73d9629e1c i40e: Do not allow untrusted VF to remove administratively set MAC
Currently when PF administratively sets VF's MAC address and the VF
is put down (VF tries to delete all MACs) then the MAC is removed
from MAC filters and primary VF MAC is zeroed.

Do not allow untrusted VF to remove primary MAC when it was set
administratively by PF.

Reproducer:
1) Create VF
2) Set VF interface up
3) Administratively set the VF's MAC
4) Put VF interface down

75428f537d net: intel: fix old compiler regressions
The kernel build regressions/improvements email contained a couple of
issues with old compilers (in fact all the reports were on different
architectures, but all gcc 5.5) and the FIELD_PREP() and FIELD_GET()
conversions. They're all because an integer #define that should have
been declared as unsigned, was shifted to the point that it could set
the sign bit.

The fix just involves making sure the defines use the "U" identifier on
the constants to make sure they're unsigned. Should make the checkers
happier.

Confirmed with objdump before/after that there is no change to the
binaries.

Issues were reported as follows:

d80a523353 ethtool: replace struct ethtool_eee with a new struct ethtool_keee on kernel side
In order to pass EEE link modes beyond bit 32 to userspace we have to
complement the 32 bit bitmaps in struct ethtool_eee with linkmode
bitmaps. Therefore, similar to ethtool_link_settings and
ethtool_link_ksettings, add a struct ethtool_keee. In a first step
it's an identical copy of ethtool_eee. This patch simply does a
s/ethtool_eee/ethtool_keee/g for all users.

0cbb08707c i40e: update xdp_rxq_info::frag_size for ZC enabled Rx queue
Now that i40e driver correctly sets up frag_size in xdp_rxq_info, let us
make it work for ZC multi-buffer as well. i40e_ring::rx_buf_len for ZC
is being set via xsk_pool_get_rx_frame_size() and this needs to be
propagated up to xdp_rxq_info.

a045d2f2d0 i40e: set xdp_rxq_info::frag_size
i40e support XDP multi-buffer so it is supposed to use
__xdp_rxq_info_reg() instead of xdp_rxq_info_reg() and set the
frag_size. It can not be simply converted at existing callsite because
rx_buf_len could be un-initialized, so let us register xdp_rxq_info
within i40e_configure_rx_ring(), which happen to be called with already
initialized rx_buf_len value.

Commit 5180ff1364 ("i40e: use int for i40e_status") converted 'err' to
int, so two variables to deal with return codes are not needed within
i40e_configure_rx_ring(). Remove 'ret' and use 'err' to handle status
from xdp_rxq_info registration.

290779905d intel: xsk: initialize skb_frag_t::bv_offset in ZC drivers
Ice and i40e ZC drivers currently set offset of a frag within
skb_shared_info to 0, which is incorrect. xdp_buffs that come from
xsk_buff_pool always have 256 bytes of a headroom, so they need to be
taken into account to retrieve xdp_buff::data via skb_frag_address().
Otherwise, bpf_xdp_frags_increase_tail() would be starting its job from
xdp_buff::data_hard_start which would result in overwriting existing
payload.

83014323c6 i40e: handle multi-buffer packets that are shrunk by xdp prog
XDP programs can shrink packets by calling the bpf_xdp_adjust_tail()
helper function. For multi-buffer packets this may lead to reduction of
frag count stored in skb_shared_info area of the xdp_buff struct. This
results in issues with the current handling of XDP_PASS and XDP_DROP
cases.

For XDP_PASS, currently skb is being built using frag count of
xdp_buffer before it was processed by XDP prog and thus will result in
an inconsistent skb when frag count gets reduced by XDP prog. To fix
this, get correct frag count while building the skb instead of using
pre-obtained frag count.

For XDP_DROP, current page recycling logic will not reuse the page but
instead will adjust the pagecnt_bias so that the page can be freed. This
again results in inconsistent behavior as the page refcnt has already
been changed by the helper while freeing the frag(s) as part of
shrinking the packet. To fix this, only adjust pagecnt_bias for buffers
that are stillpart of the packet post-xdp prog run.

f7f6aa8e24 xsk: make xsk_buff_pool responsible for clearing xdp_buff::flags
XDP multi-buffer support introduced XDP_FLAGS_HAS_FRAGS flag that is
used by drivers to notify data path whether xdp_buff contains fragments
or not. Data path looks up mentioned flag on first buffer that occupies
the linear part of xdp_buff, so drivers only modify it there. This is
sufficient for SKB and XDP_DRV modes as usually xdp_buff is allocated on
stack or it resides within struct representing driver's queue and
fragments are carried via skb_frag_t structs. IOW, we are dealing with
only one xdp_buff.

ZC mode though relies on list of xdp_buff structs that is carried via
xsk_buff_pool::xskb_list, so ZC data path has to make sure that
fragments do *not* have XDP_FLAGS_HAS_FRAGS set. Otherwise,
xsk_buff_free() could misbehave if it would be executed against xdp_buff
that carries a frag with XDP_FLAGS_HAS_FRAGS flag set. Such scenario can
take place when within supplied XDP program bpf_xdp_adjust_tail() is
used with negative offset that would in turn release the tail fragment
from multi-buffer frame.

Calling xsk_buff_free() on tail fragment with XDP_FLAGS_HAS_FRAGS would
result in releasing all the nodes from xskb_list that were produced by
driver before XDP program execution, which is not what is intended -
only tail fragment should be deleted from xskb_list and then it should
be put onto xsk_buff_pool::free_list. Such multi-buffer frame will never
make it up to user space, so from AF_XDP application POV there would be
no traffic running, however due to free_list getting constantly new
nodes, driver will be able to feed HW Rx queue with recycled buffers.
Bottom line is that instead of traffic being redirected to user space,
it would be continuously dropped.

To fix this, let us clear the mentioned flag on xsk_buff_pool side
during xdp_buff initialization, which is what should have been done
right from the start of XSK multi-buffer support.

371e576ff3 i40e: Restore VF MSI-X state during PCI reset
During a PCI FLR the MSI-X Enable flag in the VF PCI MSI-X capability
register will be cleared. This can lead to issues when a VF is
assigned to a VM because in these cases the VF driver receives no
indication of the PF PCI error/reset and additionally it is incapable
of restoring the cleared flag in the hypervisor configuration space
without fully reinitializing the driver interrupt functionality.

Since the VF driver is unable to easily resolve this condition on its own,
restore the VF MSI-X flag during the PF PCI reset handling.

intel: use bitfield operations

Jesse Brandeburg says:

After repeatedly getting review comments on new patches, and sporadic
patches to fix parts of our drivers, we should just convert the Intel code
to use FIELD_PREP() and FIELD_GET(). It's then "common" in the code and
hopefully future change-sets will see the context and do-the-right-thing.

This conversion was done with a coccinelle script which is mentioned in the
commit messages. Generally there were only a couple conversions that were
"undone" after the automatic changes because they tried to convert a
non-contiguous mask.

Patch 1 is required at the beginning of this series to fix a "forever"
issue in the e1000e driver that fails the compilation test after conversion
because the shift / mask was out of range.

The second patch just adds all the new #includes in one go.

The patch titled: "ice: fix pre-shifted bit usage" is needed to allow the
use of the FIELD_* macros and fix up the unexpected "shifts included"
defines found while creating this series.

The rest are the conversion to use FIELD_PREP()/FIELD_GET(), and the
occasional leXX_{get,set,encode}_bits() call, as suggested by Alex.

fb6e30a725 net: ethtool: pass a pointer to parameters to get/set_rxfh ethtool ops
The get/set_rxfh ethtool ops currently takes the rxfh (RSS) parameters
as direct function arguments. This will force us to change the API (and
all drivers' functions) every time some new parameters are added.

This is part 1/2 of the fix, as suggested in [1]:

- First simplify the code by always providing a pointer to all params
(indir, key and func); the fact that some of them may be NULL seems
like a weird historic thing or a premature optimization.
It will simplify the drivers if all pointers are always present.

 - Then make the functions take a dev pointer, and a pointer to a
single struct wrapping all arguments. The set_* should also take
   an extack.

7d9f22b3d3 i40e: Fix unexpected MFS warning message
Commit 3a2c6ced90 ("i40e: Add a check to see if MFS is set") added
a warning message that reports unexpected size of port's MFS (max
frame size) value. This message use for the port number local
variable 'i' that is wrong.
In i40e_probe() this 'i' variable is used only to iterate VSIs
to find FDIR VSI:

<code>
...
/* if FDIR VSI was set up, start it now */
        for (i = 0; i < pf->num_alloc_vsi; i++) {
                if (pf->vsi[i] && pf->vsi[i]->type == I40E_VSI_FDIR) {
                        i40e_vsi_open(pf->vsi[i]);
                        break;
                }
        }
...
</code>

So the warning message use for the port number index of FDIR VSI
if this exists or pf->num_alloc_vsi if not.

Fix the message by using 'pf->hw.port' for the port number.

068d8b75c1 i40e: sync next_to_clean and next_to_process for programming status desc
When a programming status desc is encountered on the rx_ring,
next_to_process is bumped along with cleaned_count but next_to_clean is
not. This causes I40E_DESC_UNUSED() macro to misbehave resulting in
overwriting whole ring with new buffers.

Update next_to_clean to point to next_to_process on seeing a programming
status desc if not in the middle of handling a multi-frag packet. Also,
bump cleaned_count only for such case as otherwise next_to_clean buffer
may be returned to hardware on reaching clean_threshold.

665e7d83c5 i40e: Fix I40E_FLAG_VF_VLAN_PRUNING value
Commit c87c938f62 ("i40e: Add VF VLAN pruning") added new

[root@cnb-03 ~]# ethtool --set-priv-flags enp2s0f0np0 vf-vlan-pruning on

The link-down-on-close flag cannot be modified after setting vf-vlan-pruning

that prevents any modification of link-down-on-close flag.

913eda2b08 i40e: xsk: remove count_mask
Cited commit introduced a neat way of updating next_to_clean that does
not require boundary checks on each increment. This was done by masking
the new value with (ring length - 1) mask. Problem is that this is
applicable only for power of 2 ring sizes, for every other size this
assumption can not be made. In turn, it leads to cleaning descriptors
out of order as well as splats:

be39d0a61a i40e: use scnprintf over strncpy+strncat
`strncpy` is deprecated for use on NUL-terminated destination strings
[1] and as such we should prefer more robust and less ambiguous string
interfaces.

Moreover, `strncat` shouldn't really be used either as per
fortify-string.h:
 * Do not use this function. While FORTIFY_SOURCE tries to avoid
 * read and write overflows, this is only possible when the sizes
 * of @p and @q are known to the compiler. Prefer building the
 * string with formatting, via scnprintf() or similar.

Instead, use `scnprintf` with "%s%s" format string. This code is now
more readable and robust.

df19ea6966 i40e: Refactor and rename i40e_read_pba_string()
Function i40e_read_pba_string() is currently unused but will be used
by subsequent patch to provide board ID via devlink device info.

The function reads PBA block from NVM so it cannot be called during
adapter reset and as we would like to provide PBA ID via devlink
info it is better to read the PBA ID during i40e_probe() and cache
it in i40e_hw structure to avoid a waiting for potential adapter
reset in devlink info callback.

So...
- Remove pba_num and pba_num_size arguments from the function,
allocate resource managed buffer to store PBA ID string and
save resulting pointer to i40e_hw->pba_id field
- Make the function void as the PBA ID can be missing and in this
case (or in case of NVM reading failure) the i40e_hw->pba_id
  will be NULL
- Rename the function to i40e_get_pba_string() to align with other
  functions like i40e_get_oem_version() i40e_get_port_mac_addr()...
- Call this function on init during i40e_probe()

7aabde3976 i40e: Split and refactor i40e_nvm_version_str()
The function formats NVM version string according adapter's
EETrackID value. If this value OEM specific (0xffffffff) then
the reported version is with format:
"<gen>.<snap>.<release>"
and in other case
"<nvm_maj>.<nvm_min> <eetrackid> <cvid_maj>.<cvid_bld>.<cvid_min>"

These versions are reported in the subsequent patch in this series
that implements devlink .info_get but separately.

So split the function into separate ones, refactor it to use them
and remove ugly static string buffer.
Additionally convert NVM/OEM version mask macros to use GENMASK and
use FIELD_GET/FIELD_PREP for them in i40e_nvm_version_str() and

fc6f716a50 i40e: prevent crash on probe if hw registers have invalid values
The hardware provides the indexes of the first and the last available
queue and VF. From the indexes, the driver calculates the numbers of
queues and VFs. In theory, a faulty device might say the last index is
smaller than the first index. In that case, the driver's calculation
would underflow, it would attempt to write to non-existent registers
outside of the ioremapped range and crash.

I ran into this not by having a faulty device, but by an operator error.
I accidentally ran a QE test meant for i40e devices on an ice device.
The test used 'echo i40e > /sys/...ice PCI device.../driver_override',
bound the driver to the device and crashed in one of the wr32 calls in
i40e_clear_hw.

Add checks to prevent underflows in the calculations of num_queues and
num_vfs. With this fix, the wrong device probing reports errors and
returns a failure without crashing.

56df345917 i40e: Remove circular header dependencies and fix headers
Similarly as for ice driver [1] there are also circular header
dependencies in i40e driver:
i40e.h -> i40e_virtchnl_pf.h -> i40e.h

Another issue is that i40e header files does not contain their own
dependencies on other header files (both private and standard) so their
inclusion in .c file require to add these deps in certain order to
that .c file to make it compilable.

Fix both issues by removal the mentioned circular dependency, by filling
i40e headers with their dependencies so they can be placed anywhere in
a source code. Additionally remove bunch of includes from i40e.h super
header file that are not necessary and include i40e.h only in .c files

d0d362ffa3 i40e: Fix VF VLAN offloading when port VLAN is configured
If port VLAN is configured on a VF then any other VLANs on top of this VF
are broken.

During i40e_ndo_set_vf_port_vlan() call the i40e driver reset the VF and
iavf driver asks PF (using VIRTCHNL_OP_GET_VF_RESOURCES) for VF capabilities
but this reset occurs too early, prior setting of vf->info.pvid field
and because this field can be zero during i40e_vc_get_vf_resources_msg()
then VIRTCHNL_VF_OFFLOAD_VLAN capability is reported to iavf driver.

This is wrong because iavf driver should not report VLAN offloading
capability when port VLAN is configured as i40e does not support QinQ
offloading.

Fix the issue by moving VF reset after setting of vf->port_vlan_id
field.

Without this patch:
$ echo 1 > /sys/class/net/enp2s0f0/device/sriov_numvfs
$ ip link set enp2s0f0 vf 0 vlan 3
$ ip link set enp2s0f0v0 up

[1292500.742914] iavf 0000:02:02.0: Failed to add VLAN filter, error IAVF_ERR_INVALID_QP_ID

Gustavo already tried to fix those back in 2021[0][1]. Unfortunately,
a VM can run a different kernel than the host, meaning that those
structures are sorta ABI.
However, it is possible to have proper flex arrays + struct_size()
calculations and still send the very same messages with the same sizes.
The common rule is:

elem[1] -> elem[]
size = struct_size() + <difference between the old and the new msg size>

The "old" size in the current code is calculated 3 different ways for
10 virtchnl structures total. Each commit addresses one of the ways
cumulatively instead of per-structure.

I was planning to send it to -net initially, but given that virtchnl was
renamed from i40evf and got some fat style cleanup commits in the past,
it's not very straightforward to even pick appropriate SHAs, not
speaking of automatic portability. I may send manual backports for
a couple of the latest supported kernels later on if anyone needs it
at all.

b0654e64db virtchnl: fix fake 1-elem arrays for structures allocated as nents
Finally, fix 3 structures which are allocated technically correctly,
i.e. the calculated size equals to the one that struct_size() would
return, except for sizeof(). For &virtchnl_vlan_filter_list_v2, use
the same approach when there are no enough space as taken previously
for &virtchnl_vlan_filter_list, i.e. let the maximum size be calculated
automatically instead of trying to guestimate it using maths.

5e7f59fa07 virtchnl: fix fake 1-elem arrays in structures allocated as nents + 1
There are five virtchnl structures, which are allocated and checked in
the code as `nents + 1`, meaning that they always have memory for one
excessive element regardless of their actual number. This comes from
that their sizeof() includes space for 1 element and then they get
allocated via struct_size() or its open-coded equivalents, passing
the actual number of elements.
Expand virtchnl_struct_size() to handle such structures and replace
those 1-elem arrays with proper flex ones. Also fix several places
which open-code %IAVF_VIRTCHNL_VF_RESOURCE_SIZE. Finally, let the
virtchnl_ether_addr_list size be computed automatically when there's
no enough space for the whole list, otherwise we have to open-code
reverse struct_size() logics.

1c9ba9c146 i40e: xsk: add RX multi-buffer support
This patch is inspired from the multi-buffer support in non-zc path for
i40e as well as from the patch to support zc on ice. Each subsequent
frag is added to skb_shared_info of the first frag for possible xdp_prog
use as well to xsk buffer list for accessing the buffers in af_xdp.

For XDP_PASS, new pages are allocated for frags and contents are copied
from memory backed by xsk_buff_pool.

Replace next_to_clean with next_to_process as done in non-zc path and
advance it for every buffer and change the semantics of next_to_clean to
point to the first buffer of a packet. Driver will use next_to_process
in the same way next_to_clean was used previously.

For the non multi-buffer case, next_to_process and next_to_clean will
always be the same since each packet consists of a single buffer.

efb6f4a359 i40e: Wait for pending VF reset in VF set callbacks
Commit 028daf8011 ("i40e: Fix attach VF to VM issue") fixed
a race between i40e_ndo_set_vf_mac() and i40e_reset_vf() during
an attachment of VF device to VM. This issue is not related to
setting MAC address only but also VLAN assignment to particular
VF because the newer libvirt sets configured MAC address as well
as an optional VLAN. The same behavior is also for i40e's
.ndo_set_vf_rate and .ndo_set_vf_spoofchk where the callbacks
just check if the VF was initialized but not wait for the finish
of pending reset.

Reproducer:
[root@host ~]# virsh attach-interface guest hostdev --managed 0000:02:02.0 --mac 52:54:00:b4:aa:bb
error: Failed to attach interface
error: Cannot set interface MAC/vlanid to 52:54:00:b4:aa:bb/0 for ifname enp2s0f0 vf 0: Resource temporarily unavailable

Fix this issue by using i40e_check_vf_init_timeout() helper to check
whether a reset of particular VF was finished in i40e's
.ndo_set_vf_vlan, .ndo_set_vf_rate and .ndo_set_vf_spoofchk callbacks.

i40e: support XDP multi-buffer

Tirthendu Sarkar says:

This patchset adds multi-buffer support for XDP. Tx side already has
support for multi-buffer. This patchset focuses on Rx side. The last
patch contains actual multi-buffer changes while the previous ones are
preparatory patches.

On receiving the first buffer of a packet, xdp_buff is built and its
subsequent buffers are added to it as frags. While 'next_to_clean' keeps
pointing to the first descriptor, the newly introduced 'next_to_process'
keeps track of every descriptor for the packet.

On receiving EOP buffer the XDP program is called and appropriate action
is taken (building skb for XDP_PASS, reusing page for XDP_DROP, adjusting
page offsets for XDP_{REDIRECT,TX}).

The patchset also streamlines page offset adjustments for buffer reuse
to make it easier to post process the rx_buffers after running XDP prog.

With this patchset there does not seem to be any performance degradation
for XDP_PASS and some improvement (~1% for XDP_TX, ~5% for XDP_DROP) when
measured using xdp_rxq_info program from samples/bpf/ for 64B packets.

e213ced19b i40e: add support for XDP multi-buffer Rx
This patch adds multi-buffer support for the i40e_driver.

i40e_clean_rx_irq() is modified to collate all the buffers of a packet
before calling the XDP program. xdp_buff is built for the first frag of
the packet and subsequent frags are added to it. 'next_to_process' is
incremented for all non-EOP frags while 'next_to_clean' stays at the
first descriptor of the packet. XDP program is called only on receiving
EOP frag.

New functions are added for adding frags to xdp_buff and for post
processing of the buffers once the xdp prog has run. For XDP_PASS this
results in a skb with multiple fragments.

i40e_build_skb() builds the skb around xdp buffer that already contains
frags data. So i40e_add_rx_frag() helper function is now removed. Since
fields before 'dataref' in skb_shared_info are cleared during
napi_skb_build(), xdp_update_skb_shared_info() is called to set those.

For i40e_construct_skb(), all the frags data needs to be copied from
xdp_buffer's shared_skb_info to newly constructed skb's shared_skb_info.

This also means 'skb' does not need to be preserved across i40e_napi_poll()
calls and hence is removed from i40e_ring structure.

Previously i40e_alloc_rx_buffers() was called for every 32 cleaned
buffers. For multi-buffers this may not be optimal as there may be more
cleaned buffers in each i40e_clean_rx_irq() call. So this is now called
when at least half of the ring size has been cleaned.

01aa49e31e i40e: add xdp_buff to i40e_ring struct
Store xdp_buff on Rx ring struct in preparation for XDP multi-buffer
support. This will allow us to combine fragmented frames across
separate NAPI cycles in the same way as currently skb fragments are
handled. This means that skb pointer on Rx ring will become redundant
and will be removed in a later patch. As a consequence i40e_trace() now
uses xdp instead of skb pointer.

Truesize only needs to be calculated for page sizes bigger than 4k as it
is always half-page for 4k pages. With xdp_buff on ring, frame size can
now be set during xdp_init_buff() and need not be repopulated in each
NAPI call for 4k pages. As a consequence i40e_rx_frame_truesize() is now
used only for bigger pages.

e9031f2da1 i40e: introduce next_to_process to i40e_ring
Add a new field called next_to_process in the i40e_ring that is
advanced for every buffer and change the semantics of next_to_clean to
point to the first buffer of a packet. Driver will use next_to_process
in the same way next_to_clean was used previously.

For the non multi-buffer case, next_to_process and next_to_clean will
always be the same since each packet consists of a single buffer.

03e88c8a79 i40e: Change size to truesize when using i40e_rx_buffer_flip()
Truesize is now passed directly to i40e_rx_buffer_flip() instead of size
so that it does not need to recalculate truesize from size using

With these change the function can now be used during skb building and

e2843f0371 i40e: add pre-xdp page_count in rx_buffer
Page count of rx_buffer needs to be stored prior to XDP call to prevent
page recycling in case that buffer would be freed within xdp redirect
path. Instead of storing it on the stack, now it is stored in the
rx_buffer struct. This will help in processing multi-buffers as the page
counts of all rx_buffers (of the same packet) don't need to be stored on
stack.

f7f732a719 i40e: change Rx buffer size for legacy-rx to support XDP multi-buffer
Adding support for XDP multi-buffer entails adding information of all
the fragments of the packet in the xdp_buff. This approach implies that
underlying buffer has to provide tailroom for skb_shared_info.

In the legacy-rx mode, driver can only configure up to 2k sized Rx buffers
and with the current configuration of 2k sized Rx buffers there is no way
to do tailroom reservation for skb_shared_info. Hence size of Rx buffers
is now lowered to 2048 - sizeof(skb_shared_info). Also, driver can only
chain up to 5 Rx buffers and this means max MTU supported for legacy-rx
is now 8614 (5 * rx_buffer_len - ETH header with VLAN).

66c0e13ad2 drivers: net: turn on XDP features
A summary of the flags being set for various drivers is given below.
Note that XDP_F_REDIRECT_TARGET and XDP_F_FRAG_TARGET are features
that can be turned off and on at runtime. This means that these flags
may be set and unset under RTNL lock protection by the driver. Hence,
READ_ONCE must be used by code loading the flag value.

Also, these flags are not used for synchronization against the availability
of XDP resources on a device. It is merely a hint, and hence the read
may race with the actual teardown of XDP resources on the device. This
may change in the future, e.g. operations taking a reference on the XDP
resources of the driver, and in turn inhibiting turning off this flag.
However, for now, it can only be used as a hint to check whether device
supports becoming a redirection target.

292a089d78 treewide: Convert del_timer*() to timer_shutdown*()
Due to several bugs caused by timers being re-armed after they are

The following script was run to find all the trivial locations where

b1746fbab1 i40e: allow toggling loopback mode via ndo_set_features callback
Add support for NETIF_F_LOOPBACK. This feature can be set via:
$ ethtool -K eth0 loopback <on|off>

This sets the MAC Tx->Rx loopback.

This feature is used for the xsk selftests, and might have other uses
too.

0c87b545a2 i40e: Fix the inability to attach XDP program on downed interface
Whenever trying to load XDP prog on downed interface, function i40e_xdp
was passing vsi->rx_buf_len field to i40e_xdp_setup() which was equal 0.
i40e_open() calls i40e_vsi_configure_rx() which configures that field,
but that only happens when interface is up. When it is down, i40e_open()
is not being called, thus vsi->rx_buf_len is not set.

Solution for this is calculate buffer length in newly created
function - i40e_calculate_vsi_rx_buf_len() that return actual buffer
length. Buffer length is being calculated based on the same rules
applied previously in i40e_vsi_configure_rx() function.

d64aaf3f78 i40e: Disallow ip4 and ip6 l4_4_bytes
Return -EOPNOTSUPP, when user requests l4_4_bytes for raw IP4 or
IP6 flow director filters. Flow director does not support filtering
on l4 bytes for PCTYPEs used by IP4 and IP6 filters.
Without this patch, user could create filters with l4_4_bytes fields,
which did not do any filtering on L4, but only on L3 fields.

0850197047 i40e: Fix for VF MAC address 0
After spawning max VFs on a PF, some VFs were not getting resources and
their MAC addresses were 0. This was caused by PF sleeping before flushing
HW registers which caused VIRTCHNL_VFR_VFACTIVE to not be set in time for
VF.

Fix by adding a sleep after hw flush.

82e0572b23 i40e: Fix not setting default xps_cpus after reset
During tx rings configuration default XPS queue config is set and
__I40E_TX_XPS_INIT_DONE is locked. __I40E_TX_XPS_INIT_DONE state is
cleared and set again with default mapping only during queues build,
it means after first setup or reset with queues rebuild. (i.e.
ethtool -L <interface> combined <number>) After other resets (i.e.
ethtool -t <interface>) XPS_INIT_DONE is not cleared and those default
maps cannot be set again. It results in cleared xps_cpus mapping
until queues are not rebuild or mapping is not set by user.

Add clearing __I40E_TX_XPS_INIT_DONE state during reset to let
the driver set xps_cpus to defaults again after it was cleared.

6d4d584a7e i40e: Add i40e_napi_poll tracepoint
Add a tracepoint for i40e_napi_poll that allows users to get detailed
