This helps to prevent issues where a failed test can keep a bound
socket open long enough to cause other tests to fail with EADDRINUSE
because the same port number is used.

The only test with modifications is `test-stdin-child-proc` that was
passing when it should not because the exit code of the child process
was not being checked.
