ARM: SoC fixes for 6.6
These are teh latest bug fixes that have come up in the soc tree.
Most of these are fairly minor. Most notably, the majority of
changes this time are not for dts files as usual.
- Updates to the addresses of the broadcom and aspeed entries in the
MAINTAINERS file.
- Defconfig updates to address a regression on samsung and a build
warning from an unknown Kconfig symbol
- Build fixes for the StrongARM and Uniphier platforms
- Code fixes for SCMI and FF-A firmware drivers, both of which had
a simple bug that resulted in invalid data, and a lesser fix for
the optee firmware driver
- Multiple fixes for the recently added loongson/loongarch "guts"
soc driver
- Devicetree fixes for RISC-V on the startfive platform, addressing
issues with NOR flash, usb and uart.
- Multiple fixes for NXP i.MX8/i.MX9 dts files, fixing problems
with clock, gpio, hdmi settings and the Makefile
- Bug fixes for i.MX firmware code and the OCOTP soc driver
- Multiple fixes for the TI sysc bus driver
- Minor dts updates for TI omap dts files, to address boot
time warnings and errors

ATA fixes for 6.6-rc4
A larger than usual set of fixes for 6.6-rc4 due to the unexpected
number of fixes needed to address ATA disks suspend/resume issues.
In more details:
- Add missing additionalProperties on child nodes to the pata-common DT
bindings (Rob).
- Fix handling of the REPORT SUPPORTED OPERATION CODES command to
ignore reserved bits (Niklas).
- Increase port multiplier soft reset timeout to accomodate slow
devices and avoid issues on wakeup (Matthias).
- A couple of minor code fixes to avoid compilation warnings in
libata-core and libata-eh (me).
- Many patches from me to address suspend/resume issues, and in
particular a potential deadlock on resume due to the SCSI disk driver
resume operation not being synchronized with libata EH port resume
handling. This is addressed by changing the scsi disk driver disk
start/stop control to allow libata to execute disk suspend (spin
down) and resume (spin up) on its own during system suspend/resume.
Runtime suspend/resume control remains with the SCSI disk driver.
Other fixes include:
- Fix libata power management request issuing to avoid races.
- Establish a link between ATA ports and SCSI devices to order PM
operations.
- Fix device removal to avoid issues with driver rmmod removal.
- Fix synchronization of libata device rescan and SCSI disk resume
operation.
- Remove libsas PM operations as suspend/resume is handled directly
by the sas controller resume.
- Fix the SCSI disk driver to not issue commands to suspended disks,
thus avoiding potential system lock-up on resume.

A bunch of clk driver fixes for issues found recently.
- Fix the binding for versaclock3 that was introduced this merge window
so we know what the values are for clk consumers
- Fix a 64-bit division issue in the versaclock3 driver
- Avoid breakage in the versaclock3 driver by rejiggering the enums
used to layout clks
- Fix the parent name of a clk in the Spreadtrum ums512 clk driver
- Fix a suspend/resume issue in Skyworks Si521xx clk driver where
regmap restoration fails because writes are wedged
- Return zero from Tegra bpmp recalc_rate() implementation when an
error occurs so we don't consider an error as a large rate

Add dt-bindings for coe-unsupported property per tx queue. Some DWMAC IPs support tx checksum offloading(coe) only for a few tx queues. DW xGMAC IP can be synthesized such that it can support tx coe only for a few initial tx queues. Also as Serge pointed out, for the DW QoS IP tx coe can be individually configured for each tx queue. This property is added to have sw fallback for checksum calculation if a tx queue doesn't support tx coe. dt-bindings: net: Add documentation for Half duplex support.
In order to support half-duplex operation at 10M and 100M link speeds, the PHY collision detection signal (COL) should be routed to ICSSG GPIO pin (PRGx_PRU0/1_GPI10) so that firmware can detect collision signal and apply the CSMA/CD algorithm applicable for half duplex operation. A DT property, "ti,half-duplex-capable" is introduced for this purpose. If board has PHY COL pin conencted to PRGx_PRU1_GPIO10, this DT property can be added to eth node of ICSSG, MII port to support half duplex operation at that port. Merge patch series "Add non-coherent DMA support for AX45MP"
Prabhakar <prabhakar.csengg@gmail.com> says:
From: Lad Prabhakar <prabhakar.mahadev-lad.rj@bp.renesas.com>
non-coherent DMA support for AX45MP
====================================
On the Andes AX45MP core, cache coherency is a specification option so it
may not be supported. In this case DMA will fail. To get around with this
issue this patch series does the below:
1] Andes alternative ports is implemented as errata which checks if the
IOCP is missing and only then applies to CMO errata. One vendor specific
SBI EXT (ANDES_SBI_EXT_IOCP_SW_WORKAROUND) is implemented as part of
errata.
Below are the configs which Andes port provides (and are selected by
RZ/Five):
- ERRATA_ANDES
- ERRATA_ANDES_CMO
OpenSBI patch supporting ANDES_SBI_EXT_IOCP_SW_WORKAROUND SBI is now
part v1.3 release.
2] Andes AX45MP core has a Programmable Physical Memory Attributes (PMA)
block that allows dynamic adjustment of memory attributes in the runtime.
It contains a configurable amount of PMA entries implemented as CSR
registers to control the attributes of memory locations in interest.
OpenSBI configures the PMA regions as required and creates a reserve memory
node and propagates it to the higher boot stack.
Currently OpenSBI (upstream) configures the required PMA region and passes
this a shared DMA pool to Linux.
reserved-memory {
#address-cells = <2>;
#size-cells = <2>;
ranges;
pma_resv0@58000000 {
compatible = "shared-dma-pool";
reg = <0x0 0x58000000 0x0 0x08000000>;
no-map;
linux,dma-default;
};
};
The above shared DMA pool gets appended to Linux DTB so the DMA memory
requests go through this region.
3] We provide callbacks to synchronize specific content between memory and
cache.
4] RZ/Five SoC selects the below configs
- AX45MP_L2_CACHE
- DMA_GLOBAL_POOL
- ERRATA_ANDES
- ERRATA_ANDES_CMO

Convert the OmniVision OV7251 Image Sensor binding to DT schema format. vddd-supply was listed as required, but the example and actual user don't have it. media: dt-bindings: Merge OV5695 into OV5693 binding
The OV5695 binding is almost the same as the OV5693 binding. The only difference is 'clock-names' is defined for OV5695. However, the lack of clock-names is an omission as the Linux OV5693 driver expects the same 'xvclk' clock name. 'link-frequencies' is required by OV5693, but not OV5695, so make that conditional. Really, this shouldn't vary by device, but we're stuck with the existing binding use. The rockchip-isp1 binding example is missing required properties, so it has to be updated as well. remoteproc updates for v6.6
Support for booting the iMX remoteprocs using MMIO, instead of SMCCC is added. The iMX driver is also extended to support delivering interrupts from an arbitrary number of vdev. Support is added to the TI PRU driver, to allow GPMUX to be controlled from DeviceTree. The Qualcomm coredump collector is extended to fall back to generating a full coredump, in the case that the loaded firmware doesn't support generating minidump. The overly terse MD abbreviation of "MINIDUMP" is expanded, to make the code easier on the eye. The list of Qualcomm Sensor Low Power Island (SLPI) instances supported is cleaned up, and SDM845 is added. SDM630/636/660 support for the modem subsystem (mss) is added. All the Qualcomm drivers are transitioned to of_reserved_mem_lookup() instead of open coding the resolution of reserved-memory regions, to gain handling of error cases. A couple of drivers are transitioned to use devm_platform_ioremap_resource_byname(). The stm32 remoteproc driver's PM operations are updated to modern macros, to avoid the "unused variable"-warning in some configurations. Drivers are transitioned away from directly including of_device.h. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQJJBAABCAAzFiEEBd4DzF816k8JZtUlCx85Pw2ZrcUFAmT2AqkVHGFuZGVyc3Nv bkBrZXJuZWwub3JnAAoJEAsfOT8Nma3FvWMQALC4zy9ZNMLDNmfD4uO8u5R65eWv MzZqqsIVjmdcNcrJykKdIw33gBo50zw6AHcZjSdhOHdGvi/g8vQERhVO1k4dMzII JepoWG5HHY2nffr8LNQzG2HD0n4l6CQV3Ftg0/JlAhO1ADJz70HME3tUOiizLQUP TfIfF0pkmcjHERFNe+ESdWqkw+DUGGHXSs+b4f8jjqBvKSYayPo02wSAw/koV44a DJlw4U2omP76NWu30prqGqGvdB1ADwLcVLAFJg7+1c5ttqsZcz/SOZRlHbss200F 5JuM5IF6HJgq2E9Cst+iWlH1ZtiMFFf+ZRmHv48BImpaBdeTcZuEz9k42ay3eVwJ FghK77c63MbICBOQiQv+QeGr5c49pU1UbioxtIKa3MmNE6gE/qHaLerHXyxd5XTq dhxuqFNgq4xClq9H8CUTkugSvHLvXiaZim240N2715GYL2VR4ZfAkM1xywBEKu32 WZ61ueb0oZWYFUui2KrPgjvlQzf5ZtTs+1y000WJypaoCXU2kcq/zAvjMJlReYDu d97sntyy2Deae7ko/sMz4XrICQCug0WTE5PFXOCttWsYOJ8DvSvhND5fVmxc/uA3 Gd+HdnLOc+RfKXiL5BoVf+BUIeuKTNaMutkIabcGTvgPPbJlic7iw6kR8NqCQ+mr U8E4hulg1I9aXwu4 =BV3w -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'rproc-v6.6' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/remoteproc/linux Pull remoteproc updates from Bjorn Andersson: "Support for booting the iMX remoteprocs using MMIO, instead of SMCCC is added. a lot of developers were on holidays (including myself) it was a good timing to apply lots of cleanups which would normally cause merge conflicts with other floating patches.
