fe92f438ac The code line where judges if offset exceed the FTW work space boundary, in some special situations where there are so many records, the offset may happen to be just equal to FtwWorkSpaceSize. And then FtwHead will be updated to be outside of work space wrongly, and cause the system to hang in this driver.

31abeada42 Currently, CapsulePei assumes ScatterGatherList are all related. But, UEFI spec has no such requirement, ScatterGatherList may be standalone. So update CapsulePei to only ignore the invalid ScatterGatherList, and still keep the valid ScatterGatherList.

240bc4ee8f Make sure CapsuleImage size is equal or less than DataBlock Size. And when copy the Capsule data from DataBlock to the continuous memory, CapsuleImage size should be used instead of DataBlock.

4694dd1ba8 DestPtr may point to the lower aligned address in the free memory region (FreeMemBase, FreeMemBase + FreeMemSize), the free memory region may be updated to override the private signature. So update FreeMemSize to avoid the potential overlap.

4233bf7066 Enhance SmbiosDxe driver: 
1. If string length exceeds 65535 bytes, return error. So infinite loop will not happen because of UINTN overflow.
2. When a SMBIOS entry is added or updated, check if the total length of SMBIOS table exceeds 65535 bytes, if it happens, return error.

Contributions.txt documents the contribution process for all
tianocore projects. The conents of Contributions.txt should
match in all cases.

License.txt is a per-project document showing the license terms

58727f29ea Introduce tow non-blocking task lists to AtaBus. One maintains the sub-task which is related to running Ata Task and the other is for waiting Ata Task. And it will not pass any task to AtaAtapiPassThru until the previous Ata task has been finished or met error.

5a169fca47 MdeModulePkg/DebugPortDxe: Fixed the ordering of the EFI_DEBUGPORT_PROTOCOL entries 
The DebugPortRead and DebugPortWrite entries are reversed in the initialization
of the EFI_DEBUGPORT_PROTOCOL structure (compare to the EFI_DEBUGPORT_PROTOCOL
definition and the UEFI spec).

9c9225255d MdeModulePkg: When media_change happens at Partition.Start(), the lower driver (ScsiDisk) should immediately return EFI_MEDIA_CHANGE but not EFI_SUCCESS. This way is used to avoid the interrupted Partition.Start() closes those opened protocols(DiskIo and DevicePath protocol) who are using by the re-entered partition driver at the same handle.

3a4e7a3e73 Per UEFI spec, on CallBack action EFI_BROWSER_ACTION_CHANGING, the return value of ActionRequest will be ignored, but on CallBack action EFI_BROWSER_ACTION_CHANGED, the return value of ActionRequest will be used. 
But, EDKII browser still processes the got ActionRequest. And, all HII drivers in EDKII project also returns their expected ActionRequest value on action EFI_BROWSER_ACTION_CHANGING. 
Now update the browser to follow the spec, and update all core Hii drivers to keep old working modal.

Update for MdeModulePkg.

d65502601e MdeModulePkg/Variable: Check if there is a NV Variable Storage header prior to use its attributes 
The Variable PEI and RuntimeDxe drivers were using the attribute 'HeaderLength' of
EFI_FIRMWARE_VOLUME_HEADER without checking if a Firmware Volume Header was existing at
the base address.
In case the Firmware Volume Header does not exist or is corrupted, the attribute 'HeaderLength'
is a non valid value that can lead to a non valid physical address when accessing produces an
access error.

da38df1d09 MdeModulePkg DXE Core: Refine code to avoid UNIXGCC build break. 
The UNIXGCC compiler generates an internal call for division operation when compiling CoreInternalWaitForTick(), which causes build break due to link failure. This check-in changes the implementation of CoreInternalWaitForTick() to avoid this case.

6b4483cdbd MdeModulePkg: The patch eliminates two assumptions 
1) XHCI host controller hw always provides more than 5 interrupters.
Now using interrupter 0 to accommodate all received events.
2) XHCI host controller hw always provides 32bytes context size.
Now it dynamically detect context size and construct it.

also solved several issues:
1) Divides 64byte width register access to two 32bit registers access because some XHCI chipsets cannot support a single 64bit access.
2) Remove halt host controller statement in UsbBusDriverBindingStop(). It has been done by host controller’s DriverBindingStop(). And XhciDriverBindingStop() need XHCI host controller is in running state because it need execute DISABLE_SLOT cmd to release h/w resource.

795bb9b6c4 1. According to PI errata 0000840 and PI 1.2c Vol 3 3.2.3, remove description rows that start with a Required Alignment (bytes) of 2, 4, and 8. 
2. In PeiFfsFvPpiGetFileInfo(), FileHeader->Attributes needs to be converted to EFI_FV_FILE_ATTRIBUTES from EFI_FFS_FILE_ATTRIBUTES before it is assigned to FileInfo->FileAttributes.
3. Set EFI_FV_FILE_ATTRIB_FIXED and EFI_FV_FILE_ATTRIB_MEMORY_MAPPED bits for EFI_FV_FILE_ATTRIBUTES based on the FFS file and FV image.

4659816a41 According to PI errata 0000654 and 000811, we need use 0xFFFE to instead of 0 for EFI_SMBIOS_PROTOCOL.Add() SmbiosHandle parameter to assign a unique handle to the SMBIOS record, and for EFI_SMBIOS_PROTOCOL.GetNext() SmbiosHandle parameter to get the first matched SMBIOS handle or indicate no more SMBIOS record.

1.	move the non-blocking task related setting ahead to store the MapTable and PageCount in case there is a IO operation error happened then the error handler code could use those information to release the resource.
2.	Enlarge the TPL protective area to make sure the simulative delay time is accurate when there is mixing usage of Non blocking and blocking I/O.

1. Boost IDE mode boot when slave device is absent.
2. Use D2H FIS to check if the PIO OUT/DMA IN/DMA OUT transfer is finished or error happened. ATA PIO IN has special check as it may just receive PIO SETUP FIS for success case.
3. Add command status register check for IDE DMA transfer.
4. ScsiDiskReadCapacity() in ScsiDisk should return EFI_SUCCESS if SENSE Data request is success.

b2e444aaf7 When browser was requested to go to another formset, it also needs to update the hiihandle in Selection structure. If not update this handle, later when call function GetIfrBinaryData to get binary ifr data will return failed.

b9b5e3078d Remove hard code video resolution in C code and use PCD PcdVideoHorizontalResolution/PcdVideoVerticalResolution for customization. And when PcdConOutRow/PcdConOutColumn and PcdVideoHorizontalResolution/PcdVideoVerticalResolution are all set to 0, the console will be max video resolution and max text mode.

c86b273d90 Grub4Dos copies the BPB of the first partition to the MBR. If the DriverBindingStart() of the Fat driver gets run before that of Partition driver only the first partition can be recognized. 
Let the driver binding version of Partition driver be higher than that of Fat driver to make sure the DriverBindingStart() of the Partition driver gets run before that of Fat driver so that all the partitions can be recognized.

30d636c8d9 AsciiSPrint returns The number of ASCII characters in the produced output buffer not including the Null-terminator, but SerialStatusCodeWorker has bug which overwrites the last character, which causes there is a missing character in serial log output. The fix is to resolve this issue.

d4a78455c6 Add a GUIDed HOB to init Debug Print error level earlier in DXE. Add NULL PEIM library to init HOB. 
Debug Print Error level can be controled by an EFI variable. Update the DXE version of the library to use a HOB if the variable services are not yet availilbe. This allows the variable to be used early in the DXE phase.

a93e23f9ed MdeModulePkg PCI Bus Driver: Add more checks before dispatching an EFI PCI Option ROM image. 
* Check if the machine type of the image is supported by the current UEFI system.
* Ignore the image if it is an EFI application as required by the UEFI spec.

5c5afa7265 Remove EFI_USER_INFO_ACCESS_SETUP_ADMIN_GUID definition from MdeModulePkg, because it has been defined in MdePkg. 
And, keep its definition into MdeModulePkg/Universal/DriverSampleDxe/Vfr.vfr to let VFR file consume it.

c8ad2d7a29 Clean up the private GUID definition in module Level. 
0. Remove the unused private GUID from module source files.
1. Use gEfiCallerIdGuid replace of the private module GUID.
2. Add the public header files to define HII FormSet and PackageList GUID used in every HII driver.
3. Move two EBC protocols for debug purpose from EBC driver to MdeModulePkg Include directory.
