this flag can be used when one routing daemon wants to force his route to be injected prioritary with other routes, including selected routes. for that, do not forget to update the new_selected pointer in the zebra nexthop tracking algorithm. FRRouting
FRR is free software that implements and manages various IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols. It runs on nearly all distributions of Linux and BSD as well as Solaris and supports all modern CPU architectures.
