ed3c9a2fca net: tls: make the offload check helper take skb not socket
All callers of tls_is_sk_tx_device_offloaded() currently do
an equivalent of:

 if (skb->sk && tls_is_skb_tx_device_offloaded(skb->sk))

Have the helper accept skb and do the skb->sk check locally.
Two drivers have local static inlines with similar wrappers
already.

While at it change the ifdef condition to TLS_DEVICE.
Only TLS_DEVICE selects SOCK_VALIDATE_XMIT, so the two are
equivalent. This makes removing the duplicated IS_ENABLED()
check in funeth more obviously correct.

6e98b09da9 Networking changes for 6.4.
Core
 ----

  - Introduce a config option to tweak MAX_SKB_FRAGS. Increasing the
default value allows for better BIG TCP performances.

  - Reduce compound page head access for zero-copy data transfers.

  - RPS/RFS improvements, avoiding unneeded NET_RX_SOFTIRQ when possible.

  - Threaded NAPI improvements, adding defer skb free support and unneeded
    softirq avoidance.

  - Address dst_entry reference count scalability issues, via false
sharing avoidance and optimize refcount tracking.

  - Add lockless accesses annotation to sk_err[_soft].

  - Optimize again the skb struct layout.

  - Extends the skb drop reasons to make it usable by multiple
    subsystems.

  - Better const qualifier awareness for socket casts.

 BPF
 ---

  - Add skb and XDP typed dynptrs which allow BPF programs for more
ergonomic and less brittle iteration through data and variable-sized
    accesses.

  - Add a new BPF netfilter program type and minimal support to hook
BPF programs to netfilter hooks such as prerouting or forward.

  - Add more precise memory usage reporting for all BPF map types.

  - Adds support for using {FOU,GUE} encap with an ipip device operating
in collect_md mode and add a set of BPF kfuncs for controlling encap
    params.

  - Allow BPF programs to detect at load time whether a particular kfunc
exists or not, and also add support for this in light skeleton.

  - Bigger batch of BPF verifier improvements to prepare for upcoming BPF
open-coded iterators allowing for less restrictive looping capabilities.

  - Rework RCU enforcement in the verifier, add kptr_rcu and enforce BPF
programs to NULL-check before passing such pointers into kfunc.

  - Add support for kptrs in percpu hashmaps, percpu LRU hashmaps and in
    local storage maps.

  - Enable RCU semantics for task BPF kptrs and allow referenced kptr
tasks to be stored in BPF maps.

  - Add support for refcounted local kptrs to the verifier for allowing
shared ownership, useful for adding a node to both the BPF list and
    rbtree.

  - Add BPF verifier support for ST instructions in convert_ctx_access()
which will help new -mcpu=v4 clang flag to start emitting them.

  - Add ARM32 USDT support to libbpf.

  - Improve bpftool's visual program dump which produces the control
flow graph in a DOT format by adding C source inline annotations.

 Protocols
 ---------

  - IPv4: Allow adding to IPv4 address a 'protocol' tag. Such value
indicates the provenance of the IP address.

  - IPv6: optimize route lookup, dropping unneeded R/W lock acquisition.

  - Add the handshake upcall mechanism, allowing the user-space
to implement generic TLS handshake on kernel's behalf.

  - Bridge: support per-{Port, VLAN} neighbor suppression, increasing
    resilience to nodes failures.

  - SCTP: add support for Fair Capacity and Weighted Fair Queueing
    schedulers.

  - MPTCP: delay first subflow allocation up to its first usage. This
will allow for later better LSM interaction.

  - xfrm: Remove inner/outer modes from input/output path. These are
    not needed anymore.

  - WiFi:
    - reduced neighbor report (RNR) handling for AP mode
    - HW timestamping support
    - support for randomized auth/deauth TA for PASN privacy
    - per-link debugfs for multi-link
    - TC offload support for mac80211 drivers
    - mac80211 mesh fast-xmit and fast-rx support
    - enable Wi-Fi 7 (EHT) mesh support

 Netfilter
 ---------

  - Add nf_tables 'brouting' support, to force a packet to be routed
    instead of being bridged.

  - Update bridge netfilter and ovs conntrack helpers to handle
IPv6 Jumbo packets properly, i.e. fetch the packet length
from hop-by-hop extension header. This is needed for BIT TCP
    support.

  - The iptables 32bit compat interface isn't compiled in by default
    anymore.

  - Move ip(6)tables builtin icmp matches to the udptcp one.
This has the advantage that icmp/icmpv6 match doesn't load the
iptables/ip6tables modules anymore when iptables-nft is used.

  - Extended netlink error report for netdevice in flowtables and
netdev/chains. Allow for incrementally add/delete devices to netdev
basechain. Allow to create netdev chain without device.

 Driver API
 ----------

  - Remove redundant Device Control Error Reporting Enable, as PCI core
has already error reporting enabled at enumeration time.

  - Move Multicast DB netlink handlers to core, allowing devices other
    then bridge to use them.

  - Allow the page_pool to directly recycle the pages from safely
    localized NAPI.

  - Implement lockless TX queue stop/wake combo macros, allowing for
    further code de-duplication and sanitization.

  - Add YNL support for user headers and struct attrs.

  - Add partial YNL specification for devlink.

  - Add partial YNL specification for ethtool.

  - Add tc-mqprio and tc-taprio support for preemptible traffic classes.

  - Add tx push buf len param to ethtool, specifies the maximum number
of bytes of a transmitted packet a driver can push directly to the
    underlying device.

  - Add basic LED support for switch/phy.

  - Add NAPI documentation, stop relaying on external links.

  - Convert dsa_master_ioctl() to netdev notifier. This is a preparatory
work to make the hardware timestamping layer selectable by user
    space.

  - Add transceiver support and improve the error messages for CAN-FD
    controllers.

e50b9b9e86 cxgb4: fix use after free bugs caused by circular dependency problem
The flower_stats_timer can schedule flower_stats_work and
flower_stats_work can also arm the flower_stats_timer. The
process is shown below:

----------- timer schedules work ------------
ch_flower_stats_cb() //timer handler
  schedule_work(&adap->flower_stats_work);

----------- work arms timer ------------
ch_flower_stats_handler() //workqueue callback function
  mod_timer(&adap->flower_stats_timer, ...);

When the cxgb4 device is detaching, the timer and workqueue
could still be rearmed. The process is shown below:

(cleanup routine) | (timer and workqueue routine)
remove_one()                  |
  free_some_resources()       | ch_flower_stats_cb() //timer
    cxgb4_cleanup_tc_flower() |   schedule_work()
      del_timer_sync()        |
                              | ch_flower_stats_handler() //workqueue
                              |   mod_timer()
      cancel_work_sync()      |
  kfree(adapter) //FREE       | ch_flower_stats_cb() //timer
                              |   adap->flower_stats_work //USE

This patch changes del_timer_sync() to timer_shutdown_sync(),
which could prevent rearming of the timer from the workqueue.

ca7f175fc2 cxgb4: Drop redundant pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting()
pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() enables the device to send ERR_*
Messages. Since f26e58bf6f ("PCI/AER: Enable error reporting when AER is
native"), the PCI core does this for all devices during enumeration, so the
driver doesn't need to do it itself.

Remove the redundant pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() call from the
driver. Also remove the corresponding pci_disable_pcie_error_reporting()
from the driver .remove() path.

Note that this only controls ERR_* Messages from the device. An ERR_*
Message may cause the Root Port to generate an interrupt, depending on the
AER Root Error Command register managed by the AER service driver.

3d4e1bad78 thermal/core: Use the thermal zone 'devdata' accessor in remaining drivers
The thermal zone device structure is exposed to the different drivers
and obviously they access the internals while that should be
restricted to the core thermal code.

In order to self-encapsulate the thermal core code, we need to prevent
the drivers accessing directly the thermal zone structure and provide
accessor functions to deal with.

Use the devdata accessor introduced in the previous patch.

No functional changes intended.

5b7c4cabbb Networking changes for 6.3.
Core
 ----

  - Add dedicated kmem_cache for typical/small skb->head, avoid having
to access struct page at kfree time, and improve memory use.

  - Introduce sysctl to set default RPS configuration for new netdevs.

  - Define Netlink protocol specification format which can be used
to describe messages used by each family and auto-generate parsers.
Add tools for generating kernel data structures and uAPI headers.

  - Expose all net/core sysctls inside netns.

  - Remove 4s sleep in netpoll if carrier is instantly detected on boot.

  - Add configurable limit of MDB entries per port, and port-vlan.

  - Continue populating drop reasons throughout the stack.

  - Retire a handful of legacy Qdiscs and classifiers.

 Protocols
 ---------

  - Support IPv4 big TCP (TSO frames larger than 64kB).

  - Add IP_LOCAL_PORT_RANGE socket option, to control local port range
    on socket by socket basis.

  - Track and report in procfs number of MPTCP sockets used.

  - Support mixing IPv4 and IPv6 flows in the in-kernel MPTCP
    path manager.

  - IPv6: don't check net.ipv6.route.max_size and rely on garbage
collection to free memory (similarly to IPv4).

  - Support Penultimate Segment Pop (PSP) flavor in SRv6 (RFC8986).

  - ICMP: add per-rate limit counters.

  - Add support for user scanning requests in ieee802154.

  - Remove static WEP support.

  - Support minimal Wi-Fi 7 Extremely High Throughput (EHT) rate
    reporting.

  - WiFi 7 EHT channel puncturing support (client & AP).

 BPF
 ---

  - Add a rbtree data structure following the "next-gen data structure"
precedent set by recently added linked list, that is, by using
kfunc + kptr instead of adding a new BPF map type.

  - Expose XDP hints via kfuncs with initial support for RX hash and
    timestamp metadata.

  - Add BPF_F_NO_TUNNEL_KEY extension to bpf_skb_set_tunnel_key
to better support decap on GRE tunnel devices not operating
    in collect metadata.

  - Improve x86 JIT's codegen for PROBE_MEM runtime error checks.

  - Remove the need for trace_printk_lock for bpf_trace_printk
    and bpf_trace_vprintk helpers.

  - Extend libbpf's bpf_tracing.h support for tracing arguments of
kprobes/uprobes and syscall as a special case.

  - Significantly reduce the search time for module symbols
    by livepatch and BPF.

  - Enable cpumasks to be used as kptrs, which is useful for tracing
programs tracking which tasks end up running on which CPUs in
    different time intervals.

  - Add support for BPF trampoline on s390x and riscv64.

  - Add capability to export the XDP features supported by the NIC.

  - Add __bpf_kfunc tag for marking kernel functions as kfuncs.

  - Add cgroup.memory=nobpf kernel parameter option to disable BPF
    memory accounting for container environments.

 Netfilter
 ---------

  - Remove the CLUSTERIP target. It has been marked as obsolete
for years, and we still have WARN splats wrt. races of
the out-of-band /proc interface installed by this target.

  - Add 'destroy' commands to nf_tables. They are identical to
the existing 'delete' commands, but do not return an error if
the referenced object (set, chain, rule...) did not exist.

 Driver API
 ----------

  - Improve cpumask_local_spread() locality to help NICs set the right
    IRQ affinity on AMD platforms.

  - Separate C22 and C45 MDIO bus transactions more clearly.

  - Introduce new DCB table to control DSCP rewrite on egress.

  - Support configuration of Physical Layer Collision Avoidance (PLCA)
Reconciliation Sublayer (RS) (802.3cg-2019). Modern version of
    shared medium Ethernet.

  - Support for MAC Merge layer (IEEE 802.3-2018 clause 99). Allowing
preemption of low priority frames by high priority frames.

  - Add support for controlling MACSec offload using netlink SET.

  - Rework devlink instance refcounts to allow registration and
de-registration under the instance lock. Split the code into multiple
files, drop some of the unnecessarily granular locks and factor out
common parts of netlink operation handling.

  - Add TX frame aggregation parameters (for USB drivers).

  - Add a new attr TCA_EXT_WARN_MSG to report TC (offload) warning
    messages with notifications for debug.

  - Allow offloading of UDP NEW connections via act_ct.

  - Add support for per action HW stats in TC.

  - Support hardware miss to TC action (continue processing in SW from
a specific point in the action chain).

  - Warn if old Wireless Extension user space interface is used with
modern cfg80211/mac80211 drivers. Do not support Wireless Extensions
for Wi-Fi 7 devices at all. Everyone should switch to using nl80211
    interface instead.

  - Improve the CAN bit timing configuration. Use extack to return error
messages directly to user space, update the SJW handling, including
the definition of a new default value that will benefit CAN-FD
controllers, by increasing their oscillator tolerance.

Merge tag 'net-next-6.3' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/netdev/net-next

Pull networking updates from Jakub Kicinski:
 "Core:

   - Add dedicated kmem_cache for typical/small skb->head, avoid having
to access struct page at kfree time, and improve memory use.

   - Introduce sysctl to set default RPS configuration for new netdevs.

   - Define Netlink protocol specification format which can be used to
describe messages used by each family and auto-generate parsers.
Add tools for generating kernel data structures and uAPI headers.

   - Expose all net/core sysctls inside netns.

   - Remove 4s sleep in netpoll if carrier is instantly detected on
     boot.

   - Add configurable limit of MDB entries per port, and port-vlan.

   - Continue populating drop reasons throughout the stack.

   - Retire a handful of legacy Qdiscs and classifiers.

  Protocols:

   - Support IPv4 big TCP (TSO frames larger than 64kB).

   - Add IP_LOCAL_PORT_RANGE socket option, to control local port range
     on socket by socket basis.

   - Track and report in procfs number of MPTCP sockets used.

   - Support mixing IPv4 and IPv6 flows in the in-kernel MPTCP path
     manager.

   - IPv6: don't check net.ipv6.route.max_size and rely on garbage
collection to free memory (similarly to IPv4).

   - Support Penultimate Segment Pop (PSP) flavor in SRv6 (RFC8986).

   - ICMP: add per-rate limit counters.

   - Add support for user scanning requests in ieee802154.

   - Remove static WEP support.

   - Support minimal Wi-Fi 7 Extremely High Throughput (EHT) rate
     reporting.

   - WiFi 7 EHT channel puncturing support (client & AP).

  BPF:

   - Add a rbtree data structure following the "next-gen data structure"
precedent set by recently added linked list, that is, by using
kfunc + kptr instead of adding a new BPF map type.

   - Expose XDP hints via kfuncs with initial support for RX hash and
     timestamp metadata.

   - Add BPF_F_NO_TUNNEL_KEY extension to bpf_skb_set_tunnel_key to
better support decap on GRE tunnel devices not operating in collect
     metadata.

   - Improve x86 JIT's codegen for PROBE_MEM runtime error checks.

   - Remove the need for trace_printk_lock for bpf_trace_printk and
     bpf_trace_vprintk helpers.

   - Extend libbpf's bpf_tracing.h support for tracing arguments of
kprobes/uprobes and syscall as a special case.

   - Significantly reduce the search time for module symbols by
     livepatch and BPF.

  Netfilter:

   - Remove the CLUSTERIP target. It has been marked as obsolete for
years, and we still have WARN splats wrt races of the out-of-band
/proc interface installed by this target.

   - Add 'destroy' commands to nf_tables. They are identical to the
existing 'delete' commands, but do not return an error if the
referenced object (set, chain, rule...) did not exist.

  Driver API:

   - Improve cpumask_local_spread() locality to help NICs set the right
     IRQ affinity on AMD platforms.

   - Separate C22 and C45 MDIO bus transactions more clearly.

   - Introduce new DCB table to control DSCP rewrite on egress.

   - Support configuration of Physical Layer Collision Avoidance (PLCA)
Reconciliation Sublayer (RS) (802.3cg-2019). Modern version of
     shared medium Ethernet.

   - Support for MAC Merge layer (IEEE 802.3-2018 clause 99). Allowing
preemption of low priority frames by high priority frames.

   - Add support for controlling MACSec offload using netlink SET.

   - Rework devlink instance refcounts to allow registration and
de-registration under the instance lock. Split the code into
multiple files, drop some of the unnecessarily granular locks and
factor out common parts of netlink operation handling.

Do not support Wireless
Extensions for Wi-Fi 7 devices at all. Everyone should switch to
     using nl80211 interface instead.

   - Improve the CAN bit timing configuration. Use extack to return
error messages directly to user space, update the SJW handling,
including the definition of a new default value that will benefit
CAN-FD controllers, by increasing their oscillator tolerance.

9adafe2b85 net/sched: move struct tc_mqprio_qopt_offload from pkt_cls.h to pkt_sched.h
Since mqprio is a scheduler and not a classifier, move its offload
structure to pkt_sched.h, where struct tc_taprio_qopt_offload also lies.

Also update some header inclusions in drivers that access this
structure, to the best of my abilities.

The label passed to the QDESC_GET for the ETHOFLD TXQ, RXQ, and FLQ, is the

ef0162298a RDMA/cxgb4: fix accept failure due to increased cpl_t5_pass_accept_rpl size
Commit 'c2ed5611afd7' has increased the cpl_t5_pass_accept_rpl{} structure
size by 8B to avoid roundup. cpl_t5_pass_accept_rpl{} is a HW specific
structure and increasing its size will lead to unwanted adapter errors.
Current commit reverts the cpl_t5_pass_accept_rpl{} back to its original
and allocates zeroed skb buffer there by avoiding the memset for iss field.
Reorder code to minimize chip type checks.

d97b4b105c flow_offload: reject offload for all drivers with invalid police parameters
As more police parameters are passed to flow_offload, driver can check
them to make sure hardware handles packets in the way indicated by tc.
The conform-exceed control should be drop/pipe or drop/ok. Besides,
for drop/ok, the police should be the last action. As hardware can't
configure peakrate/avrate/overhead, offload should not be supported if
any of them is configured.

7fc7fc5da6 cxgb4: Remove useless DMA-32 fallback configuration
As stated in [1], dma_set_mask() with a 64-bit mask never fails if
dev->dma_mask is non-NULL.
So, if it fails, the 32 bits case will also fail for the same reason.

So, if dma_set_mask_and_coherent() succeeds, 'highdma' is known to be true.

Simplify code and remove some dead code accordingly.

In preparation for FORTIFY_SOURCE performing compile-time and run-time
field bounds checking for memset(), avoid intentionally writing across
neighboring fields.

Use memset_startat() so memset() doesn't get confused about writing beyond
the destination member that is intended to be the starting point of
zeroing through the end of the struct. Additionally, since everything
appears to perform a roundup (including allocation), just change the size
of the struct itself and add a build-time check to validate the expected
size.

In preparation for FORTIFY_SOURCE performing compile-time and run-time

Use struct_group() in struct fw_eth_tx_pkt_vm_wr around members ethmacdst,

will allow memcpy() and sizeof() to more easily reason about sizes,
improve readability, and avoid future warnings about writing beyond the

The series "PCI/VPD: Convert more users to the new VPD API functions"
was applied to net-next when it should have been applied to the PCI tree
because of build errors. However, commit 82e34c8a9b ("Revert "Revert
"cxgb4: Search VPD with pci_vpd_find_ro_info_keyword()""") reapplied a
change, resulting in the warning above.

Properly revert commit 8d63ee602d ("cxgb4: Search VPD with
pci_vpd_find_ro_info_keyword()") to fix the warning and restore proper
functionality. This also reverts commit 3a93bedea0 ("cxgb4: Remove
unused vpd_param member ec") to avoid future merge conflicts, as that
change has been applied to the PCI tree.

4489d8f528 net: chelsio: switch from 'pci_' to 'dma_' API
The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away.

The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below.

It has been hand modified to use 'dma_set_mask_and_coherent()' instead of
'pci_set_dma_mask()/pci_set_consistent_dma_mask()' when applicable.
This is less verbose.

It has been compile tested.

a76053707d dev_ioctl: split out ndo_eth_ioctl
Most users of ndo_do_ioctl are ethernet drivers that implement
the MII commands SIOCGMIIPHY/SIOCGMIIREG/SIOCSMIIREG, or hardware
timestamping with SIOCSHWTSTAMP/SIOCGHWTSTAMP.

Separate these from the few drivers that use ndo_do_ioctl to
implement SIOCBOND, SIOCBR and SIOCWANDEV commands.

This is a purely cosmetic change intended to help readers find
their way through the implementation.

015fe6fd29 cxgb4: fix IRQ free race during driver unload
IRQs are requested during driver's ndo_open() and then later
freed up in disable_interrupts() during driver unload.
A race exists where driver can set the CXGB4_FULL_INIT_DONE
flag in ndo_open() after the disable_interrupts() in driver
unload path checks it, and hence misses calling free_irq().

Fix by unregistering netdevice first and sync with driver's
ndo_open(). This ensures disable_interrupts() checks the flag
correctly and frees up the IRQs properly.

88c380df84 cxgb4: avoid accessing registers when clearing filters
Hardware register having the server TID base can contain
invalid values when adapter is in bad state (for example,
due to AER fatal error). Reading these invalid values in the
register can lead to out-of-bound memory access. So, fix
by using the saved server TID base when clearing filters.

dd2c796773 cxgb4: Fix unintentional sign extension issues
The shifting of the u8 integers f->fs.nat_lip[] by 24 bits to
the left will be promoted to a 32 bit signed int and then
sign-extended to a u64. In the event that the top bit of the u8
is set then all then all the upper 32 bits of the u64 end up as
also being set because of the sign-extension. Fix this by
casting the u8 values to a u64 before the 24 bit left shift.

2355a6773a cxgb4/chtls/cxgbit: Keeping the max ofld immediate data size same in cxgb4 and ulds
The Max imm data size in cxgb4 is not similar to the max imm data size
in the chtls. This caused an mismatch in output of is_ofld_imm() of
cxgb4 and chtls. So fixed this by keeping the max wreq size of imm data
same in both chtls and cxgb4 as MAX_IMM_OFLD_TX_DATA_WR_LEN.

As cxgb4's max imm. data value for ofld packets is changed to
MAX_IMM_OFLD_TX_DATA_WR_LEN. Using the same in cxgbit also.

b660bccbc3 cxgb4: enable interrupt based Tx completions for T5
Enable interrupt based Tx completions to improve latency for T5.
The consumer index (CIDX) will now come via interrupts so that Tx
SKBs can be freed up sooner in Rx path. Also, enforce CIDX flush
threshold override (CIDXFTHRESHO) to improve latency for slow
traffic. This ensures that the interrupt is generated immediately
whenever hardware catches up with driver (i.e. CIDX == PIDX is
reached), which is often the case for slow traffic.

687823d2d1 cxgb4/ch_ktls: creating skbs causes panic
Creating SKB per tls record and freeing the original one causes
panic. There will be race if connection reset is requested. By
freeing original skb, refcnt will be decremented and that means,
there is no pending record to send, and so tls_dev_del will be
requested in control path while SKB of related connection is in
queue.
Better approach is to use same SKB to send one record (partial
data) at a time. We still have to create a new SKB when partial
last part of a record is requested.
This fix introduces new API cxgb4_write_partial_sgl() to send
partial part of skb. Present cxgb4_write_sgl can only provide
feasibility to start from an offset which limits to header only
and it can write sgls for the whole skb len. But this new API
will help in both. It can start from any offset and can end
writing in middle of the skb.
