Set metadata size building the skb from xdp_buff in mvneta driver
mvneta sets xdp headroom to:

MVNETA_MH_SIZE + MVNETA_SKB_HEADROOM

where

MVNETA_MH_SIZE 2
MVNETA_SKB_HEADROOM max(NET_SKB_PAD, XDP_PACKET_HEADROOM)

so the headroom is large enough to contain xdp_frame and xdp metadata.

de38503b74 net: remove phylink_pcs .neg_mode boolean
As all PCS are using the neg_mode parameter rather than the legacy
an_mode, remove the ability to use the legacy an_mode. We remove the
tests in the phylink code, unconditionally passing the PCS neg_mode
parameter to PCS methods, and remove setting the flag from drivers.

ac79927dc8 net: mvneta: convert to phylink EEE implementation
Convert mvneta to use phylink's EEE implementation by implementing the
two LPI control methods, and adding the initial configuration and
capabilities.

Although disabling LPI requires clearing a single bit, for safety we
clear the manual mode and force bits to ensure that auto mode will be
used.

Enabling LPI needs a full configuration of several values, as the timer
values are dependent on the MAC operating speed, as per the original
code.

As Armada 388 states that EEE is only supported in "SGMII" modes, mark
this in lpi_interfaces. Testing with RGMII on the Clearfog platform
indicates that the receive path fails to detect LPI over RGMII.

413f0271f3 net: protect NAPI enablement with netdev_lock()
Wrap napi_enable() / napi_disable() with netdev_lock().
Provide the "already locked" flavor of the API.

iavf needs the usual adjustment. A number of drivers call
napi_enable() under a spin lock, so they have to be modified
to take netdev_lock() first, then spin lock then call
napi_enable_locked().

Protecting napi_enable() implies that napi->napi_id is protected
by netdev_lock().

e96321fad3 net: ethernet: Switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()
After commit 0edb555a65 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.

Convert all platform drivers below drivers/net/ethernet to use
.remove(), with the eventual goal to drop struct
platform_driver::remove_new(). As .remove() and .remove_new() have the
same prototypes, conversion is done by just changing the structure
member name in the driver initializer.

29cabacef1 net: mvneta: Use __be16 for l3_proto parameter of mvneta_txq_desc_csum()
The value passed as the l3_proto argument of mvneta_txq_desc_csum()
is __be16. And mvneta_txq_desc_csum uses this parameter as a __be16
value. So use __be16 as the type for the parameter, rather than
type with host byte order.

1eb2cded45 net: annotate writes on dev->mtu from ndo_change_mtu()
Simon reported that ndo_change_mtu() methods were never
updated to use WRITE_ONCE(dev->mtu, new_mtu) as hinted
in commit 501a90c945 ("inet: protect against too small
mtu values.")

We read dev->mtu without holding RTNL in many places,
with READ_ONCE() annotations.

It is time to take care of ndo_change_mtu() methods
to use corresponding WRITE_ONCE()

d80a523353 ethtool: replace struct ethtool_eee with a new struct ethtool_keee on kernel side
In order to pass EEE link modes beyond bit 32 to userspace we have to
complement the 32 bit bitmaps in struct ethtool_eee with linkmode
bitmaps. Therefore, similar to ethtool_link_settings and
ethtool_link_ksettings, add a struct ethtool_keee. In a first step
it's an identical copy of ethtool_eee. This patch simply does a
s/ethtool_eee/ethtool_keee/g for all users.
No functional change intended.

fb6e30a725 net: ethtool: pass a pointer to parameters to get/set_rxfh ethtool ops
The get/set_rxfh ethtool ops currently takes the rxfh (RSS) parameters
as direct function arguments. This will force us to change the API (and
all drivers' functions) every time some new parameters are added.

This is part 1/2 of the fix, as suggested in [1]:

- First simplify the code by always providing a pointer to all params
   (indir, key and func); the fact that some of them may be NULL seems
   like a weird historic thing or a premature optimization.
   It will simplify the drivers if all pointers are always present.

 - Then make the functions take a dev pointer, and a pointer to a
   single struct wrapping all arguments. The set_* should also take
   an extack.

First the page pool is only available if the bm is not used.
The page pool is also not allocated when the port is stopped.
It can also be not allocated in case of errors.

fee02f498c net: ethernet: marvell: Convert to platform remove callback returning void
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.
To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new() which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() is renamed to .remove().

Trivially convert these drivers from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

b51f4113eb net: introduce and use skb_frag_fill_page_desc()
Most users use __skb_frag_set_page()/skb_frag_off_set()/
skb_frag_size_set() to fill the page desc for a skb frag.

Introduce skb_frag_fill_page_desc() to do that.

net/bpf/test_run.c does not call skb_frag_off_set() to
set the offset, "copy_from_user(page_address(page), ...)"
and 'shinfo' being part of the 'data' kzalloced in
bpf_test_init() suggest that it is assuming offset to be
initialized as zero, so call skb_frag_fill_page_desc()
with offset being zero for this case.

Also, skb_frag_set_page() is not used anymore, so remove
it.

33f4cefb26 net: mvneta: allocate TSO header DMA memory in chunks
Now that we no longer need to check whether the DMA address is within
the TSO header DMA memory range for the queue, we can allocate the TSO
header DMA memory in chunks rather than one contiguous order-6 chunk,
which can stress the kernel's memory subsystems to allocate.

Instead, use order-1 (8k) allocations, which will result in 32 order-1
pages containing 32 TSO headers.

f00ba4f41a net: mvneta: use buf->type to determine whether to dma-unmap
Now that we use a different buffer type for TSO headers, we can use
buf->type to determine whether the original buffer was DMA-mapped or
not. The rules are:

	MVNETA_TYPE_XDP_TX - from a DMA pool, no unmap is required
	MVNETA_TYPE_XDP_NDO - dma_map_single()'d
	MVNETA_TYPE_SKB - normal skbuff, dma_map_single()'d
	MVNETA_TYPE_TSO - from the TSO buffer area

This means we only need to call dma_unmap_single() on the XDP_NDO and
SKB types of buffer, and we no longer need the private IS_TSO_HEADER()
which relies on the TSO region being contiguously allocated.

2960a2d33b net: mvneta: fix potential double-frees in mvneta_txq_sw_deinit()
Reported on the Turris forum, mvneta provokes kernel warnings in the
architecture DMA mapping code when mvneta_setup_txqs() fails to
allocate memory. This happens because when mvneta_cleanup_txqs() is
called in the mvneta_stop() path, we leave pointers in the structure
that have been freed.

Then on mvneta_open(), we call mvneta_setup_txqs(), which starts
allocating memory. On memory allocation failure, mvneta_cleanup_txqs()
will walk all the queues freeing any non-NULL pointers - which includes
pointers that were previously freed in mvneta_stop().

Fix this by setting these pointers to NULL to prevent double-freeing
of the same memory.

66c0e13ad2 drivers: net: turn on XDP features
A summary of the flags being set for various drivers is given below.
Note that XDP_F_REDIRECT_TARGET and XDP_F_FRAG_TARGET are features
that can be turned off and on at runtime. This means that these flags
may be set and unset under RTNL lock protection by the driver. Hence,
READ_ONCE must be used by code loading the flag value.

Also, these flags are not used for synchronization against the availability
of XDP resources on a device. It is merely a hint, and hence the read
may race with the actual teardown of XDP resources on the device. This
may change in the future, e.g. operations taking a reference on the XDP
resources of the driver, and in turn inhibiting turning off this flag.
However, for now, it can only be used as a hint to check whether device
supports becoming a redirection target.

cdd97383e1 net: mvneta: Fix an out of bounds check
In an earlier commit, I added a bounds check to prevent an out of bounds
read and a WARN().  On further discussion and consideration that check
was probably too aggressive.  Instead of returning -EINVAL, a better fix
would be to just prevent the out of bounds read but continue the process.

Background: The value of "pp->rxq_def" is a number between 0-7 by default,
or even higher depending on the value of "rxq_number", which is a module
parameter. If the value is more than the number of available CPUs then
it will trigger the WARN() in cpu_max_bits_warn().

e1f4ecab19 net: remove explicit phylink_generic_validate() references
Virtually all conventional network drivers are now converted to use
phylink_generic_validate() - only DSA drivers and fman_memac remain,
so lets remove the necessity for network drivers to explicitly set
this member, and default to phylink_generic_validate() when unset.
This is possible as .validate must currently be set.

Any remaining instances that have not been addressed by this patch can
be fixed up later.

0ac4a71fc0 net: mvneta: use .mac_select_pcs() interface
Convert mvneta to use the mac_select_interface rather than using
phylink_set_pcs(). The intention here is to unify the approach for
PCS and eventually remove phylink_set_pcs().

72bb953116 net: mvneta: reorder initialisation
Re-order the mvneta initialisation to move devm based resources and
easy setup earlier in the probe function. The primary reason for this
is to allow us to switch the driver to use phylink's mac_select_pcs()
callback.
