fc7c7498db drm/xe/mcr: Try to derive dss_per_grp from hwconfig attributes
When steering MCR register ranges of type "DSS," the group_id and
instance_id values are calculated by dividing the DSS pool according to
the size of a gslice or cslice, depending on the platform.  These values
haven't changed much on past platforms, so we've been able to hardcode
the proper divisor so far.  However the layout may not be so fixed on
future platforms so the proper, future-proof way to determine this is by
using some of the attributes from the GuC's hwconfig table.  The
hwconfig has two attributes reflecting the architectural maximum slice
and subslice counts (i.e., before any fusing is considered) that can be
used for the purposes of calculating MCR steering targets.

If the hwconfig is lacking the necessary values (which should only be
possible on older platforms before these attributes were added), we can
still fall back to the old hardcoded values.  Going forward the hwconfig
is expected to always provide the information we need on newer
platforms, and any failure to do so will be considered a bug in the
firmware that will prevent us from switching to the buggy firmware
release.

It's worth noting that over time GuC's hwconfig has provided a couple
different keys with similar-sounding descriptions.  For our purposes
here, we only trust the newer key "70" which has supplanted the
similarly-named key "2" that existed on older platforms.

8a0f58ec47 drm/xe: Add debugfs to dump GuC's hwconfig
Although the query uapi is the official way to get at the GuC's hwconfig
table contents, it's still useful to have a quick debugfs interface to
dump the table in a human-readable format while debugging the driver.

62742d1266 drm/xe: Normalize bo flags macros
The flags stored in the BO grew over time without following
much a naming pattern. First of all, get rid of the _BIT suffix that was
banned from everywhere else due to the guideline in
drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915_reg.h that xe kind of follows:

	Define bits using ``REG_BIT(N)``. Do **not** add ``_BIT`` suffix to the name.

Here the flags aren't for a register, but it's good practice to keep it
consistent.

Second divergence on names is the use or not of "CREATE". This is
because most of the flags are passed to xe_bo_create*() family of
functions, changing its behavior. However, since the flags are also
stored in the bo itself and checked elsewhere in the code, it seems
better to just omit the CREATE part.

With those 2 guidelines, all the flags are given the form
XE_BO_FLAG_<FLAG_NAME> with the following commands:

4c15a6dcee drm/xe/uc: Use u64 for offsets for which we use upper_32_bits()
The GGTT is currently a 32 bit address space, but the HW and GuC
support 48b addresses in GGTT-related operations, both to keep the
interface/HW paths common between PPGTT and GGTT and to allow for
future increase of the GGTT size.
This leaves us having to program a 64b field with a 32b offset, which
currently we're in some cases doing this by using an upper_32_bits()
call on a 32b variable, which doesn't make any sense. To do this cleanly
we have 2 options:

1 - Set the upper 32 bits directly to zero.
2 - Use 64b variables for the offset and keep programming the whole thing,
    so we're ready if we ever have bigger offsets.

This patch goes with option #2 and switches the related variables to u64.

231c411087 drm/xe: Add XE_BO_GGTT_INVALIDATE flag
Add XE_BO_GGTT_INVALIDATE flag which indicates the GGTT should be
invalidated when a BO is added / removed from the GGTT. This is
typically set when a BO is used by the GuC as the GuC has GGTT TLBs.

a44bbace73 drm/xe/guc: Allocate GuC data structures in system memory for initial load
GuC load will need to happen at an earlier point in probe, where local
memory is not yet available. Use system memory for GuC data structures
used for initial "hwconfig" load, and realloc at a later,
"post-hwconfig" load if needed, when local memory is available.

0e1a47fcab drm/xe: Add a helper for DRM device-lifetime BO create
A helper for managed BO allocations makes it possible to remove specific
"fini" actions and will simplify the following patches adding ability to
execute a release action for specific BO directly.

b67cb798e4 drm/xe/guc: Include only required GuC ABI headers
On i915 we were adding new GuC ABI headers directly to guc_fwif.h
file since we were replacing old definitions from that file.

On xe driver we could do more and better by including ABI headers
only in files that need those definitions.

99fea68288 drm/xe: Prefer WARN() over BUG() to avoid crashing the kernel
Replace calls to XE_BUG_ON() with calls XE_WARN_ON() which in turn calls
WARN() instead of BUG(). BUG() crashes the kernel and should only be
used when it is absolutely unavoidable in case of catastrophic and
unrecoverable failures, which is not the case here.

876611c2b7 drm/xe: Memory allocations are tile-based, not GT-based
Since memory and address spaces are a tile concept rather than a GT
concept, we need to plumb tile-based handling through lots of
memory-related code.

Note that one remaining shortcoming here that will need to be addressed
before media GT support can be re-enabled is that although the address
space is shared between a tile's GTs, each GT caches the PTEs
independently in their own TLB and thus TLB invalidation should be
handled at the GT level.

ea9f879d03 drm/xe: Sort includes
Sort includes and split them in blocks:

1) .h corresponding to the .c. Example: xe_bb.c should have a "#include
   "xe_bb.h" first.
2) #include <linux/...>
3) #include <drm/...>
4) local includes
5) i915 includes

This is accomplished by running
`clang-format --style=file -i --sort-includes drivers/gpu/drm/xe/*.[ch]`
and ignoring all the changes after the includes. There are also some
manual tweaks to split the blocks.

dd08ebf6c3 drm/xe: Introduce a new DRM driver for Intel GPUs
Xe, is a new driver for Intel GPUs that supports both integrated and
discrete platforms starting with Tiger Lake (first Intel Xe Architecture).

The code is at a stage where it is already functional and has experimental
support for multiple platforms starting from Tiger Lake, with initial
support implemented in Mesa (for Iris and Anv, our OpenGL and Vulkan
drivers), as well as in NEO (for OpenCL and Level0).

The new Xe driver leverages a lot from i915.

As for display, the intent is to share the display code with the i915
driver so that there is maximum reuse there. But it is not added
in this patch.

This initial work is a collaboration of many people and unfortunately
the big squashed patch won't fully honor the proper credits. But let's
get some git quick stats so we can at least try to preserve some of the
credits:
