If the different token with the same PCD names are used in the driver,
build can pass. If the different token with the same PCD name are used
in the different library, then the driver build will fail. The reason
is that the driver autogen.c is not generated correctly for the second
case. BaseTools should check the duplicated PCD name is the driver and
its linked libraries.

The case is the Pcd item both used in 1 module inf and 1 lib inf, and
in the DSC component section, it override the Pcd value.
In the module, the pcd value is the override value, but in the lib inf
the pcd value is the value that in the DSC PCD section's value, then it
cause the Pcd value is different in the module and lib. but actually we
only need use the Pcd value in the module to decide whether it use the
same value.

Adds support for the following X64 ELF relocations to GenFw
R_X86_64_GOTPCREL
R_X86_64_GOTPCRELX
R_X86_64_REX_GOTPCRELX
Background:
The GCC49 and GCC5 toolchains use the small pie model for X64. In the
small pie model, gcc emits a GOTPCREL relocation whenever C code takes
the address of a global function. The emission of GOTPCREL is mitigated
by several factors
1. In GCC49, all global symbols are declared hidden thereby eliminating
the emission of GOTPCREL.
2. In GCC5, LTO is used. In LTO, the complier first creates intermediate
representation (IR) files. During the static link stage, the LTO compiler
combines all IR files as a single compilation unit, using linker symbol
assistance to generate code. Any global symbols defined in the IR that
are not referenced from outside the IR are converted to local symbols -
thereby eliminating the emission of GOTPCREL for them.
3. The linker (binutils ld) further transforms any GOTPCREL used with
the movq opcode to a direct rip-relative relocation used with the leaq
opcode. This linker optimization can be disabled with the option
-Wl,--no-relax. Furthermore, gcc is able to emit GOTPCREL with other
opcodes
- pushq opcode for passing arguments to functions.
- addq/subq opcodes for pointer arithmetic.
These other opcode uses are not transformed by the linker.
Ultimately, in GCC5 there are some emissions of GOTPCREL that survive
all these mitigations - if C code takes the address of a global function
defined in assembly code - and performs pointer arithmetic on the
address - then the GOTPCREL remains in the final linker product.
A GOTPCREL relocation today causes the build to stop since GenFw does
not handle them. It is possible to eliminate any remaining GOTPCREL
emissions by manually declaring the global symbols causing them to have
hidden visibility. This patch is offered instead to allow GenFw to
handle any residual GOTPCREL.

The case is a PCD used in one library only, and in DSC component
section the PCD value is override in one of module inf. Then it cause

Per PEP237(*), 'long' is unified with 'int' and removed from python3.
* To make the script compatible with both python2 and python3,
'type(0L)' is replaced with 'type(sys.maxsize + 1)'. In python2,
the number is 'long', while it's 'int' in python3. We can remove
the workaround after moving to python3 completely.
* long() is replaced with int() since int() returns a long when need.

When using Linaro GCC5+ arm-eabi toolchain on Windows, the generated
DSDT.iii contains a canonicalized ("\.\" removed and lower case)
filepath for the preprocessed DSDT.i file in the first line.
Trim.exe is called on DSDT.iii to generate DSDT.iiii, which does a
line for line comparison of filepaths encountered to the preprocessed
DSDT.i filepath found in the first line to determine what lines to
place in DSDT.iiii. Since the DSDT.i filepath is canonicalized and
all later filepaths in DSDT.iii are not canonicalized, all comparisons
fail and the result is in an empty DSDT.iiii.
Issue was first reported to Linaro here:
https://bugs.linaro.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2909
where the recommendation was to address the issue in Trim.exe.
This patch normalizes the case and pathname of all filepaths
encountered during Trim.exe execution on preprocessed files. This
fixes comparisons of filepaths that contain mismatching case on
case-insensitive filesystems, redundant separators, and uplevel
references.

The DSC and FDF file can use `!error` statement. The argument of this
statement is an error message, it causes build tool to stop at the
location where the statement is encountered and error message following
the `!error` statement is output as a message.

For case-insensitive file systems, edk2 String.py collides with the
Python string.py, which results in build errors. This,for example,
applies to building via the Windows Subsystem for Linux from a
DriveFS file system. This patch renames String to StringUtils to
prevent conflicts for case-insensitive file systems.

The EvaluateConditional function should not call GetRealFileLine
because this is already done in Warning init and only needs to be
calculated in the event of a parsing failure. This fix stops

Commit 88252a90d1 changed ValueChain
from a dict to a set, but also changed the (former) key type from a
touple to two separate values, which was probably unintended and also
breaks build for packages involving Structured PCDs, because add()
only takes one argument.
This commit changes the values back to touples.

Per DSC spec 3.11 [Components] Sections:
The PCD access methods (and storage methods) are selected on a platform
basis - it is not permitted to have a PCD listed in one of the Pcd
sections and use it differently in an individual module. For example,
if a PCD is listed in a [PcdsFixedAtBuild] section, it is not permitted
to list it in a <PcdsPatchableInModule> sub-section of an INF file.
but current code doesn't report error for this case.

Add function _INIT_OPHDR_COND () for variable initialization.
Make code logic more clean.
Previously _CLEAR_SAVED_OPHDR () is used for variable
initialization, and we updated it to clean memory.
But _CLEAR_SAVED_OPHDR () is still called for variable
initialization. This will cause uninitialized pointer
will be checked to free and cause unexpected issue.
This patch is to add new function for variable initialization
and keep _CLEAR_SAVED_OPHDR () to clean memory which is
aligned with its function name.

Commit eece4292ac changed a variable name, which was tied directly to
a config file entry. This seperates the internal variable names from
the config file entries by having the internal dict accessed through a
translation of key words.
added a test when this is run straight from command line.

currently GUID packing and pack size determination is spread
throughout the code. This introduces a shared function and dict and
routes all code paths through them.

1. when inf file is binary module, not generate makefile,
so need generate ffs with previous method.
2. generate Ui section maybe override and the string is not
$(MODULE_NAME)

3. Trim generate incorrect Offset.raw when some vfr not generate .lst

Issue:
genfds-multi-thread create makefile before section file generation,
so it get alignment is zero from empty file. It is incorrect.
solution:

When the Pcd defined in components section, its value's size is larger
than the value's size in [pcd] section, it cause build error, because

when driver link library and there have pcd override in DSC component
section, in the library autogen file, the pcd's size is incorrect, the
size value is from DSC [pcd] section, but not from the override pcd

sha256 is not the standard option. It should be replaced by sha -sha256.
Otherwise, it doesn't work in MAC OS.
In V2, update the option to sha1 -sha256.
In late openssl version >= 1.1, there is no sha option, but has sha1,sha256.
In previous openssl version < 1.1, there is no sha256, but has sha,sha1.
To work with all openssl version, use sha1 -sha256 for it.

Current code will generate maxsize for HII type PCD when parser DSC

when VOID* type non-structure pcd used in --pcd, and its max size is not
specified in DSC or its value is hex value, build break due to the code
int(Pcd.MaxDatumSize,10).

I recently added the gcc-8 specific "-Wno-stringop-truncation" and
"-Wno-restrict" options to BUILD_CFLAGS, both for "Darwin" (XCODE5 /
clang, OSX) and otherwise (gcc, Linux / Cygwin).
I also regression-tested the change with gcc-4.8 on Linux -- gcc-4.8 does
not know either of the (gcc-8 specific) "-Wno-stringop-truncation" and
"-Wno-restrict" options, yet the build completed fine (by GCC design).
Regarding OSX, my expectation was that
- XCODE5 / clang would either recognize these warnings options (because
clang does recognize most -W options of gcc),
- or, similarly to gcc, clang would simply ignore the "-Wno-xxx" flags
that it didn't recognize.
Neither is the case; the new flags have broken the BaseTools build on OSX.
Revert them (for OSX only).

source argument, the destination pointer is moved back towards the
beginning of the destination buffer by the same amount (and this amount is
range-checked first, so we can't precede the start of the dest buffer).
Replace both strncpy() calls with memcpy().

The right way to fix the warning would be to implement string concat with
snprintf(). However, Microsoft does not appear to support snprintf()
before VS2015

so we just have to shut up the warning. The strncat() calls flagged above
are valid BTW.

Per UEFI spec, FibreEx.WWN, FibreEx.Lun, SasEx.Address, SasEx.Lun
and iSCSI.Lun are all 8-byte array with byte #0 in the left.
It means "0102030405060708" should be converted to:
UINT8[8] = {01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08}
or UINT64 = {0807060504030201}
Today's implementation wrongly uses the reversed order.
The patch fixes this issue by using StrHexToBytes().

The root cause is the byte array value in the driver Pcd, some bytes
have additional space character, while the value in DSC file doesn't
have this space, it cause the string compare return false, so we remove
the extra space.

When generate build report, Tool will get the info like size, Fv Name,
etc from the xx.Fv.txt file and add these info into the build report.
This patch support the xx.Fv.txt to use absolute file path format since
user may provide specified FV path.

The case is: define a VOID* pcd in DEC file, eg: Value is {0x1}.
then override this PCD on DSC component section, eg: Value is
{0x1, 0x2, 0x3}, the max size of this PCD is calculate wrong
which cause build error.

Use 2 passes when evaluating PCD values to discover
all the LABEL() operators and compute the byte offset
of each LABEL(). The 2nd pass then has the information
to replace the OFFSET_OF() operator with the computed
byte offset. The 2 passes allows OFFSET_OF() to be used
before a LABEL() is declared.

Original VOID* type support L"string" and "string" format, now we also
add support for single quote string that without null terminator.
Type VOID* support L'a' and 'a', the value transfer to c style value.
L'a' --> {0x61, 0x00}
L'ab' --> {0x61, 0x00, 0x62, 0x00}
'a' --> {0x61}
'ab' --> {0x61, 0x62}
when the value is L'' or '' that not include any character, tool will
report error.

Spec required for VOID* VPD Pcd, Ascii string use byte alignment, byte

I was getting `HOST_ARCH` set using the linux arch name ("x86_64"), which
is different from the MS one ("X64").
It is not clear anyway we can proceed without valid build variables
(`ARCH_INCLUDE`, `BIN_PATH`, `LIB_PATH`, `SYS_BIN_PATH`, and
`SYS_LIB_PATH`).

In addition, the print_mem() function does not conform to the edk2 coding
style:
- we use CamelCase and no underscores in identifiers,
- the types and type qualifiers should follow the edk2 style,
- initialization as part of definition is forbidden for local variables.
Clean these up.
While updating the print_mem()/PrintMem() call sites, also remove the
superfluous parentheses around the second argument.

clang generates many warnings
warning: field 'XXX' is uninitialized when used here [-Wuninitialized]
for VfrFormPkg.h.
VfrFormPkg.h defines many classes derived from CIfrObj (along with other
base classes.)
Each of these derived classes defines a non-static member field that serves
as a duplicate pointer to an original pointer defined in the CIfrObj base
class, but cast to a different pointer type.
The derived class constructor passes the duplicate pointer to base class
constructors:
1) Once passes the address of the duplicate pointer to the CIfrObj
constructor to have it initialized.
2) Then passes the duplicate pointer to one or more subsequent base class
constructors to be used.
Both 1) and 2) constitute undefined behavior in C++. C++ prescribes that
base classes are initialized before non-static members when initializing a
derived class. So when base class constructors are executing, it is not
permitted to assume any non-static members of the derived class exist (even
to the stage of having their storage allocated.)
clang does not issue warnings for 1), but issues warnings -Wuninitialized
for 2).
This coding methodology is resolved as follows:
a) The CIfrObj object accessor method for retrieving the original pointer
is revised to a template member function that returns the original
pointer cast to a desired target type.
b) The call to CIfrObj constructor is no longer used to initialize the
duplicate pointer in the derived class.
c) Any subsequent calls to a base class constructor that need to use the
pointer, retrieve it from the CIfrObj base class using the template
accessor method.
d) If the derived class makes no further use of the pointer, then the
duplicate pointer defined in it is eliminated.
e) If the derived class needs the duplicate pointer for other use, the
duplicate pointer remains in the derived class and is initialized in
proper order from the original pointer in CIfrObj.
f) Existing source code that previously used the CIfrObj pointer accessor
method is revised to use the template method.

We meet a case that different FV use same FILE statement Guid, but the
FILE content is different. current we use the Guid value as Ffs file
dir which cause the ffs file will be override. This patch use Guid
value and Fv name as ffs dir for FILE statement.

BaseTools will generate the optimized PCD database to save the image size
at build time for multiple SKUs. The optimized PCD database layout will be like
below, the PCD database will be composed of the full default SKU data
(PCD_DATABASE_INIT) and the non-default SKU delta data(PCD_DATABASE_SKU_DELTA).
PCD driver will build HOB to store the full default SKU data, and patch HOB
data based on non-default SKU delta data for the SKU set by SetSku(),
it can save memory resource at boot time.

As a workaround for the static code checkers, enlarge the size of the
string buffer 'AlignmentBuffer' so that it can hold all the digits of an
unsigned 32-bit integer plus the size unit character (e.g. 'M' & 'K').

BaseTools' BaseTypes.h defined the ENCODE_ERROR macro as
#define ENCODE_ERROR(a) ((RETURN_STATUS)(MAX_BIT | (a)))
whereas MdePkg defines it as
#define ENCODE_ERROR(StatusCode) ((RETURN_STATUS)(MAX_BIT | (StatusCode)))
When building with GCC 6.3 (at least) the former triggers
"error: overflow in implicit constant conversion [-Werror=overflow]"
Resolve this by aligning it with the latter one.
This also requires aligning the BaseTools typedef of RETURN_STATUS with
the MdePkg one: INTN -> UINTN.
While at it, update adjacent ENCODE_WARNING and RETURN_ERROR as well.
Add an explicit initialization of *Alignment to 0 in GenFfs.c
GetAlignmentFromFile to get rid of a warning occuring with GCC after
this change (-Werror=maybe-uninitialized).

After GNUmakefile dependency is fixed up, it can make with -j N to enable
multiple thread build in base tools C source and save build time.
In my linux host machine, make -j 4 to compile BaseTools and save ~60% time.

The root cause is Module's self.CanSkip() is before LibraryAutoGen,
then when a uni file of library is changed, Module's self.CanSkip() is
still true which cause the library is not regenerated.

Question value are stored in one specified storage, but the Data type
of the storage is not specified or there is no sub fields in the Data
type sometimes, so we need to add check before using related pointers.
Here list some NULL cases:
(1)For an efivastore which doesn't specify a data structure or a
data type(UINT8,UINT16...)as the storage, just has VarName and
VarSize instead, we can not get its data type before parsing
its VarSize.
(2)For efivastore which just specifies the data type(UINT8,UINT16...)
not a structure as the storage,this data type doesn't have sub-fields.

The bug is for build output files it still use mws.join function, it
cause maybe we will get the build output files in the PACKAGES_PATH
because mws.join will try WORKSPACE first, if the file doesn't exist
then try PACKAGES_PATH. But for build output, we expected it should
relative to WORKSPACE.

current in FDF spec 3.6 [FV] section it use "FV_EXT_ENTRY_TYPE" as

current the PCD value in DSC file may be override by FDF file, then it
cause the 'DSC DEFAULT' in build report wrongly display the FDF value
but not the DSC file's value.
This patch add a attribute DscDefaultValue for PcdClassObject to save
the actual DSC file's PCD value and use this value to display for 'DSC
DEFAULT'.

Add three new options:
--hash enables hash-based caching during build process. when --hash is
enabled, build tool will base on the module hash value to do the
incremental build, without --hash, build tool will base on the
timestamp to do the incremental build. --hash option use md5 method to
get every hash value, DSC/FDF, tools_def.txt, build_rule.txt and build
command are calculated as global hash value, Package DEC and its
include header files are calculated as package hash value, Module
source files and its INF file are calculated as module hash value.
Library hash value will combine the global hash value and its dependent
package hash value. Driver hash value will combine the global hash
value, its dependent package hash value and its linked library hash
value.
When --hash and --binary-destination are specified, build tool will
copy generated binary files for each module into the directory specified
by binary-destination at the build phase. Binary-destination directory
caches all generated binary files.
When --hash and --binary-source are specified, build tool will try to
get the binary files from the binary source directory at the build
phase.If the cached binary has the same hash value, it will be directly
used. Otherwise, build tool will compile the source files and generate
the binary files.

We met a case that use two microcode files in the Microcode.inf file,
one is .mcb file, another is .txt file. then it cause build failure
because the SourceFileList include the .txt file's output file, while
this output file is still not be generated, so it cause
GetFileDependency report failure.

This is a patch to implement writing and dumping of PCI 3.0 Device ID
lists in EFI option ROMs in the EfiRom tool.
Using this modification, multiple space-delimited device IDs can be
specified after -i. The first device in the list is used for the main
PCI ROM header Device ID field and is also written in the list. The
list is only written when more than one device ID has been specified;
when only one device ID is given on the command line, the EfiRom output
should be identical to the current code.

These fields are actually a GUID and DWORD respectively: the GUID identifies
the PDB to make it possible to verify that a given PDB matches the PE file,
and the DWORD is the "age" of the PDB which is simply a helper value that is
incremented by 1 by the linker every time the file is remade. Wiping the
GUID will cause PDB parsers (such as the MS DIA SDK that IDA and most other
tools use) to treat the PDB as a mismatch and refuse to load it.

it is a bug in mtoc setting the size of the debug directory entry to
the size of the .debug section, not the size of the
EFI_IMAGE_DEBUG_DIRECTORY_ENTRY. It was causing a loop to iterate and
get bogus EFI_IMAGE_DEBUG_DIRECTORY_ENTRY data and pass that to
memset() and boom.

We set Pcd value in FDF and used this Pcd as PatchableInModule type in
module, it cause build report generate failure. because we incorrectly
set the Pcd type during check whether the Pcd is used.

This patch verifies MM_CORE_STANDALONE module compatibility with PI
specification version.
Also, it registers MM_STANDALONE/MM_CORE_STANDALONE modules with
FdfParser class and provides mapping between MM_STANDALONE and
MM_CORE_STANDALONE module type in FDF with
EFI_FV_FILETYPE_MM_STANDALONE and EFI_FV_FILETYPE_MM_CORE_STANDALONE file types

This patch adds changes to auto generate MM_CORE_STANDALONE and
MM_STANDALONE Entry Point templates.
Also, it adds changes to help auto generate dependency expressions for
MM_STANDALONE modules.
PI Specification v1.5 specifies Management Mode System Table (MMST)
which is a collection of common services for managing
MMRAM allocation and providing basic I/O services. MMST is similar to
the UEFI System Table. (Currently, EFI_SMM_SYSTEM_TABLE2 defines
Management Mode System Table)
Some of auto generated MM_CORE_STANDALONE and MM_STANDALONE template
APIs use MMST as parameter.

PI v1.5 Specification Volume 4 defines Management Mode Core Interface.
In order to support Management Mode Core Interface, Module Types

Currently, the PE/COFF conversion routines in GenFw add a so-called
NB10 CodeView debug record to the image, and update the associated
directory entry in the PE/COFF optional header to contain its relative
virtual address (RVA) and size.
However, there are two levels of indirection at work here: the actual
NB10 CodeView record (which is simply a magic number and some unused
data fields followed by the NUL terminated filename) is emitted
separately, and a separate descriptor is emitted that identifies the
NB10 CodeView record as type EFI_IMAGE_DEBUG_TYPE_CODEVIEW, and records
its size. The directory entry in the PE/COFF optional header should
refer to this intermediate descriptor's address and size only, but
the WriteDebug## () routines in GenFw erroneously record the size of
both the descriptor and the NB10 CodeView record.
This problem was exposed by commit e4129b0e58 ("BaseTools: Update
GenFw to clear unused debug entry generated by VS tool chain",
2017-06-19), and GenFw now crashes when it attempts to iterate over
what it thinks are multiple intermediate descriptors for different
kinds of debug data embedded in the image.
The error is understandable, given that both are carved out of the
same file space allocation, but this is really an implementation detail
of GenFw, and is not required. (Note that the intermediate descriptor
does not require a RVA and so it does not even need to be inside a
section)
So omit the size of the NB10 CodeView record from the size recorded
in the optional header.

Fix a Incremental build failure. The case is: Both A and B package will
include a same .h file, and in the driver's packages section, A
package is listed before B package, so we will use the .h file in the A
package and build success, then we directly delete the .h file in package
A, it cause increment build failure since in the AutoGenTimeStamp file
the .h file in A can't be found.

The old TestRoot certificate used for Pkcs7Sign is not compliant to
Root CA certificate requirement with incorrect basic constraints and
key usage setting.
When OpenSSL in CryptoPkg was updated from 1.0.2xx to the latest
1.1.0xx, the CA certificate checking was enforced for more extension
validations, which will raise the verification failure when stilling
using the old sample certificates.
This patch re-generated one set of test certificates used in
Pkcs7Sign demo, and updated the corresponding Readme.md to describe
how to set the options in openssl configuration file.

[Introduction]
The BaseTool Build.py AutoGen parse INF meta-file and generate
AutoGen.c/AutoGen.h/makefile. When we only change .c .h code, the
AutoGen might be not necessary, but Build.py spend a lot of time on it.
There's a -u flag to skip all module's AutoGen. In my environment, it save
35%~50% of time in rebuild a ROM.
However, if user change one .INF meta-file, then -u flag is not available.
[Idea]
AutoGen can compare meta-file's timestamp and decide if the module's
AutoGen can be skipped. With this, when a module's INF is changed, we
only run this module's AutoGen, we don't need to run other module's.
[Implementation]
In the end of a module's AutoGen, we create a AutoGenTimeStamp.
The file save a file list that related to this module's AutoGen.
In other word, the file list in AutoGenTimeStamp is INPUT files of
module AutoGen, AutoGenTimeStamp file is OUTPUT.
During rebuild, we compare time stamp between INPUT and OUTPUT, and
decide if we can skip it.
Below is the Input/Output of a module's AutoGen.
[Input]
1. All the DSC/DEC/FDF used by the platform.
2. Macro and PCD defined by Build Options such as "build -D AAA=TRUE
--pcd BbbPcd=0".
3. INF file of a module.
4. Source files of a module, list in [Sources] section of INF.
5. All the library link by the module.
6. All the .h files included by the module's sources.
[Output]
AutoGen.c/AutoGen.h/makefile/AutoGenTimeStamp
[Testing]
This patch save my build time. When I make a change without touching
DSC/DEC/FDF, it is absolutely much faster than original rebuild,
35%~50% time saving in my environment
(compare to original tool rebuild time).
If I change any DSC/DEC/FDF, there's no performance improve, because it
can't skip any module's AutoGen.
Please note that if your environment will generate DSC/FDF during prebuild,
it will not skip any AutoGen because of DSC timestamp is changed. This will
require prebuild script not to update metafile when content is not changed.
When the FV size is specify in the FD region, Tool generate the FV file
may not use the correct size.

In batch script file NmakeSubdirs.bat, the value changes made to the
variable 'TOOL_ERROR' within the 'setlocal...endlocal' block will not be
reflected in the return value of the script. A value of 0 will always be
returned. Thus, the script will not reflect the result of the 'nmake'
command correctly when building BaseTool source codes.

Function snprintf() is not supported in Visual Studio 2013 or older
version. The commit replaces the use of snprintf() with sprintf() to avoid
build failure for VS compilers.

This patch is to update BaseTools generate Fixed PCD APIs and Value into
$(MODULE_NAME)StrDefs.h for VFR only. If the module has VFR files, and it
directly consumes FixedAtBuild PCD, BaseTool will generate those
FixedAtBuild PCD value into its $(MODULE_NAME)StrDefs.h. FixedPcdGetXX
macro are always generated. Every FixedPcd _PCD_VALUE_PcdName will be
generated without the postfix U or UL or ULL.

Current it only support the system environment variables in the !include

Fix the bug for RAW file to support Align=32 and Align=64. Current FDF

For GCC compilers, when building with option '-fshort-wchar', wide char
string format '%ls' does not work properly for printf() function. The
string specified by '%ls' will not be printed.
This commit avoids using '%ls' for printf() function and converts the wide
char string to char string for printing.

Commit 2cb8743524 eliminates possible NULL
pointer dereference in GenFfs tool source codes. However, it doesn't
correctly handle the case when the input file is of size 0. This will lead
to possible build issues.

Class DLGInputStream defined in DLexerBase.h has a virtual method but no
virtual destructor.
This commit add an empty virtual destructor to avoid potential
memory/resource leak when an object of a class derived from class

For classes that contain dynamically allocated data members, copy
constructor and assignment operator should be implemented or both
operations should be prohibited to avoid freeing freed memory caused by
shallow copy.
This commit declares both copy constructor and assignment operator as
'private' for classes that contain dynamically allocated data members.
This will prevent freeing already freed memory.

Current the regex for the symbol in the map file doesn't support the '<'
and '>' character, while user use Lambda Expression (C++11 feature), it
would generate the something like @V<lambda_xxx>@ in the map file which
cause build fail to parse the symbol in map file.

When path is too long, build tool will wrap them into resp.txt, then call
gcc @resp.txt. It will cause windows GCC build failure, because resp.txt
still uses windows directory separator \. This patch change the \ to /.

New version LZMA SDK improves the compression performance on windows OS,
and has no change on the compression ratio. I compress 8M FVMAIN image,
the compression time is reduced from 2.590s to 1.419s.

os.environ contains all environment variables uppercase on Windows which
cause the key in the self.MacroDictionary is uppercase, but the real
variable name maybe mixed case, eg:WINSDK81x86, then we can't find the
variable in the self.MacroDictionary.

When *.IDF file contains multiple definitions of image which point to the
same image, current build tool generates multiple image blocks which
contain the same image content.
This patch enhance tool to generate EFI_HII_IIBT_DUPLICATE image blocks
for non-first images for such case, to save the HII package size.

The WIN_CERTIFICATE_UEFI_GUID AuthInfo defined in the UEFI spec
mentioned that It is a signature across the image data and the
Monotonic Count value. After clarification, we do the signature
calculation, we put MonotonicCount after Payload.

BaseTools add support to generating image package from BMP/JPEG/PNG
files.
1) New file type *.idf Image definition file to describe HII image
resource. It is the ASCII text file, and includes one or more "#image
IMAGE_ID [TRANSPARENT] ImageFileName".
2) New IMAGE_TOKEN macro is used to refer to IMAGE_ID.
3) New AutoGen header file $(MODULE_NAME)ImgDefs.h to include the
generated ImageId definition.
4) New $(MODULE_NAME)Idf.hpk or $(MODULE_NAME)Images are generated
as the output binary HII image package.

We meet a case that add the library inf file which has the uni file in
the [Sources] section, for this case there will no map file exist, it

Current BaseTools follow previous PI spec to use UINT8 for SkuId, to
follow PI1.4a, BaseTools need to be updated to fix artificial limitation
of PCD SkuId range.
This patch is to update BaseTools to use UINT64 for SkuId, since the
PCD database structure needs to be naturally aligned, the PCD database
structure layout is adjusted to keep the natural alignment and version
is updated to 6.
Note: As the PCD database structure layout is adjusted, the structure
definition in MdeModulePkg/Include/Guid/PcdDataBaseSignatureGuid.h and
PCD drivers also need to be updated. That means the source code and
BaseTools need to be upgraded at the same time, and if they are not
upgraded at the same time, build error like below will be triggered
to help user identify the problem.
"Please make sure the version of PCD PEIM Service and the generated
PCD PEI Database match."

change the 'r+b' to 'rb' for some file's open, since these files we only
read it and no need to write. It can fix the bug that the file's attribute
had been set to read-only.

Per UEFI spec UpdateImageSize may or may not include Firmware Image
Authentication information. so for FMP auth capsule, UpdateImageSize

When building PIE (ET_DYN) executables, an additional RELA section is
emitted (in addition to the per-section .rela.text and .rela.data sections)
that is intended to be resolved at runtime by a ET_DYN compatible loader.
At the moment, due to the fact that we don't support GOT based relocations,
this dynamic RELA section only contains relocations that are redundant,
i.e., each R_xxx_RELATIVE relocation it contains duplicates a R_xxx_xx64
relocation appearing in .rela.text or .rela.data, and so we can simply
ignore this section (and we already ignore it in practice due to the fact
that it points to the NULL section, which has the SHF_ALLOC bit cleared).

Note that GOT based relocations result in entries that *only* appear in the
dynamic .rela section and not in .rela.text or .rela.data. This means two
things if we intend to add support for GOT based relocations:
- we must check that a dynamic RELA section exists;
- we must filter out duplicates between .rela and .rela.xxx, to prevent
emitting duplicate fixups into the PE/COFF .reloc section.

If PE image has no relocation section, and has not set RELOCS_STRIPPED,
after it is converted to TE image, GenFw will set its relocation section
VirtualAddress to non-zero address, and keep Size value as Zero. MdePkg
BasePeCoffLib applied this rule to get RelocationsStripped attribute. But,
it is missing in BaseTools BasePeCoffLib.

'COMMON' as CodeBase, while DSC spec allow this usage. This Patch add
support for such 'common.DXE_RUNTIME_DRIVER' as the Scope2 in the query

Current BaseTools cannot generate EFI_FIRMWARE_IMAGE_AUTHENTICATION
for FMP capsule. this patch fix it by FDF spec's update to add the
definition for CERTIFICATE_GUID and MONOTONIC_COUNT. BaseTools call
the tool by CERTIFICATE_GUID to generate the certdata and fill the header
info.
