ASoC: soc-dapm: set bias_level if snd_soc_dapm_set_bias_level() was successed
ASoC has 2 functions to set bias level.
	(A) snd_soc_dapm_force_bias_level()
	(B) snd_soc_dapm_set_bias_level()

snd_soc_dapm_force_bias_level() (A) will set dapm->bias_level (a) if
successed.

(A)	int snd_soc_dapm_force_bias_level(...)
	{
		...
		if (ret == 0)
(a)			dapm->bias_level = level;
		...
	}

snd_soc_dapm_set_bias_level() (B) is also a function that sets bias_level.
It will call snd_soc_dapm_force_bias_level() (A) inside, but doesn't
set dapm->bias_level by itself. One note is that (A) might not be called.

(B)	static int snd_soc_dapm_set_bias_level(...)
	{
		...
		ret = snd_soc_card_set_bias_level(...);
		...
		if (dapm != &card->dapm)
(A)			ret = snd_soc_dapm_force_bias_level(...);
		...
		ret = snd_soc_card_set_bias_level_post(...);
		...
	}

dapm->bias_level will be set if (A) was called, but might not be set
if (B) was called, even though it calles set_bias_level() function.

We should set dapm->bias_level if we calls
snd_soc_dapm_set_bias_level() (B), too.

ASoC: soc-dapm: reordering function definitions
Because functions are defined randomly, it needs function name

ASoC: dapm: add support for preparing streams
Codec driver can implement .hw_params and/or .prepare from struct
snd_soc_dai_ops. For codec-to-codec links only the former (.hw_params)
callback has been called.

On platforms like Amlogic Meson8/8b/8m2 the SoC's sound card
(sound/soc/meson/gx-card.c) uses a codec-to-codec link for the HDMI
codec output because further digital routing is required after the
backend. The new DRM HDMI (audio) codec framework (which internally
uses sound/soc/codecs/hdmi-codec.c) relies on the .prepare callback
of the hdmi-codec to be called. Implement calls to
snd_soc_dai_prepare() so the .prepare callback is called. In this
case the mandatory part is the call to prepare the sink (which is
the hdmi-codec on those platforms). Also call snd_soc_dai_prepare()
for the source to stay consistent with the rest of the code (even
though it's not strictly necessary to make the DRM HDMI codec
framework work on Amlogic Meson8/8b/8m2).

For platforms or sound cards without a codec-to-codec link with
additional parameters (which applies to most hardware) this changes
nothing as the .prepare callback is already called via
snd_pcm_do_prepare() (as well as dpcm_fe_dai_prepare() and
dpcm_be_dai_prepare()) on those.

ASoC: dapm: fix bounds checker error in dapm_widget_list_create
The widgets array in the snd_soc_dapm_widget_list has a __counted_by
attribute attached to it, which points to the num_widgets variable. This
attribute is used in bounds checking, and if it is not set before the
array is filled, then the bounds sanitizer will issue a warning or a
kernel panic if CONFIG_UBSAN_TRAP is set.

This patch sets the size of the widgets list calculated with
list_for_each as the initial value for num_widgets as it is used for
allocating memory for the array. It is updated with the actual number of

ASoC: dapm: avoid container_of() to get component
The current implementation does not work for widgets of DAPMs without
component, as snd_soc_dapm_to_component() requires it. If the widget is

   stream Left HiFi Capture inactive
   out  "static" "Capture"
   in  "static" "Left PGA"

Lines with the "in" and "out" prefixes describe routes from/to other
widgets presenting the path name and the connected widget name.

This is ambiguous in case of cards having multiple widgets with the same
name in different components. For example the STM32MP157A-DK1 board
(arch/arm/boot/dts/st/stm32mp15xx-dkx.dtsi) has a "Capture" widget in both
the "cs42l51.0-004a" and the "hdmi-audio-codec.1.auto" components.

Avoid the ambiguity by adding the component name to the "in" and "out"
lines. Add the new field at the end to minimize backward compatibility
issues. The existing vizdapm tool continues working after this change.

The output becomes:

  Left ADC: Off  in 1 out 0 - R2(0x2) mask 0x2
   stream Left HiFi Capture inactive
   out  "static" "Capture" "cs42l51.0-004a"
   in  "static" "Left PGA" "cs42l51.0-004a"

There are clearly multiple calls, one per component, but they cannot be
discriminated from each other.

Change the ftrace events to also print the component name, to make it clear
which part of the code is involved. This requires changing the passed value
from a struct snd_soc_card, where the DAPM context is not kwown, to a
struct snd_soc_dapm_context where it is obviously known but the a card
pointer is also available.

With this change, the resulting trace becomes:

Prepare for the coming implementation by GCC and Clang of the __counted_by

As found with Coccinelle[1], add __counted_by for struct snd_soc_dapm_widget_list.
Additionally, since the element count member must be set before accessing
the annotated flexible array member, move its initialization earlier.

ASoC: add N cpus to M codecs dai link support
Currently, ASoC supports dailinks with the following mappings:
1 cpu DAI to N codec DAIs
N cpu DAIs to N codec DAIs
But the mapping between N cpu DAIs and M codec DAIs is not supported.
The reason is that we didn't have a mechanism to map cpu and codec DAIs

This patch suggests a new snd_soc_dai_link_codec_ch_map struct in
struct snd_soc_dai_link{} which provides codec DAI to cpu DAI mapping
information used to implement N cpu DAIs to M codec DAIs
support.

When a dailink contains two or more cpu DAIs, we should set channel
number of cpus based on its channel mask. The new struct also provides
channel mask information for each codec and we can construct the cpu
channel mask by combining all codec channel masks which map to the cpu.

The N:M mapping is however restricted to the N <= M case due to physical
restrictions on a time-multiplexed bus such as I2S/TDM, AC97, SoundWire
and HDaudio.

ASoC: expand snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock/unlock()
soc.h has snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock/unlock() definition and
many drivers are using it, but soc-dapm.c is not.

1st reason is snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock/unlock() requests
snd_soc_dapm_context pointer as parameter (A), but sometimes soc-dapm.c
needs to use snd_soc_card (B).

(A)	static inline void snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock(struct snd_soc_dapm_context *dapm)
	{
		mutex_lock_nested(&dapm->card->dapm_mutex, SND_SOC_DAPM_CLASS_RUNTIME);
	}			   ^^^^^^^^^^

(B)	mutex_lock_nested(&card->dapm_mutex, SND_SOC_DAPM_CLASS_RUNTIME);
			   ^^^^

2nd reason is it want to use SND_SOC_DAPM_CLASS_INIT for mutex_lock_nested(),
but helper is using _RUNTIME (A).

The conclusion is we want to use "dapm vs card" and "_RUNTIME vs _INIT"
for dapm lock/unlock. To enable this selfish request, this patch uses
_Generic macro. We can use snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock/unlock() for both
dapm and card case.

	snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock(dapm);	snd_soc_dapm_mutex_unlock(dapm);
	snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock(card);	snd_soc_dapm_mutex_unlock(card);

Current soc-dapm.c is using both mutex_lock() and mutex_lock_nested().
This patch handles mutex_lock() as mutex_lock_nested(..., 0),
in other words, handles below as same.

	mutex_lock(&card->dapm_mutex);
	mutex_lock_nested(&card->dapm_mutex, SND_SOC_DAPM_CLASS_INIT);

Because people might misunderstand that _init() is mutex initialization,
this patch renames _INIT to _ROOT and adds new
snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock_root() for it.

This patch also moves snd_soc_dapm_subclass definition from soc-dapm.h
to soc.h to keep related code together.

Because very complex soc.h vs soc-dapm.h relationship,
it is difficult/impossible to define these helper into soc-dapm.h.

Main purpose of these parts (and this function) is calling
dapm_connect_dai_routes() (= z) on each cases.
The difference is "parameter"
(= Normal/Codec2Codec x CPU/Codec x Playback/Capture).

This patch cleanup these, but nothing changed for meaning.

ASoC: dapm: Sort speakers after other outputs
Currently we sequence speakers with line and headphone outputs in DAPM.
This works well when speakers are integrate into a CODEC but when there is
an external speaker driver connected to a line or headphone output it can
mean that the speaker driver ends up getting sequenced such that it picks
up pops and clicks from the CODEC. Mask this by moving speakers after the
other outputs in DAPM.

We may want to consider doing this for headphones too but separate drivers
are less common there and headphone drivers often also function as line
outputs so the situation is less clear.
