The ARL requires that the GMA and NPU devices both be in D3Hot in order
for PC10 and S0iX to be achieved in S2idle. The original ARL-H/U addition
to the intel_pmc_core driver attempted to do this by switching them to D3
in the init and resume calls of the intel_pmc_core driver.
The problem is the ARL-H/U have a different NPU device and thus are not
being properly set and thus S0iX does not work properly in ARL-H/U. This
patch creates a new ARL-H specific device id that is correct and also
adds the D3 fixup to the suspend callback. This way if the PCI devies
drop from D3 to D0 after resume they can be corrected for the next
suspend. Thus there is no dropout in S0iX.

Currently, users need detailed hardware information to understand the
scope of controls within each uncore domain. Uncore frequency controls
manage subsystems such as core, cache, memory, and I/O. The UFS TPMI
provides this information, which can be used to present the scope more
clearly.
Each uncore domain consists of one or more agent types, with each agent
type controlling one or more uncore hardware subsystems. For example, a
single agent might control both the core and cache.
Introduce a new attribute called "agent_types." This attribute displays
a list of agents, separated by space character.
The string representations for agent types are as follows:
For core agent: core
For cache agent: cache
For memory agent: memory
For I/O agent: io
These agent types are read during probe time for each cluster and stored

New Intel Meteor Lake based laptops with IPU6 cameras have a new type 0x12
pin defined in the INT3472 sensor companion device which describes
the sensor's GPIOs.
This pin is primarily used on designs with a Lattice FPGA chip which is
capable of running the sensor independently of the main CPU for features
like presence detection. This pin needs to be driven high to make the FPGA
run the power-on sequence of the sensor. After driving the pin high,
the FPGA "firmware" needs 25ms to complete the power-on sequence.
Add support for this modelling the handshake pin as a GPIO driven "dvdd"
regulator with a 25 ms enable time. This model was chosen because:
1. Sensor chips don't have a handshake pin, so we need to abstract this
in some way which does not require modification to the sensor drivers,
sensor drivers using the bulk-regulator API to get avdd + vddio + dvdd
is normal. So this will work to get the right value set to the handshake
pin without requiring sensor driver modifications.
2. Sensors typically wait only a small time for the sensor to power-on
after de-asserting reset. Not the 25ms the Lattice chip requires.
Using the regulator framework's enable_time allows hiding the need for
this delay from the sensor drivers.

After resume/online turbo limit ratio (TRL) is restored partially if
the admin explicitly changed TRL from user space.
A hash table is used to store SST mail box and MSR settings when modified
to restore those settings after resume or online. This uses a struct
isst_cmd field "data" to store these settings. This is a 64 bit field.
But isst_store_new_cmd() is only assigning as u32. This results in
truncation of 32 bits.
Change the argument to u64 from u32.

In pmc_core_ssram_get_pmc(), the physical addresses for hidden SSRAM
devices are retrieved from the MMIO region of the primary SSRAM device.
If additional devices are not present, the address returned is zero.
Currently, the code does not check for this condition, resulting in
ioremap() incorrectly attempting to map address 0.
Add a check for a zero address and return 0 if no additional devices
are found, as it is not an error for the device to be absent.

It seems that Windows is only using the ACPI GPIO resources and never
looks at the part of the _DSM return value which encodes the pin number.
For example on a Terra Pad 1262 v2 the following messages are printend:
int3472-discrete INT3472:01: reset \_SB.GPI0 pin number mismatch _DSM 103 resource 359
int3472-discrete INT3472:01: powerdown \_SB.GPI0 pin number mismatch _DSM 207 resource 335
int3472-discrete INT3472:02: reset \_SB.GPI0 pin number mismatch _DSM 101 resource 357
Notice for the 2 reset pins that the _DSM value is off by 256, this is
caused by there only being 8 bits reserved in the _DSM return value for
the pin-number.
As for the powerdown pin, testing has shown that the pin-number 335 from
the ACPI GPIO resource is correct and the _DSM value is bogus.
Lower the warning about these mismatches to a debug message and only

Not all devices have an ACPI companion fwnode, so adev might be NULL. This
can e.g. (theoretically) happen when a user manually binds one of
the int3472 drivers to another i2c/platform device through sysfs.
Add a check for adev not being set and return -ENODEV in that case to
avoid a possible NULL pointer deref in skl_int3472_get_acpi_buffer().

Commit 6c846d026d ("gpio: Don't fiddle with irqchips marked as

internals of irqchips:
gpio gpiochip4: (INT0002 Virtual GPIO): not an immutable chip, please consider fixing it!
Fix this by making the irqchip in the int0002_vgpio driver immutable.

On some Android tablets with Crystal Cove PMIC the DSDT lacks an ACPI AC
device to indicate whether a charger is plugged in or not.
Add support for registering a "crystal_cove_pwrsrc" power_supply class
device to indicate charger online status. This is made conditional on
a "linux,register-pwrsrc-power_supply" boolean device-property to avoid
registering a duplicate power_supply class device on devices where this
is already handled by an ACPI AC device.
Note the "linux,register-pwrsrc-power_supply" property is only used on
x86/ACPI (non devicetree) devs and the devicetree-bindings maintainers
have requested properties like these to not be added to the devicetree
bindings, so the new property is deliberately not added to any bindings.

Here is a small set of driver core changes for 6.13-rc1.
Nothing major for this merge cycle, except for the 2 simple merge
conflicts are here just to make life interesting.
Included in here are:
- sysfs core changes and preparations for more sysfs api cleanups that
can come through all driver trees after -rc1 is out
- fw_devlink fixes based on many reports and debugging sessions
- list_for_each_reverse() removal, no one was using it!
- last-minute seq_printf() format string bug found and fixed in many
drivers all at once.
- minor bugfixes and changes full details in the shortlog
As mentioned above, there is 2 merge conflicts with your tree, one is
where the file is removed (easy enough to resolve), the second is a
build time error, that has been found in linux-next and the fix can be
seen here:
https://lore.kernel.org/r/20241107212645.41252436@canb.auug.org.au
Other than that, the changes here have been in linux-next with no other
reported issues.

Merge updates of the ACPI battery and EC drivers, an ACPI Platform
Firmware Runtime (PFR) telemetry driver update and an ACPI OS support
layer change for 6.13-rc1:
- Use DEFINE_SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS in the ACPI battery driver, make it use
devm_ for initializing mutexes and allocating driver data, and make
it check the register_pm_notifier() return value (Thomas Weißschuh,
Andy Shevchenko).
- Make the ACPI EC driver support compile-time conditional and allow
ACPI to be built without CONFIG_HAS_IOPORT (Arnd Bergmann).
- Remove a redundant error check from the pfr_telemetry driver (Colin
Ian King).
* acpi-battery:
ACPI: battery: Check for error code from devm_mutex_init() call
ACPI: battery: use DEFINE_SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS
ACPI: battery: initialize mutexes through devm_ APIs
ACPI: battery: allocate driver data through devm_ APIs

Usage of the telem sysfs file allows for partial reads at an offset.
The current callback method returns the buffer starting from offset 0
only.
Include the requested offset in the callback and update the necessary
address calculations with the offset.
Note: offset addition is moved from the caller to the local usage. For
non-callback usage this is unchanged behavior.

Volume buttons on Lenovo Thinkpad X12 Detachable Tablet Gen 1 did not
send any input events when pressed. When loading intel-hid with the 5
Button Array explicitly enabled, the buttons functioned normally.
Adds the X12 Detachable Tablet Gen 1 to the `button_array_table`.
However, the driver is unable to call INTEL_HID_DSM_BTNE_FN and prints
the warning "failed to set button capability" when attempting to enable
or disable the 5 Button Array. The warning should be harmless and
adding more special handling to avoid it is not worth it.
