In bio_integrity_prep(), a kernel buffer is allocated through kmalloc() to hold integrity metadata. Later on, the buffer will be attached to the bio structure through bio_integrity_add_page(), which returns the number of bytes of integrity metadata attached. Due to unexpected situations, bio_integrity_add_page() may return 0. As a result, bio_integrity_prep() needs to be terminated with 'false' returned to indicate this error. However, the allocated kernel buffer is not freed on this execution path, leading to a memory leak. To fix this issue, free the allocated buffer before returning from bio_integrity_prep(). Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
