7a74c1265a net: mvpp2: Consider NVMEM cells as possible MAC address source
The ONIE standard describes the organization of tlv (type-length-value)
arrays commonly stored within NVMEM devices on common networking
hardware.

Several drivers already make use of NVMEM cells for purposes like
retrieving a default MAC address provided by the manufacturer.

What made ONIE tables unusable so far was the fact that the information
where "dynamically" located within the table depending on the
manufacturer wishes, while Linux NVMEM support only allowed statically
defined NVMEM cells. Fortunately, this limitation was eventually tackled
with the introduction of discoverable cells through the use of NVMEM
layouts, making it possible to extract and consistently use the content
of tables like ONIE's tlv arrays.

Parsing this table at runtime in order to get various information is now
possible. So, because many Marvell networking switches already follow
this standard, let's consider using NVMEM cells as a new valid source of
information when looking for a base MAC address, which is one of the
primary uses of these new fields. Indeed, manufacturers following the
ONIE standard are encouraged to provide a default MAC address there, so
let's eventually use it if no other MAC address has been found using the
existing methods.

a48acad789 net: marvell: prestera: Avoid unnecessary DT lookups
This driver fist makes an expensive DT lookup to retrieve its DT node
(this is a PCI driver) in order to later search for the
base-mac-provider property. This property has no reality upstream and
this code should not have been accepted like this in the first
place. Instead, there is a proper nvmem interface that should be
used. Let's avoid these extra lookups and rely on the nvmem internal
logic.

32b931c86d octeontx2-pf: Fix pfc_alloc_status array overflow
This patch addresses pfc_alloc_status array overflow occurring for
send queue index value greater than PFC priority. Queue index can be
greater than supported PFC priority for multiple scenarios (e.g. QoS,
during non zero SMQ allocation for a PF/VF).
In those scenarios the API should return default tx scheduler '0'.
This is causing mbox errors as otx2_get_smq_idx returing invalid smq value.

ad17c2a3f1 octeontx2-af: Fix reference count issue in rvu_sdp_init()
pci_get_device() will decrease the reference count for the *from*
parameter. So we don't need to call put_device() to decrease the
reference. Let's remove the put_device() in the loop and only decrease
the reference count of the returned 'pdev' for the last loop because it
will not be passed to pci_get_device() as input parameter. We don't need
to check if 'pdev' is NULL because it is already checked inside
pci_dev_put(). Also add pci_dev_put() for the error path.

674b3e1642 octeontx2-pf: Add additional checks while configuring ucast/bcast/mcast rules

354259fa73 net: remove skb->vlan_present

We can instead derive it from this boolean expression:

vlan_present = skb->vlan_proto != 0 || skb->vlan_tci != 0

	union {

0152dfee23 net: mvpp2: fix mvpp2 debugfs leak
When mvpp2 is unloaded, the driver specific debugfs directory is not
removed, which technically leads to a memory leak. However, this
directory is only created when the first device is probed, so the
hardware is present. Removing the module is only something a developer
would to when e.g. testing out changes, so the module would be
reloaded. So this memory leak is minor.

The original attempt in commit fe2c9c61f6 ("net: mvpp2: debugfs: fix
memory leak when using debugfs_lookup()") that was labelled as a memory
leak fix was not, it fixed a refcount leak, but in doing so created a
problem when the module is reloaded - the directory already exists, but
mvpp2_root is NULL, so we lose all debugfs entries. This fix has been
reverted.

This is the alternative fix, where we remove the offending directory
whenever the driver is unloaded.

This patch introduces the macsec offload feature to cn10k

and updating SecYs, SCs, SAs and stats are supported. XPN support
will be added in later patches. Some stats use same counter in hardware
which means based on the SecY mode the same counter represents different
stat. Hence when SecY mode/policy is changed then snapshot of current

b48b89f9c1 net: drop the weight argument from netif_napi_add

2ef4e45d99 octeontx2-af: Add PTP PPS Errata workaround on CN10K silicon
Errata:
The ptp_clock_hi rollsover to zero one clock cycle before it
reaches one second boundary. As a result, the pps threshold
comparison fails after one second and the pps output signal
won't toggle further.

This patch workarounds the issue by programming the pps_lo_incr
register to 500msec minus one clock cycle period, ensuring that
the pps threshold comparison succeeds at one second rollover
boundary and pps edge toggles. After that point, the driver will
have enough time (~500msec) to reset the pps threshold value.
After each one second boundary, hrtimer is invoked which resets
the pps threshold value.

44af95718f net: prestera: manage matchall and flower priorities
matchall rules can be added only to chain 0 and their priorities have
limitations:
 - new matchall ingress rule's priority must be higher (lower value)
   than any existing flower rule;
 - new matchall egress rule's priority must be lower (higher value)
   than any existing flower rule.

The opposite works for flower rule adding:
 - new flower ingress rule's priority must be lower (higher value)
   than any existing matchall rule;
 - new flower egress rule's priority must be higher (lower value)
   than any existing matchall rule.

This is a hardware limitation and thus must be properly handled in
driver by reporting errors to the user when newly added rule has such a
priority that cannot be installed into the hardware.

To achieve this, the driver must maintain both min/max matchall
priorities for every flower block when user adds/deletes a matchall
rule, as well as both min/max flower priorities for chain 0 for every
adding/deletion of flower rules for chain 0.

13c9f4dc10 octeontx2-pf: Fix NIX_AF_TL3_TL2X_LINKX_CFG register configuration
For packets scheduled to RPM and LBK, NIX_AF_PSE_CHANNEL_LEVEL[BP_LEVEL]
selects the TL3 or TL2 scheduling level as the one used for link/channel
selection and backpressure. For each scheduling queue at the selected
level: Setting NIX_AF_TL3_TL2(0..255)_LINK(0..12)_CFG[ENA] = 1 allows
the TL3/TL2 queue to schedule packets to a specified RPM or LBK link
and channel.

There is an issue in the code where NIX_AF_PSE_CHANNEL_LEVEL[BP_LEVEL]
is set to TL3 where as the NIX_AF_TL3_TL2(0..255)_LINK(0..12)_CFG is
configured for TL2 queue in some cases. As a result packets will not
transmit on that link/channel. This patch fixes the issue by configuring

deef0d6afe net: marvell: prestera: implement software MDB entries allocation
Define bridge MDB entry (software entry):
  - entry that get's created upon receiving MDB management events
(create/delete), that inherently defines a software entry,
which can be enabled (offloaded to the HW) or disabled (removed
    from HW).
This separation is done to achieve a better highlevel
management of HW resources - software MDB entry could exist,
while it's not necessarily should be configured on the HW.
For example: by default, the Linux behavior would not replicate
multicast traffic to multicast group members if there's no
active multicast router and thus - no actual multicast traffic
can be received/sent. So, until multicast router appears on the
system no HW configuration should be applied, although SW MDB entries
    should be tracked.
Another example would be altering state of 'multicast enabled' on
the bridge: MC_DISABLED should invoke disabling / clearing multicast
groups of specified bridge on the HW, yet upon receiving 'multicast
enabled' event, driver should reconfigure any existing software MDB
    groups on the HW.
Keeping track of software MDB entries in such way makes it possible
to properly react on such events.
Define bridge MDB port entry (software entry):
  - entry that helps keeping track (on software - driver - level) of which
    bridge mebemer interface joined any give MDB group;

This patch fixes the problem by removing unnecessary resetting
of PFC config. Also configure Pause quanta value to smaller as
current value is too high.

69d7d257cd Revert "Merge branch 'octeontx2-af-next'"
This reverts commit 2ef8e39f58, reversing
changes made to e7ce9fc9ad.

There are build warnings here which break the normal
build due to -Werror. Ratheesh was nice enough to quickly
follow up with fixes but didn't hit all the warnings I
see on GCC 12 so to unlock net-next from taking patches
let get this series out for now.

CN10KB silicon has support for exact match table. This table
can be used to match maimum 64 bit value of KPU parsed output.

This patch makes use of Exact match table to increase number of

e8bd70250a prestera: acl: add action hw_stats support
Currently, when user adds a tc action and the action gets offloaded,
the user expects the HW stats to be counted also. This limits the
amount of supported offloaded filters, as HW counter resources may
be quite limited. Without counter assigned, the HW is capable to
carry much more filters.

To resolve the issue above, the following types of HW stats are
offloaded and supported by the driver:

any - current default, user does not care about the type.
delayed - polled from HW periodically.
disabled - no HW stats needed.
immediate - not supported.

Example:
tc filter add dev PORT ingress proto ip flower skip_sw ip_proto 0x11 \
    action drop
tc filter add dev PORT ingress proto ip flower skip_sw ip_proto 0x12 \
    action drop hw_stats disabled
tc filter add dev sw1p1 ingress proto ip flower skip_sw ip_proto 0x14 \
    action drop hw_stats delayed

11f8e7c122 net: ethernet: mv643xx: Fix over zealous checking of_get_mac_address()
There is often not a MAC address available in an EEPROM accessible by
Linux with Marvell devices. Instead the bootload has the MAC address
and directly programs it into the hardware. So don't consider an error
from of_get_mac_address() has fatal. However, the check was added for
the case where there is a MAC address in an the EEPROM, but the EEPROM
has not probed yet, and -EPROBE_DEFER is returned. In that case the
error should be returned. So make the check specific to this error
code.

  - Speed up netns dismantling (5x) and lower the memory cost a little.
Remove unnecessary per-netns sockets. Scope some lists to a netns.
Cut down RCU syncing. Use batch methods. Allow netdev registration
    to complete out of order.

  - Support distinguishing timestamp types (ingress vs egress) and
maintaining them across packet scrubbing points (e.g. redirect).

    sections problematic on PREEMPT_RT.

  - Extend the ref_tracker to allow catching use-after-free bugs.

 BPF
 ---

  - Introduce "packing allocator" for BPF JIT images. JITed code is
marked read only, and used to be allocated at page granularity.
Custom allocator allows for more efficient memory use, lower
iTLB pressure and prevents identity mapping huge pages from
    getting split.

  - Make use of BTF type annotations (e.g. __user, __percpu) to enforce
the correct probe read access method, add appropriate helpers.

  - Convert the BPF preload to use light skeleton and drop
    the user-mode-driver dependency.

  - Allow XDP BPF_PROG_RUN test infra to send real packets, enabling
its use as a packet generator.

  - Allow local storage memory to be allocated with GFP_KERNEL if called
from a hook allowed to sleep.

  - Introduce fprobe (multi kprobe) to speed up mass attachment (arch
    bits to come later).

  - Add unstable conntrack lookup helpers for BPF by using the BPF
    kfunc infra.

  - Allow cgroup BPF progs to return custom errors to user space.

  - Add support for AF_UNIX iterator batching.

  - Allow iterator programs to use sleepable helpers.

  - Support JIT of add, and, or, xor and xchg atomic ops on arm64.

  - Add BTFGen support to bpftool which allows to use CO-RE in kernels
    without BTF info.

  - Large number of libbpf API improvements, cleanups and deprecations.

 Protocols
 ---------

  - Micro-optimize UDPv6 Tx, gaining up to 5% in test on dummy netdev.

  - Adjust TSO packet sizes based on min_rtt, allowing very low latency
links (data centers) to always send full-sized TSO super-frames.

  - Make IPv6 flow label changes (AKA hash rethink) more configurable,
via sysctl and setsockopt. Distinguish between server and client
    behavior.

  - VxLAN support to "collect metadata" devices to terminate only
configured VNIs. This is similar to VLAN filtering in the bridge.

  - Support inserting IPv6 IOAM information to a fraction of frames.

  - Add protocol attribute to IP addresses to allow identifying where
given address comes from (kernel-generated, DHCP etc.)

  - Support setting socket and IPv6 options via cmsg on ping6 sockets.

  - Reject mis-use of ECN bits in IP headers as part of DSCP/TOS.
Define dscp_t and stop taking ECN bits into account in fib-rules.

  - Add support for locked bridge ports (for 802.1X).

  - tun: support NAPI for packets received from batched XDP buffs,
doubling the performance in some scenarios.

  - IPv6 extension header handling in Open vSwitch.

  - Support IPv6 control message load balancing in bonding, prevent
neighbor solicitation and advertisement from using the wrong port.
Support NS/NA monitor selection similar to existing ARP monitor.

  - SMC
    - improve performance with TCP_CORK and sendfile()
    - support auto-corking
    - support TCP_NODELAY

  - MCTP (Management Component Transport Protocol)
    - add user space tag control interface
    - I2C binding driver (as specified by DMTF DSP0237)

  - Multi-BSSID beacon handling in AP mode for WiFi.

  - Bluetooth:
    - handle MSFT Monitor Device Event
    - add MGMT Adv Monitor Device Found/Lost events

  - Multi-Path TCP:
    - add support for the SO_SNDTIMEO socket option
    - lots of selftest cleanups and improvements

  - Increase the max PDU size in CAN ISOTP to 64 kB.

 Driver API
 ----------

  - Add HW counters for SW netdevs, a mechanism for devices which
offload packet forwarding to report packet statistics back to
    software interfaces such as tunnels.

  - Select the default NIC queue count as a fraction of number of
physical CPU cores, instead of hard-coding to 8.

  - Expose devlink instance locks to drivers. Allow device layer of
drivers to use that lock directly instead of creating their own
which always runs into ordering issues in devlink callbacks.

  - Add header/data split indication to guide user space enabling
    of TCP zero-copy Rx.

  - Allow configuring completion queue event size.

  - Refactor page_pool to enable fragmenting after allocation.

  - Add allocation and page reuse statistics to page_pool.

   - Add header/data split indication to guide user space enabling of
     TCP zero-copy Rx.

   - Allow configuring completion queue event size.

   - Refactor page_pool to enable fragmenting after allocation.

   - Add allocation and page reuse statistics to page_pool.

   - Improve Multiple Spanning Trees support in the bridge to allow
reuse of topologies across VLANs, saving HW resources in switches.

   - DSA (Distributed Switch Architecture):
      - replay and offload of host VLAN entries
      - offload of static and local FDB entries on LAG interfaces
      - FDB isolation and unicast filtering

It is not recommened to use platform_get_resource(pdev, IORESOURCE_IRQ)
for requesting IRQ's resources any more, as they can be not ready yet in
case of DT-booting.

platform_get_irq() instead is a recommended way for getting IRQ even if
it was not retrieved earlier.

It also makes code simpler because we're getting "int" value right away
and no conversion from resource to int is required.

6426fc3aba octeontx2-af: cn10k: add workaround for ptp errata
This patch adds workaround for PTP errata given below.

1. At the time of 1 sec rollover of nano-second counter,
the nano-second counter is set to 0. However, it should
be set to (existing counter_value - 10^9). This leads to
an accumulating error in the timestamp value with each sec
   rollover.
2. Additionally, the nano-second counter currently is rolling
over at 'h3B9A_C9FF. It should roll over at 'h3B9A_CA00.

The workaround for issue #1 is to speed up the ptp clock by
adjusting PTP_CLOCK_COMP register to the desired value to
compensate for the nanoseconds lost per each second.

The workaround for issue #2 is to slow down the ptp clock
such that the rollover occurs at ~1sec.

74c1b2338e octeontx2-pf: cn10k: add support for new ptp timestamp format
The cn10k hardware ptp timestamp format has been modified primarily
to support 1-step ptp clock. The 64-bit timestamp used by hardware is
split into two 32-bit fields, the upper one holds seconds, the lower
one nanoseconds. A new register (PTP_CLOCK_SEC) has been added that
returns the current seconds value. The nanoseconds register PTP_CLOCK_HI
resets after every second. The cn10k RPM block provides Rx/Tx timestamps
to the NIX block using the new timestamp format. The software can read
the current timestamp in nanoseconds by reading both PTP_CLOCK_SEC &
PTP_CLOCK_HI registers.

This patch provides support for new timestamp format.

5a2aba71cd net: mvpp2: always set port pcs ops
Booting a MACCHIATObin with 5.17, the system OOPs with
a null pointer deref when the network is started. This
is caused by the pcs->ops structure being null in
mcpp2_acpi_start() when it tries to call pcs_config().

Hoisting the code which sets pcs_gmac.ops and pcs_xlg.ops,
assuring they are always set, fixes the problem.

The OOPs looks like:

5224f79096 treewide: Replace zero-length arrays with flexible-array members
There is a regular need in the kernel to provide a way to declare
having a dynamically sized set of trailing elements in a structure.
Kernel code should always use “flexible array members”[1] for these
cases. The older style of one-element or zero-length arrays should
no longer be used[2].

This code was transformed with the help of Coccinelle:

4b0385bc8e octeontx2-pf: Add TC feature for VFs
This patch adds TC feature for VFs also. When MCAM

8e67558177 octeontx2-pf: PFC config support with DCBx
Data centric bridging designed to eliminate packet loss due to
queue overflow by adding enhancements to ethernet network such as
proprity flow control etc. This patch adds support for management
of Priority flow control(PFC) on Octeontx2 and CN10K interfaces.

To enable PFC for all priorities
	dcb pfc set dev eth0 prio-pfc all:on/off

To enable PFC on selected priorites
	dcb pfc set dev eth0 prio-pfc 0:on/off 1:on/off ..7:on/off

With the ntuple commands user can map Priority to receive queues.
On queue overflow NIX will assert backpressure such that PFC pause frames
are genarated with mapped priority.

To map priority 7 to Queue 1
ethtool -U eth0 flow-type ether dst xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx vlan 0xe00a

bf25146a55 bpf: add frags support to the bpf_xdp_adjust_tail() API
This change adds support for tail growing and shrinking for XDP frags.

When called on a non-linear packet with a grow request, it will work
on the last fragment of the packet. So the maximum grow size is the
last fragments tailroom, i.e. no new buffer will be allocated.
A XDP frags capable driver is expected to set frag_size in xdp_rxq_info
data structure to notify the XDP core the fragment size.
frag_size set to 0 is interpreted by the XDP core as tail growing is
not allowed.
Introduce __xdp_rxq_info_reg utility routine to initialize frag_size field.

When shrinking, it will work from the last fragment, all the way down to
the base buffer depending on the shrinking size. It's important to mention
that once you shrink down the fragment(s) are freed, so you can not grow
again to the original size.
