed later when the
read values are checked.

When this register was added in xe for some workarounds, it was copied
from i915 before the registers got changed to add the MCR annotation.
The register 0xe4f4 is MCR since gen8, long before any GPU supported by

The following warning shows up for TGL:

That is because the same register is being set both by the WAs and the
tunings. Like was done in i915, prefer the tuning over the workaround
since that is applicable for more platforms. Also fix the tuning: it
was incorrectly using the MCR version of the register, but that only
became true in XEHP.

Reduce the use of i915_reg_defs.h so it can be encapsulated in a single
place.

1) If it was being included by mistake, remove
2) If it was included for FIELD_GET()/FIELD_PREP()/GENMASK() and the
   like, just include <linux/bitfield.h>
3) If it was included to be able to define additional registers, move
   the registers to the relavant headers (regs/xe_regs.h or
   regs/xe_gt_regs.h)

Copy the macros used by xe in intel_gpu_commands.h to
regs/xe_gpu_commands.h. PIPE_CONTROL_3D_ENGINE_FLAGS and

drivers/gpu/drm/xe/xe_ring_ops.c and only used there. So let that define
to be used instead of also adding to the new header.
