This patch adds Victus 16-r1xxx laptop DMI board name into existing

The following patch adds support for HP Victus 16-s1000 laptop series,
by adding and fixing the following functionalities, which can be
accessed through hwmon and platform_profile sysfs:
- Functional measured fan speed reading
- Ability to enable and disable maximum fan speed
- Platform profiles full setting ability for CPU and GPU
It sets appropriates CPU and GPU power settings both on AC and battery
power sources, for low-power, balanced and performance modes.
It has been thoroughly tested on a 16-s1034nf laptop based on a 8C9C DMI
board name, and behavior of the driver on previous boards is left
untouched thanks to the separated lists of DMI board names.

In order to protect the platform_profile_handler from API consumers,
allocate it in platform_profile_register() and modify it's signature
accordingly.
Remove the platform_profile_handler from all consumer drivers and
replace them with a pointer to the class device, which is
now returned from platform_profile_register().
Replace *pprof with a pointer to the class device in the rest of
exported symbols.

The HP OMEN 8 (2022), corresponding to a board ID of 8A15, supports OMEN
thermal profile and requires the timed profile quirk.
Upon adding this ID to both the omen_thermal_profile_boards and
omen_timed_thermal_profile_boards, significant bump in performance can be
observed. For instance, SilverBench (https://silver.urih.com/) results
improved from ~56,000 to ~69,000, as a result of higher power draws (and
thus core frequencies) whilst under load:
Package Power:
- Before the patch: ~65W (dropping to about 55W under sustained load).
- After the patch: ~115W (dropping to about 105W under sustained load).
Core Power:
- Before: ~60W (ditto above).
- After: ~108W (ditto above).
Add 8A15 to omen_thermal_profile_boards and
omen_timed_thermal_profile_boards to improve performance.

After commit 0edb555a65 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.
Convert all platform drivers below drivers/platform/x86/ to use
.remove(), with the eventual goal to drop struct
platform_driver::remove_new(). As .remove() and .remove_new() have the
same prototypes, conversion is done by just changing the structure
member name in the driver initializer.
While touching these files, make indention of the struct initializer
consistent in several files.

The current legacy WMI handlers are susceptible to picking up wrong
WMI event data on systems where different WMI devices share some
notification IDs.
Prevent this by letting the WMI driver core taking care of retrieving
the event data. This also simplifies the legacy WMI handlers and their
implementation inside the WMI driver core.

Fix a platform profile option switch/getter bug on some Omen and Victus
laptops dismissing userspace choice when selecting performance mode in
inadequate conditions (e.g. by being disconnected from the AC power plug)
by
- hooking an ACPI notify handler through the
omen_register_powersource_event_handler method that listens to AC
power source changes (plugging in/out the AC power plug)
- keeping an intermediate active_platform_profile variable that is
set when userspace changes the platform profile setting
- restoring the selected platform profile kept in
active_platform_profile when AC power is plugged back into the
laptop through the power_supply_is_system_supplied call check,
unless if the user decided to alter the platform profile mid-way
Add a dependency to the POWER_SUPPLY subsystem to be able to check for
power_supply_is_system_supplied.
Introduce intermediary functions to leverage platform profile <->
internal thermal profile translation code from platform_profile_omen_set
and callers.
These changes makes the module compliant with the principles defined in
the Platform Profile Selection page of the Kernel documentation on those
kind of laptops; which is to not "(...) let userspace know about any
sub-optimal conditions which are impeding reaching the requested
performance level".
Since the Omen and Victus laptops share the same embedded controller
system, the fix is applicable to both categories of laptops.

Add 8BAD to the list of boards which have thermal profile selection
available. This allows the CPU to draw more power than the default TDP
barrier defined by the 'balanced' thermal profile (around 50W), hence
allowing it to perform better without being throttled by the embedded
controller (around 130W).
We first need to set the HP_OMEN_EC_THERMAL_PROFILE_TIMER_OFFSET to zero.
This prevents the timer countdown from reaching zero, making the embedded
controller "force-switch" the system's thermal profile back to 'balanced'
automatically.
We also need to put a number of specific flags in
HP_OMEN_EC_THERMAL_PROFILE_FLAGS_OFFSET when we're switching to another
thermal profile:
- for 'performance', we need to set both HP_OMEN_EC_FLAGS_TURBO and
HP_OMEN_EC_FLAGS_NOTIMER;
- for 'balanced' and 'powersave', we clear out the register to notify
the system that we want to lower the TDP barrier as soon as possible.
The third flag defined in the hp_thermal_profile_omen_flags enum,
HP_OMEN_EC_FLAGS_JUSTSET, is present for completeness.
To prevent potential behaviour breakage with other Omen models, a
separate omen_timed_thermal_profile_boards array has been added to list
which boards expose this behaviour.
Performance benchmarking was done with the help of silver.urih.com and
Google Chrome 120.0.6099.129, on Gnome 45.2, with the 'performance'
thermal profile set:

The TDP measurements were done with the help of the s-tui utility,
during the load.
There is still work to be done:
- tune the CPU and GPU fans to better cool down and enhance
performance at the right time; right now, it seems that the fans are
not properly reacting to thermal/performance events, which in turn
either causes thermal throttling OR makes the fans spin way too long,
even though the temperatures have lowered down
- expose the CPU and GPU fan curves to user-land so that they can be
controlled just like what the Omen Gaming Hub utility proposes to
its users;

This commit performs four things:
- fix up the GUID string inconsistency (lower case 'e') from the
WMI module alias declaration/macro definition
- separate GUID macros from the embedded controller offset macros
- rename the description of the module to better represent what it
actually achieves as a whole
- add a space right before the '*' pointer qualifier to match the
other array declarations
This also prepares the terrain for integrating support work for boards
identified as '8BAD', which corresponds to HP's Omen 17 ck2xxx models.

The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.
To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new(), which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove().
Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

Previously, some support for certain keys on the HP keyboard has been
added already in commit 3ee5447b20 ("platform/x86: hp-wmi: Handle Omen
Key event"), however this as tested did not allow even the fn+esc key on
my HP Envy which uses the same keycode on my HP Envy x360 laptop to work
--the keycode rather than being passed in as a separate int from WMI, was
being passed in as the event_data for the HPWMI_OMEN_KEY event.
This patch, as tested was able to properly get the keycode for fn+esc,
and for fn+f12 which is supposed to be a programmable key according to
HP's keyboard diagram and is thus mapped to KEY_PROG2. The fn+f8 key
combination (mute microphone) was a standard HPWMI_BEZEL_BUTTON key,
however it did not previously have an entry in the sparse keymap. This
patch preserves the original HPWMI_OMEN_KEY behavior for laptops that
use it by only taking the keycode from the event_data only when the
event_data is nonzero.

Previously, when the camera toggle switch was hit, the hp-wmi driver
would report an invalid event code. By adding a case for that in the
event handling switch statement we can eliminate that error code and
enable a framework for potential further kernel handling of that key.
This change was tested on my HP Envy x360 15-ey0023dx laptop, but it
would likely work for any HP laptop with a camera toggle button. Now
we emit an SW_CAMERA_LENS_COVER event, on a device that gets created
on the first such event so as to not report incorrectly the state of
the camera shutter before we can know its state.

There is a "Win-Lock" key on HP Omen Laptops which supports
enabling and disabling the Windows key, which trigger commands 0x21a4
and 0x121a4 respectively. Currently the hp-wmi driver throws warnings
for this event. These can be ignored using KE_IGNORE as the
functionality is handled by the keyboard firmware itself.

Add support to map the "HP Omen Key" to KEY_PROG2. Laptops in the HP
Omen Series open the HP Omen Command Center application on windows. But,
on linux it fails with the following message from the hp-wmi driver:

The purpose of this patch is to provide a central location where all
HP related drivers are found. HP drivers will recide under
drivers/platform/x86/hp directory.
Introduce changes to Kconfig file to list all HP driver under "HP X86
Platform Specific Device Drivers" menu option. Additional changes
include update MAINTAINERS file to indicate hp related drivers new
path.
