27a6dea3eb genirq/msi: Provide msi_create/free_device_irq_domain()
Now that all prerequsites are in place, provide the actual interfaces for
creating and removing per device interrupt domains.

MSI device interrupt domains are created from the provided
msi_domain_template which is duplicated so that it can be modified for the
particular device.

The name of the domain and the name of the interrupt chip are composed by
"$(PREFIX)$(CHIPNAME)-$(DEVNAME)"

  $PREFIX:   The optional prefix provided by the underlying MSI parent domain
             via msi_parent_ops::prefix.
  $CHIPNAME: The name of the irq_chip in the template
  $DEVNAME:  The name of the device

The domain is further initialized through a MSI parent domain callback which
fills in the required functionality for the parent domain or domains further
down the hierarchy. This initialization can fail, e.g. when the requested
feature or MSI domain type cannot be supported.

The domain pointer is stored in the pointer array inside of msi_device_data
which is attached to the domain.

The domain can be removed via the API or left for disposal via devres when
the device is torn down. The API removal is useful e.g. for PCI to have
seperate domains for MSI and MSI-X, which are mutually exclusive and always
occupy the default domain id slot.

61bf992fc6 genirq/msi: Add size info to struct msi_domain_info
To allow proper range checking especially for dynamic allocations add a
size field to struct msi_domain_info. If the field is 0 then the size is
unknown or unlimited (up to MSI_MAX_INDEX) to provide backwards
compability.

ebca4396ee genirq/msi: Provide data structs for per device domains
Provide struct msi_domain_template which contains a bundle of struct
irq_chip, struct msi_domain_ops and struct msi_domain_info and a name
field.

This template is used by MSI device domain implementations to provide the
domain specific functionality, feature bits etc.

When a MSI domain is created the template is duplicated in the core code
so that it can be modified per instance. That means templates can be
marked const at the MSI device domain code.

The template is a bundle to avoid several allocations and duplications
of the involved structures.

The name field is used to construct the final domain and chip name via:

    $PREFIX$NAME-$DEVNAME

where prefix is the optional prefix of the MSI parent domain, $NAME is the
provided name in template::chip and the device name so that the domain
is properly identified. On x86 this results for PCI/MSI in:

   PCI-MSI-0000:3d:00.1 or IR-PCI-MSIX-0000:3d:00.1

depending on the domain type and the availability of remapping.

b78780d93b genirq/msi: Provide struct msi_parent_ops
MSI parent domains must have some control over the MSI domains which are
built on top. On domain creation they need to fill in e.g. architecture
specific chip callbacks or msi domain ops to make the outermost domain
parent agnostic which is obviously required for architecture independence
etc.

The structure contains:

    1) A bitfield which exposes the supported functional features. This
       allows to check for features and is also used in the initialization
       callback to mask out unsupported features when the actual domain
       implementation requests a broader range, e.g. on x86 PCI multi-MSI
       is only supported by remapping domains but not by the underlying
       vector domain. The PCI/MSI code can then always request multi-MSI
       support, but the resulting feature set after creation might not
       have it set.

    2) An optional string prefix which is put in front of domain and chip
       names during creation of the MSI domain. That allows to keep the
       naming schemes e.g. on x86 where PCI-MSI domains have a IR- prefix
       when interrupt remapping is enabled.

    3) An initialization callback to sanity check the domain info of
       the to be created MSI domain, to restrict features and to
       apply changes in MSI ops and interrupt chip callbacks to
       accomodate to the particular MSI parent implementation and/or
       the underlying hierarchy.

Add a conveniance function to delegate the initialization from the
MSI parent domain to an underlying domain in the hierarchy.

2d958b02b0 genirq/msi: Rearrange MSI domain flags
These flags got added as necessary and have no obvious structure. For
feature support checks and masking it's convenient to have two blocks of
flags:

   1) Flags to control the internal behaviour like allocating/freeing
      MSI descriptors. Those flags do not need any support from the
      underlying MSI parent domain. They are mostly under the control
      of the outermost domain which implements the actual MSI support.

   2) Flags to expose features, e.g. PCI multi-MSI or requirements
      which can depend on a underlying domain.

No functional change.

	Handles a caller defined precise range

  - msi_domain_alloc_irqs_all():

	Allocates all interrupts associated to a domain by scanning the
    	allocated MSI descriptors

The latter is useful for the existing PCI/MSI support which does not have
range information available.

94ff94cfea genirq/msi: Make MSI descriptor iterators device domain aware
To support multiple MSI interrupt domains per device it is necessary to
segment the xarray MSI descriptor storage. Each domain gets up to
MSI_MAX_INDEX entries.

Change the iterators so they operate with domain ids and take the domain
offsets into account.

The publicly available iterators which are mostly used in legacy
implementations and the PCI/MSI core default to MSI_DEFAULT_DOMAIN (0)
which is the id for the existing "global" domains.

No functional change.

64258eaa44 genirq/msi: Add pointers for per device irq domains
With the upcoming per device MSI interrupt domain support it is necessary
to store the domain pointers per device.

Instead of delegating that storage to device drivers or subsystems add a
domain pointer to the msi_dev_domain array in struct msi_device_data.

This pointer is also used to take care of tearing down the irq domains when
msi_device_data is cleaned up via devres.

The interfaces into the MSI core will be changed from irqdomain pointer
based interfaces to domain id based interfaces to support multiple MSI
domains on a single device (e.g. PCI/MSI[-X] and PCI/IMS.

Once the per device domain support is complete the irq domain pointer in
struct device::msi.domain will not longer contain a pointer to the "global"
MSI domain. It will contain a pointer to the MSI parent domain instead.

It would be a horrible maze of conditionals to evaluate all over the place
which domain pointer should be used, i.e. the "global" one in
device::msi::domain or one from the internal pointer array.

To avoid this evaluate in msi_setup_device_data() whether the irq domain
which is associated to a device is a "global" or a parent MSI domain. If it
is global then copy the pointer into the first entry of the msi_dev_domain
array.

This allows to convert interfaces and implementation to domain ids while
keeping everything existing working.

f1139f905b genirq/msi: Move xarray into a separate struct and create an array
The upcoming support for multiple MSI domains per device requires storage
for the MSI descriptors and in a second step storage for the irqdomain
pointers.

Move the xarray into a separate data structure msi_dev_domain and create an
array with size 1 in msi_device_data, which can be expanded later when the
support for per device domains is implemented.

	depends on PCI_MSI
	select GENERIC_MSI_IRQ_DOMAIN

Ergo PCI_MSI enables PCI_MSI_IRQ_DOMAIN which in turn selects
GENERIC_MSI_IRQ_DOMAIN. So all the dependencies on PCI_MSI_IRQ_DOMAIN are
just an indirection to PCI_MSI.

Match the reality and just admit that PCI_MSI requires
GENERIC_MSI_IRQ_DOMAIN.

cd6cf06590 genirq/msi: Convert storage to xarray
The current linked list storage for MSI descriptors is suboptimal in
several ways:

  1) Looking up a MSI desciptor requires a O(n) list walk in the worst case

  2) The upcoming support of runtime expansion of MSI-X vectors would need
     to do a full list walk to figure out whether a particular index is
     already associated.

  3) Runtime expansion of sparse allocations is even more complex as the
     current implementation assumes an ordered list (increasing MSI index).

Use an xarray which solves all of the above problems nicely.

bf5e758f02 genirq/msi: Simplify sysfs handling
The sysfs handling for MSI is a convoluted maze and it is in the way of
supporting dynamic expansion of the MSI-X vectors because it only supports
a one off bulk population/free of the sysfs entries.

Change it to do:

   1) Creating an empty sysfs attribute group when msi_device_data is
      allocated

   2) Populate the entries when the MSI descriptor is initialized

   3) Free the entries when a MSI descriptor is detached from a Linux
      interrupt.

   4) Provide functions for the legacy non-irqdomain fallback code to
      do a bulk population/free. This code won't support dynamic
      expansion.

This makes the code simpler and reduces the number of allocations as the
empty attribute group can be shared.

There is no real reason to do several loops over the MSI descriptors
instead of just doing one loop. In case of an error everything is undone
anyway so it does not matter whether it's a partial or a full rollback.

6029052536 genirq/msi: Provide msi_alloc_msi_desc() and a simple allocator
Provide msi_alloc_msi_desc() which takes a template MSI descriptor for
initializing a newly allocated descriptor. This allows to simplify various
usage sites of alloc_msi_entry() and moves the storage handling into the
core code.

For simple cases where only a linear vector space is required provide
msi_add_simple_msi_descs() which just allocates a linear range of MSI
descriptors and fills msi_desc::msi_index accordingly.

Usage sites which do allocations of the MSI descriptors before invoking
msi_domain_alloc_irqs() require to lock the MSI decriptors accross the
operation.

Provide entry points which can be called with the MSI mutex held and lock
the mutex in the existing entry points.

dev_msi_info, which is part of struct device. Provide an allocator function

9c8e9c9681 PCI/MSI: Move non-mask check back into low level accessors
The recent rework of PCI/MSI[X] masking moved the non-mask checks from the
low level accessors into the higher level mask/unmask functions.

This missed the fact that these accessors can be invoked from other places
as well. The missing checks break XEN-PV which sets pci_msi_ignore_mask and
also violates the virtual MSIX and the msi_attrib.maskbit protections.

Instead of sprinkling checks all over the place, lift them back into the
low level accessor functions. To avoid checking three different conditions
combine them into one property of msi_desc::msi_attrib.

msi_desc::masked is a misnomer. For MSI it's used to cache the MSI mask
bits when the device supports per vector masking. For MSI-X it's used to
cache the content of the vector control word which contains the mask bit
for the vector.

Replace it with a union of msi_mask and msix_ctrl to make the purpose clear
and fix up the usage sites.

3998527d2e s390/pci: Do not mask MSI[-X] entries on teardown
The PCI core already ensures that the MSI[-X] state is correct when MSI[-X]
is disabled. For MSI the reset state is all entries unmasked and for MSI-X
all vectors are masked.

S390 masks all MSI entries and masks the already masked MSI-X entries
again. Remove it and let the device in the correct state.

77e89afc25 PCI/MSI: Protect msi_desc::masked for multi-MSI
Multi-MSI uses a single MSI descriptor and there is a single mask register
when the device supports per vector masking. To avoid reading back the mask
register the value is cached in the MSI descriptor and updates are done by
clearing and setting bits in the cache and writing it to the device.

But nothing protects msi_desc::masked and the mask register from being
modified concurrently on two different CPUs for two different Linux
interrupts which belong to the same multi-MSI descriptor.

Add a lock to struct device and protect any operation on the mask and the
mask register with it.

This makes the update of msi_desc::masked unconditional, but there is no
place which requires a modification of the hardware register without
updating the masked cache.

msi_mask_irq() is now an empty wrapper which will be cleaned up in follow
up changes.

The problem goes way back to the initial support of multi-MSI, but picking
the commit which introduced the mask cache is a valid cut off point
(2.6.30).

4c457e8cb7 genirq/msi: Activate Multi-MSI early when MSI_FLAG_ACTIVATE_EARLY is set
When MSI_FLAG_ACTIVATE_EARLY is set (which is the case for PCI),
__msi_domain_alloc_irqs() performs the activation of the interrupt (which
in the case of PCI results in the endpoint being programmed) as soon as the
interrupt is allocated.

But it appears that this is only done for the first vector, introducing an
inconsistent behaviour for PCI Multi-MSI.

Fix it by iterating over the number of vectors allocated to each MSI
descriptor. This is easily achieved by introducing a new
"for_each_msi_vector" iterator, together with a tiny bit of refactoring.

an union.

The arch_.*_msi_irq[s] fallbacks are compiled in whether an architecture
requires them or not. Architectures which are fully utilizing hierarchical
irq domains should never call into that code.

It's not only architectures which depend on that by implementing one or
more of the weak functions, there is also a bunch of drivers which relies
on the weak functions which invoke msi_controller::setup_irq[s] and
msi_controller::teardown_irq.

Make the architectures and drivers which rely on them select them in Kconfig
and if not selected replace them by stub functions which emit a warning and
fail the PCI/MSI interrupt allocation.

43e9e705dd irqdomain/msi: Allow to override msi_domain_alloc/free_irqs()
To support MSI irq domains which do not fit at all into the regular MSI
irqdomain scheme, like the XEN MSI interrupt management for PV/HVM/DOM0,
it's necessary to allow to override the alloc/free implementation.

This is a preperatory step to switch X86 away from arch_*_msi_irqs() and
store the irq domain pointer right in struct device.

No functional change for existing MSI irq domain users.

Aside of the evil XEN wrapper this is also useful for special MSI domains
which need to do extra alloc/free work before/after calling the generic
core function. Work like allocating/freeing MSI descriptors, MSI storage
space etc.

d7cc609fb6 PCI/MSI: Support allocating virtual MSI interrupts
For NTB devices, we want to be able to trigger MSI interrupts
through a memory window. In these cases we may want to use
more interrupts than the NTB PCI device has available in its MSI-X
table.

We allow for this by creating a new 'virtual' interrupt. These
interrupts are allocated as usual but are not programmed into the
MSI-X table (as there may not be space for them).

The MSI address and data will then handled through an NTB MSI library
introduced later in this series.

aaebdf8d68 genirq/msi: Add a new field in msi_desc to store an IOMMU cookie
When an MSI doorbell is located downstream of an IOMMU, it is required
to swizzle the physical address with an appropriately-mapped IOVA for any
device attached to one of our DMA ops domain.

At the moment, the allocation of the mapping may be done when composing
the message. However, the composing may be done in non-preemtible
context while the allocation requires to be called from preemptible
context.

A follow-up change will split the current logic in two functions
requiring to keep an IOMMU cookie per MSI.

A new field is introduced in msi_desc to store an IOMMU cookie. As the
cookie may not be required in some configuration, the field is protected
under a new config CONFIG_IRQ_MSI_IOMMU.

A pair of helpers has also been introduced to access the field.

49b323157b soc: ti: Add MSI domain bus support for Interrupt Aggregator
With the system coprocessor managing the range allocation of the
inputs to Interrupt Aggregator, it is difficult to represent
the device IRQs from DT.

The suggestion is to use MSI in such cases where devices wants
to allocate and group interrupts dynamically.

Create a MSI domain bus layer that allocates and frees MSIs for
a device.

APIs that are implemented:
- ti_sci_inta_msi_create_irq_domain() that creates a MSI domain
- ti_sci_inta_msi_domain_alloc_irqs() that creates MSIs for the
  specified device and resource.
- ti_sci_inta_msi_domain_free_irqs() frees the irqs attached to the device.
- ti_sci_inta_msi_get_virq() for getting the virq attached to a specific event.

bec04037e4 genirq/core: Introduce struct irq_affinity_desc
The interrupt affinity management uses straight cpumask pointers to convey
the automatically assigned affinity masks for managed interrupts. The core
interrupt descriptor allocation also decides based on the pointer being non
NULL whether an interrupt is managed or not.

Devices which use managed interrupts usually have two classes of
interrupts:

  - Interrupts for multiple device queues
  - Interrupts for general device management

Currently both classes are treated the same way, i.e. as managed
interrupts. The general interrupts get the default affinity mask assigned
while the device queue interrupts are spread out over the possible CPUs.

Treating the general interrupts as managed is both a limitation and under
certain circumstances a bug. Assume the following situation:

 default_irq_affinity = 4..7

So if CPUs 4-7 are offlined, then the core code will shut down the device
management interrupts because the last CPU in their affinity mask went
offline.

It's also a limitation because it's desired to allow manual placement of
the general device interrupts for various reasons. If they are marked
managed then the interrupt affinity setting from both user and kernel space
is disabled.

To remedy that situation it's required to convey more information than the
cpumasks through various interfaces related to interrupt descriptor
allocation.

Instead of adding yet another argument, create a new data structure
'irq_affinity_desc' which for now just contains the cpumask. This struct
can be expanded to convey auxilliary information in the next step.

No functional change, just preparatory work.

81b1e6e6a8 platform-msi: Free descriptors in platform_msi_domain_free()
Since the addition of platform MSI support, there were two helpers
supposed to allocate/free IRQs for a device:

    platform_msi_domain_alloc_irqs()
    platform_msi_domain_free_irqs()

In these helpers, IRQ descriptors are allocated in the "alloc" routine
while they are freed in the "free" one.

Later, two other helpers have been added to handle IRQ domains on top
of MSI domains:

    platform_msi_domain_alloc()
    platform_msi_domain_free()

Seen from the outside, the logic is pretty close with the former
helpers and people used it with the same logic as before: a
platform_msi_domain_alloc() call should be balanced with a
platform_msi_domain_free() call. While this is probably what was
intended to do, the platform_msi_domain_free() does not remove/free
the IRQ descriptor(s) created/inserted in
platform_msi_domain_alloc().

One effect of such situation is that removing a module that requested
an IRQ will let one orphaned IRQ descriptor (with an allocated MSI
entry) in the device descriptors list. Next time the module will be
inserted back, one will observe that the allocation will happen twice
in the MSI domain, one time for the remaining descriptor, one time for
the new one. It also has the side effect to quickly overshoot the
maximum number of allocated MSI and then prevent any module requesting
an interrupt in the same domain to be inserted anymore.

This situation has been met with loops of insertion/removal of the
mvpp2.ko module (requesting 15 MSIs each time).

1f83515beb genirq/msi: Allow creation of a tree-based irqdomain for platform-msi
platform_msi_create_device_domain() always creates a revmap-based
irqdomain, which has the drawback of requiring the number of MSIs
that can be allocated ahead of time. This is not always possible,
and we sometimes need to use a tree-based irqdomain instead.

Add a new platform_msi_create_device_tree_domain() helper to
that effect.

0be8153cbc genirq/msi: Allow level-triggered MSIs to be exposed by MSI providers
So far, MSIs have been used to signal edge-triggered interrupts, as
a write is a good model for an edge (you can't "unwrite" something).
On the other hand, routing zillions of wires in an SoC because you
need level interrupts is a bit extreme.

People have come up with a variety of schemes to support this, which
involves sending two messages: one to signal the interrupt, and one
to clear it. Since the kernel cannot represent this, we've ended up
with side-band mechanisms that are pretty awful.

Instead, let's acknoledge the requirement, and ensure that, under the
right circumstances, the irq_compose_msg and irq_write_msg can take
as a parameter an array of two messages instead of a pointer to a
single one. We also add some checking that the compose method only
clobbers the second message if the MSI domain has been created with
the MSI_FLAG_LEVEL_CAPABLE flags.

b24413180f License cleanup: add SPDX GPL-2.0 license identifier to files with no license
Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which
makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license.

By default all files without license information are under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2.

Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0'
SPDX license identifier.  The SPDX identifier is a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.

This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne.

How this work was done:

Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of
the use cases:
 - file had no licensing information it it.
 - file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it,
 - file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information,

Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases
where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license
had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords.

The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to
a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the
output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX
tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne.  Philippe prepared the
base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files.

The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files
assessed.  Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner
results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s)
to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not
immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.

Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was:
 - Files considered eligible had to be source code files.
 - Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5
   lines of source
 - File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5
   lines).

All documentation files were explicitly excluded.

The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license
identifiers to apply.

 - when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was
   considered to have no license information in it, and the top level
   COPYING file license applied.

   For non */uapi/* files that summary was:

 - when the two scanners agreed on the detected license(s), that became
   the concluded license(s).

 - when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a
   license but the other didn't, or they both detected different
   licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred.

 - In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file
   resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and
   which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics).

 - When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was
   confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.

 - If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier,
   the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later
   in time.

In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the
spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the
source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation
by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.

Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from
FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners
disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights.  The
Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so
they are related.

Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets
for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the
files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks
in about 15000 files.

In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have
copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the
correct identifier.

Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual
inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch
version early this week with:
 - a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected
   license ids and scores
 - reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+
   files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct
 - reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license
   was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied
   SPDX license was correct

This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction.  This
worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the
different types of files to be modified.

These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg.  Thomas wrote a script to
parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the
format that the file expected.  This script was further refined by Greg
based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to
distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different
comment types.)  Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to
generate the patches.

2f44e29cef genirq/msi: Add stubs for get_cached_msi_msg/pci_write_msi_msg
A bug fix to the MSIx handling in vfio added references to functions
that may not be defined if MSI is disabled in the kernel, resulting in
this link error:

drivers/built-in.o: In function `vfio_msi_set_vector_signal':
:(.text+0x450808): undefined reference to `get_cached_msi_msg'
:(.text+0x45080c): undefined reference to `write_msi_msg'

As suggested by Alex Williamson, add stub implementations for
get_cached_msi_msg() and pci_write_msi_msg().

In case this bugfix gets backported, please note that the #ifdef
has changed over time, originally both functions were implemented
in drivers/pci/msi.c and controlled by CONFIG_PCI_MSI, while nowadays
get_cached_msi_msg() is part of the generic MSI support and can be
used without PCI.

28f4b04143 genirq/msi: Add cpumask allocation to alloc_msi_entry
For irq spreading want to store affinity masks in the msi_entry. Add the
infrastructure for it.

We allocate an array of cpumasks with an array size of the number of used
vectors in the entry, so we can hand in the information per linux interrupt
later.

As we hand in the number of used vectors, we assign them right
away. Convert all the call sites.

f3b0946d62 genirq/msi: Make sure PCI MSIs are activated early
Bharat Kumar Gogada reported issues with the generic MSI code, where the
end-point ended up with garbage in its MSI configuration (both for the vector
and the message).

It turns out that the two MSI paths in the kernel are doing slightly different
things:

generic MSI: disable MSI -> allocate MSI -> enable MSI -> setup EP
PCI MSI: disable MSI -> allocate MSI -> setup EP -> enable MSI

And it turns out that end-points are allowed to latch the content of the MSI
configuration registers as soon as MSIs are enabled.  In Bharat's case, the
end-point ends up using whatever was there already, which is not what you
want.

In order to make things converge, we introduce a new MSI domain flag
(MSI_FLAG_ACTIVATE_EARLY) that is unconditionally set for PCI/MSI. When set,
this flag forces the programming of the end-point as soon as the MSIs are
allocated.

A consequence of this is that we have an extra activate in irq_startup, but
that should be without much consequence.

tglx: 

 - Several people reported a VMWare regression with PCI/MSI-X passthrough. It
   turns out that the patch also cures that issue.

 - We need to have a look at the MSI disable interrupt path, where we write
   the msg to all zeros without disabling MSI in the PCI device. Is that
   correct?

552c494a76 platform-msi: Allow creation of a MSI-based stacked irq domain
We almost have all the needed bits requiredable to create a irq domain
on top of a MSI domain.

For this, we enable a few things:
- the virq is stored in the msi_desc
- device, msi_alloc_info and domain-specific data
  are stored in the platform_priv_data structure
- we introduce a new API for platform-msi:

platform_msi_create_device_domain() is a hybrid of irqdomain creation
and interrupt allocation, creating a domain backed by the MSIs associated
to a device. IRQs can then be allocated in that domain using
platform_msi_domain_alloc().

This now allows a wired irq to MSI bridge to be created.

b2eba39bca genirq/msi: Make the .prepare callback reusable
The .prepare callbacks are so far only called from msi_domain_alloc_irqs.
In order to reuse that code, split that code and create a
msi_domain_prepare_irqs function that the existing code can call into.
