0a7565ee6e Revert "selftests/mm: remove local __NR_* definitions"
This reverts commit a5c6bc5900.

The general approach described in commit e076eaca59 ("selftests: break
the dependency upon local header files") was taken one step too far here:
it should not have been extended to include the syscall numbers.  This is
because doing so would require per-arch support in tools/include/uapi, and
no such support exists.

This revert fixes two separate reports of test failures, from Dave
Hansen[1], and Li Wang[2].  An excerpt of Dave's report:

Before this commit (a5c6bc5900) things are
fine.  But after, I get:

	running PKEY tests for unsupported CPU/OS

28501aa13a selftests/mm: rename pkey register macro
PKEY_ALLOW_ALL is meant to represent the pkey register value that allows
all accesses (enables all pkeys).  However its current naming suggests
that the value applies to *one* key only (like PKEY_DISABLE_ACCESS for
instance).

Rename PKEY_ALLOW_ALL to PKEY_REG_ALLOW_ALL to avoid such
misunderstanding.  This is consistent with the PKEY_REG_ALLOW_NONE macro
introduced by commit 6e182dc9f2 ("selftests/mm: Use generic pkey
register manipulation").

50910acd6f selftests/mm: use sys_pkey helpers consistently
sys_pkey_alloc, sys_pkey_free and sys_mprotect_pkey are currently used in
protections_keys.c, while pkey_sighandler_tests.c calls the libc wrappers
directly (e.g.  pkey_mprotect()).  This is probably ok when using glibc
(those symbols appeared a while ago), but Musl does not currently provide
them.  The logging in the helpers from pkey-helpers.h can also come in
handy.

Make things more consistent by using the sys_pkey helpers in
pkey_sighandler_tests.c too.  To that end their implementation is moved to
a common .c file (pkey_util.c).  This also enables calling
is_pkeys_supported() outside of protections_keys.c, since it relies on
sys_pkey_{alloc,free}.

b0cc298487 selftests/mm: ensure non-global pkey symbols are marked static
The pkey tests define a whole lot of functions and some global variables. 
A few are truly global (declared in pkey-helpers.h), but the majority are
file-scoped.  Make sure those are labelled static.

Some of the pkey_{access,write}_{allow,deny} helpers are not called, or
only called when building for some architectures.  Mark them
__maybe_unused to suppress compiler warnings.

21309ac265 selftests/mm: ensure pkey-*.h define inline functions only
Headers should not define non-inline functions, as this prevents them from
being included more than once in a given program.  pkey-helpers.h and the
arch-specific headers it includes currently define multiple such
non-inline functions.

In most cases those functions can simply be made inline - this patch does
just that.  read_ptr() is an exception as it must not be inlined.  Since
it is only called from protection_keys.c, we just move it there.

    therefore not enable LAM causing faults in user space when using tagged
    pointers. Cure it by synchronizing LAM enablement via IPIs to all CPUs
    which use the related mm.
 
  - Cure a LAM harmless inconsistency between CR3 and the state during
    context switch. It's both confusing and prone to lead to real bugs
 
  - Handle alt stack handling for threads which run with a non-zero
    protection key. The non-zero key prevents the kernel to access the
    alternate stack. Cure it by temporarily enabling all protection keys for
    the alternate stack setup/restore operations.
 
  - Provide a EFI config table identity mapping for kexec kernel to prevent
    kexec fails because the new kernel cannot access the config table array
 
  - Use GB pages only when a full GB is mapped in the identity map as

f5b5ea51f7 selftests: mm: make protection_keys test work on arm64
The encoding of the pkey register differs on arm64, than on x86/ppc. On those
platforms, a bit in the register is used to disable permissions, for arm64, a
bit enabled in the register indicates that the permission is allowed.

This drops two asserts of the form:
	 assert(read_pkey_reg() <= orig_pkey_reg);
Because on arm64 this doesn't hold, due to the encoding.

The pkey must be reset to both access allow and write allow in the signal
handler. pkey_access_allow() works currently for PowerPC as the
PKEY_DISABLE_ACCESS and PKEY_DISABLE_WRITE have overlapping bits set.

Access to the uc_mcontext is abstracted, as arm64 has a different structure.

Add a few new tests to exercise the signal handler flow, especially with
PKEY 0 disabled:

 - Verify that the SIGSEGV handler is invoked when pkey 0 is disabled.

 - Verify that a thread which disables PKEY 0 segfaults with PKUERR when
   accessing the stack.

 - Verify that the SIGSEGV handler that uses an alternate signal stack is
   correctly invoked when the thread disabled PKEY 0

 - Verify that the PKRU value set by the application is correctly restored
   upon return from signal handling.

a5c6bc5900 selftests/mm: remove local __NR_* definitions
This continues the work on getting the selftests to build without
requiring people to first run "make headers" [1].

Now that the system call numbers are in the correct, checked-in locations
in the kernel tree (./tools/include/uapi/asm/unistd*.h), make sure that
the mm selftests include that file (indirectly).

Doing so provides guaranteed definitions at build time, so remove all of
the checks for "ifdef __NR_xxx" in the mm selftests, because they will
always be true (defined).

ed74abcd1d selftests: mm: protection_keys: save/restore nr_hugepages value from launch script
The save/restore of nr_hugepages was added to the test itself by using the
atexit() functionality.  But it is broken as parent exits after creating
child.  Hence calling the atexit() function early.  That's not it.  The
child exits after creating its child and so on.

The parent cannot wait to get the termination status for its children as
it'll keep on holding the resources until the new pkey allocation fails. 
It is impossible to wait for exits of all the grand and great grand
children.  Hence the restoring of nr_hugepages value from parent is wrong.

Let's save/restore the nr_hugepages settings in the launch script
instead of doing it in the test.

c52eb6db7b selftests: mm: restore settings from only parent process
The atexit() is called from parent process as well as forked processes. 
Hence the child restores the settings at exit while the parent is still
executing.  Fix this by checking pid of atexit() calling process and only
restore THP number from parent process.

4336cc15b9 selftests: use canonical ftrace path
The canonical location for the tracefs filesystem is at /sys/kernel/tracing.

But, from Documentation/trace/ftrace.rst:

  Before 4.1, all ftrace tracing control files were within the debugfs
  file system, which is typically located at /sys/kernel/debug/tracing.
  For backward compatibility, when mounting the debugfs file system,
  the tracefs file system will be automatically mounted at:

  /sys/kernel/debug/tracing

A few spots in tools/testing/selftests still refer to this older debugfs
path, so let's update them to avoid confusion.
