ASoC: soc-dapm: reordering header definitions
Because header defined randomly, it needs name definitions on top of
soc-dapm.h. it is not needed if definitions are implemented in correct

This patch has big change from change-line point of view, but is
just reordering, nothing changed in meaning.

ASoC: soc-dapm: remove snd_soc_dapm_nc_pin[_unlocked]()
snd_soc_dapm_nc_pin() was added in commit 5817b52a29 ("ALSA: ASoC: Allow
machine drivers to mark pins as not connected") at 2008.
It is identical to snd_soc_dapm_disable_pin[_unlocked](). It was expected
to be updated, but were enough as-is for this 17 years.

We might update these, but renaming function name by define is enough
for now. We can re-create these if needed in the future. Let's remove it.

ASoC: soc-dapm: Annotate struct snd_soc_dapm_widget_list with __counted_by
Prepare for the coming implementation by GCC and Clang of the __counted_by
attribute. Flexible array members annotated with __counted_by can have
their accesses bounds-checked at run-time via CONFIG_UBSAN_BOUNDS (for
array indexing) and CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE (for strcpy/memcpy-family
functions).

As found with Coccinelle[1], add __counted_by for struct snd_soc_dapm_widget_list.
Additionally, since the element count member must be set before accessing
the annotated flexible array member, move its initialization earlier.

ASoC: dapm: Add a flag for not having widget name in kcontrol name
The existing soc-dapm code may add a prefix to control names, which in
some cases is useful but in others leads to long and confusing kcontrol
names such as "gain 2.1 Main Playback Volume".

This patch suggests an added flag to prevent the widget name prefix
from being added. That flag will be set in the topology file on a
per-widget basis.

The flag no_wname_in_kcontrol_name is added to struct snd_soc_dapm_widget,
and the logic in dapm_create_or_share_kcontrol() is changed to not to
add widget name if the flag is set.

ASoC: expand snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock/unlock()
soc.h has snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock/unlock() definition and
many drivers are using it, but soc-dapm.c is not.

1st reason is snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock/unlock() requests
snd_soc_dapm_context pointer as parameter (A), but sometimes soc-dapm.c
needs to use snd_soc_card (B).

(A)	static inline void snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock(struct snd_soc_dapm_context *dapm)
	{
		mutex_lock_nested(&dapm->card->dapm_mutex, SND_SOC_DAPM_CLASS_RUNTIME);
	}			   ^^^^^^^^^^

(B)	mutex_lock_nested(&card->dapm_mutex, SND_SOC_DAPM_CLASS_RUNTIME);
			   ^^^^

2nd reason is it want to use SND_SOC_DAPM_CLASS_INIT for mutex_lock_nested(),
but helper is using _RUNTIME (A).

The conclusion is we want to use "dapm vs card" and "_RUNTIME vs _INIT"
for dapm lock/unlock. To enable this selfish request, this patch uses
_Generic macro. We can use snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock/unlock() for both
dapm and card case.

	snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock(dapm);	snd_soc_dapm_mutex_unlock(dapm);
	snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock(card);	snd_soc_dapm_mutex_unlock(card);

Current soc-dapm.c is using both mutex_lock() and mutex_lock_nested().
This patch handles mutex_lock() as mutex_lock_nested(..., 0),
in other words, handles below as same.

	mutex_lock(&card->dapm_mutex);
	mutex_lock_nested(&card->dapm_mutex, SND_SOC_DAPM_CLASS_INIT);

Because people might misunderstand that _init() is mutex initialization,
this patch renames _INIT to _ROOT and adds new
snd_soc_dapm_mutex_lock_root() for it.

This patch also moves snd_soc_dapm_subclass definition from soc-dapm.h
to soc.h to keep related code together.

Because very complex soc.h vs soc-dapm.h relationship,
it is difficult/impossible to define these helper into soc-dapm.h.

ASoC: soc-core: Replace zero-length array with flexible-array
The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language
extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare
variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2],
introduced in C99:

struct foo {
        int stuff;
        struct boo array[];
};

By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning
in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which
will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being
inadvertently introduced[3] to the codebase from now on.

Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by
this change:

"Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator
may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of
zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1]

sizeof(flexible-array-member) triggers a warning because flexible array
members have incomplete type[1]. There are some instances of code in
which the sizeof operator is being incorrectly/erroneously applied to
zero-length arrays and the result is zero. Such instances may be hiding
some bugs. So, this work (flexible-array member conversions) will also
help to get completely rid of those sorts of issues.

This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle.

ASoC: soc-dapm: add snd_soc_dapm_stream_stop()
When we stop stream, if it was Playback, we might need to care
about power down time. In such case, we need to use delayed work.

We have same implementation for it at soc-pcm.c and soc-compress.c,
but we don't want to have duplicate code.
This patch adds snd_soc_dapm_stream_stop(), and share same code.

ASoC: soc-core: add snd_soc_dapm_init()
It is easy to read code if it is cleanly using paired function/naming,
like start <-> stop, register <-> unregister, etc, etc.
But, current ALSA SoC code is very random, unbalance, not paired, etc.
It is easy to create bug at the such code, and it will be difficult to
debug.

soc-dapm has snd_soc_dapm_free() which cleanups debugfs, widgets, list.
But, there is no paired initialize function.
This patch adds snd_soc_dapm_init() and initilaizing dapm

ASoC: dapm: Only power up active channels from a DAI
Currently all widgets attached to a DAI link will be powered
up when the DAI is active, however this may include routes
that are not actually in use if there are unused channels
available on the DAI.

The macros for creating AIF widgets already include an entry for
slot, it is proposed to change that to channel. The effective
difference here being respresenting the logical channel index
rather than the physical slot index. The CODECs currently
using the slot entry on the DAPM_AIF macros are using it in
a manner consistent with this, the CODECs not using it just
have the field set to zero.

A variable is added to snd_soc_dapm_widget to represent
this channel index and then for each AIF widget attached to
a DAI this is compared against the number of channels on
the stream. Enabling the links for those which will be in
use. This has the nice property that the CODECs which haven't
used the slot/channel entry in the macro will function exactly
as before due to all the AIF widgets having a channel of zero
and a stream by definition having at least one channel.

ASoC: dapm: Fix NULL pointer deference on CODEC to CODEC DAIs
Commit a655de808c ("ASoC: core: Allow topology to override
machine driver FE DAI link config.") caused soc_dai_hw_params to
be come dependent on the substream private_data being set with
a pointer to the snd_soc_pcm_runtime. Currently, CODEC to CODEC
links don't set this, which causes a NULL pointer dereference:

[<4069de54>] (soc_dai_hw_params) from
[<40694b68>] (snd_soc_dai_link_event+0x1a0/0x380)

Since the ASoC core in general assumes that the substream
private_data will be set to a pointer to the snd_soc_pcm_runtime,
update the CODEC to CODEC links to respect this.
