d9d87d90cc treewide: rename GPIO set callbacks back to their original names
The conversion of all GPIO drivers to using the .set_rv() and
.set_multiple_rv() callbacks from struct gpio_chip (which - unlike their
predecessors - return an integer and allow the controller drivers to
indicate failures to users) is now complete and the legacy ones have
been removed. Rename the new callbacks back to their original names in
one sweeping change.

9576e8d3c4 pinctrl: Use dev_fwnode()
irq_domain_create_simple() takes fwnode as the first argument. It can be
extracted from the struct device using dev_fwnode() helper instead of
using of_node with of_fwnode_handle().

So use the dev_fwnode() helper.

219182fe21 pinctrl: Switch to irq_domain_create_*()
irq_domain_add_*() interfaces are going away as being obsolete now.
Switch to the preferred irq_domain_create_*() ones. Those differ in the
node parameter: They take more generic struct fwnode_handle instead of
struct device_node. Therefore, of_fwnode_handle() is added around the
original parameter.

Note some of the users can likely use dev->fwnode directly instead of
indirect of_fwnode_handle(dev->of_node). But dev->fwnode is not
guaranteed to be set for all, so this has to be investigated on case to
case basis (by people who can actually test with the HW).

This warning is raised because pinctrl-at91-pio4 uses chained IRQ. Whenever
a wake up source configures an IRQ through irq_set_irq_wake, it will
lock the corresponding IRQ desc, and then call irq_set_irq_wake on "parent"
IRQ which will do the same on its own IRQ desc, but since those two locks
share the same class, lockdep reports this as an issue.

Fix lockdep false positive by setting a different class for parent and
children IRQ

   changed initiated by the irqchip maintainers.

 New drivers:

 - New driver for the NXP S32 SoC pin controller

 - As part of a thorough cleanup and restructuring of the
   Ralink/Mediatek drivers, the Ralink MIPS pin control drivers
   were folded into the Mediatek directory and the family is
   renamed "mtmips". The Ralink chips live on as Mediatek MIPS

cbde6c823b pinctrl: at91-pio4: Fix slew rate disablement
The slew rate was enabled by default for each configuration of the

Instead of enabling the slew rate by default for each pin configuration,
enable the slew rate by default just once per pin, regardless of the

b6071c8914 pinctrl: at91-pio4: add support for fewer lines on last PIO bank
Some products, like sama7g5, do not have a full last bank of PIO lines.

PA0-31, PB0-31, PC0-31, PD0-31, PE0-7, in total 136 lines.
To cope with this situation, added a data attribute that is product dependent,
to specify the number of lines of the last bank.
In case this number is different from the macro ATMEL_PIO_NPINS_PER_BANK,
adjust the total number of lines accordingly.
This will avoid advertising 160 lines instead of the actual 136, as this

Add support for the drive strength configuration. Usually, this value is
expressed in mA. Since the numeric value depends on VDDIOP voltage, a
value we can't retrieve at runtime, the controller uses low, medium and

The PIO controller accepts two values for the low drive configuration: 0
and 1. Most of the time, we don't care about the drive strength. So we
keep the default value which is 0. The drive strength is advertised
through the sysfs only when it has been explicitly set in the device

a86854d0c5 treewide: devm_kzalloc() -> devm_kcalloc()
The devm_kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, devm_kcalloc().
This patch replaces cases of:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, a * b, gfp)

with:
        devm_kcalloc(handle, a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        devm_kcalloc(handle, array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, 4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

Some manual whitespace fixes were needed in this patch, as Coccinelle
really liked to write "=devm_kcalloc..." instead of "= devm_kcalloc...".

The Coccinelle script used for this was:

2181636471 pinctrl: at91-pio4: add missing of_node_put
The device node iterators perform an of_node_get on each iteration, so a
jump out of the loop requires an of_node_put.

The semantic patch that fixes this problem is as follows
(http://coccinelle.lip6.fr):

// <smpl>
@@
expression root,e;
local idexpression child;
iterator name for_each_child_of_node;
@@

 for_each_child_of_node(root, child) {
   ... when != of_node_put(child)
       when != e = child
+  of_node_put(child);
?  break;
   ...
}
... when != child

8b74c7d3e3 pinctrl: at91-pio4: account for const type of of_device_id.data
This driver creates a const structure that it stores in the data field
of an of_device_id array.

Adding const to the declaration of the location that receives the
const value from the data field ensures that the compiler will
continue to check that the value is not modified. Furthermore, the
const-discarding cast on the extraction from the data field is no
longer needed.

Done using Coccinelle.

f5292d06c4 pinctrl: Convert to using %pOF instead of full_name
Now that we have a custom printf format specifier, convert users of
full_name to use %pOF instead. This is preparation to remove storing
of the full path string for each node.

f703851af0 pinctrl: at91-pio4: make it explicitly non-modular
The Kconfig currently controlling compilation of this code is:

drivers/pinctrl/Kconfig:config PINCTRL_AT91PIO4
drivers/pinctrl/Kconfig:        bool "AT91 PIO4 pinctrl driver"

...meaning that it currently is not being built as a module by anyone.

Lets remove the modular code that is essentially orphaned, so that
when reading the driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only.

We explicitly disallow a driver unbind, since that doesn't have a
sensible use case anyway, and it allows us to drop the ".remove"
code for non-modular drivers.

Since module_platform_driver() uses the same init level priority as
builtin_platform_driver() the init ordering remains unchanged with
this commit.

Also note that MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE is a no-op for non-modular code.

We also delete the MODULE_LICENSE tag etc. since all that information
is already contained at the top of the file in the comments.

5305a7b7e8 pinctrl: at91-pio4: fix pull-up/down logic
The default configuration of a pin is often with a value in the
pull-up/down field at chip reset. So, even if the internal logic of the
controller prevents writing a configuration with pull-up and pull-down at
the same time, we must ensure explicitly this condition before writing the
register.

This was leading to a pull-down condition not taken into account for
instance.
