The 802.11ax chip also needs rtw89_mac_cpu_io_rx(), which notifies Firmware
to start or stop WoWLAN and waits until Firmware process over. Then,
the driver can continue processing to avoid unexpected behavior.

There is a length limit on the commands we send to firmware, so
dividing to two commands is sometimes required when scanning.
When aborting scan, we should not send second scan command to
firmware after the first one is finished. This could cause some
unexpected errors when we cannot receive firmware events
(e.g. in suspend).
Another case is scan happens before suspending, ieee80211_do_stop() is
called to abort scan and driver indicate scan completion by
ieee80211_scan_completed(), which queues event to scan work. But scan work
might be late to execute after ieee80211_do_stop(). To correct this, driver
indicates ieee80211_scan_completed() before returning, so that
ieee80211_do_stop() can flush scan work properly.

On 802.11be chips, to consider MLO, HW doesn't design number
of support mac_id as large as before. And, it might be various
according to chip. For example, old chips support mac_id up to
128, but RTL8922a only supports mac_id up to 32.
Besides, the mac_id acquiring function will be extended when
impending MLO support.

Once we connect to AP with 802.11w enabled, IGTK rekey happen during GTK
happen. We get IGTK IPN from mac80211 and set to firmware, and get latest
IGTK IPN from AOAC report then update to mac80211 after resume. When rekey
happen, also update new IGTK key info to mac80211. Furthermore, We
construct SA query reply packet to firmware. If firmware received SA query
request from AP can transmit reply back when suspend.

When resume we parse AOAC report from firmware using H2C and C2H
registers before enable interrupt, then update PTK RX PN and GTK RX PN.
After enable interrupt, we parse AOAC report using H2C and C2H commands,
then update PTK TX PN and update new GTK key info if GTK rekey during
suspend. Furthermore, We update pattern match index if wakeup by pattern.

PTA(packet traffic arbitration) is a coexistence hardware feature.
Wi-Fi & Bluetooth owns their PTA, the function is to show whose PTA
control the traffic now. RTL8922A PTA control is controlled by hardware
logic, there is no register to monitor the setting.

Since WiFi 7 is expected to support MLO, so we should enable MAC-0/1 and
PHY-0/1. By default, set dbcc_en=true, change quota to DBCC mode, and set
MLO mode to 2 + 0 that means we only use 2x2 connection on MAC/PHY-0
for now.

For channel contexts, mac80211 currently uses the cfg80211
chandef struct (control channel, center freq(s), width) to
define towards drivers and internally how these behave. In
fact, there are _two_ such structs used, where the min_def
can reduce bandwidth according to the stations connected.
Unfortunately, with EHT this is longer be sufficient, at
least not for all hardware. EHT requires that non-AP STAs
that are connected to an AP with a lower bandwidth than it
(the AP) advertises (e.g. 160 MHz STA connected to 320 MHz
AP) still be able to receive downlink OFDMA and respond to
trigger frames for uplink OFDMA that specify the position
and bandwidth for the non-AP STA relative to the channel
the AP is using. Therefore, they need to be aware of this,
and at least for some hardware (e.g. Intel) this awareness
is in the hardware. As a result, use of the "same" channel
may need to be split over two channel contexts where they
differ by the AP being used.
As a first step, introduce a concept of a channel request
('chanreq') for each interface, to control the context it
requests. This step does nothing but reorganise the code,
so that later the AP's chandef can be added to the request
in order to handle the EHT case described above.

This adds support for hardware scan after FW version 0.34.35. Currently
we only support scanning on single hardware band and support of dual band
scan will be added in the future. Adjust the current flow to make driver
compatible with different generation ICs.

The channel field slightly differs between WiFi 6 and WiFi 7.
So we prepare some required functions in advance, this doesn't change
existing wifi 6 ICs behavior. This H2C prepares the channel list

To set TX/RX path or set channel, we need these helpers to stop TX and
restore settings. The sch_tx stands for scheduler TX channel, and the
cfg_ppdu is to stop reporting PPDU status, so we should stop them during
setting.

When disabling concurrent mode and switching to a single interface, the
TX might stuck. The reason is TBTT prohibit area circuit still enable
to block TX. To disable tbtt prohibit area circuit need to delay 2ms to
make it effective. However, we only delay 2us in original code. So we
fix it.

When STA connects to an AP and doesn't receive any beacon yet, the
hardware scan is triggered. This scan begins with the default TSF
value. Once STA receives a beacon when switches back to the operating
channel, its TSF synchronizes with the AP. However, if there is a
significant difference in TSF values between the default value and
the synchronized value, it will cause firmware fail to trigger
interrupt, and the C2H won't be sent out. As a result, the scan
continues until a timeout occurs. To fix this issue, we disable TSF
synchronization during scanning to prevent drastic TSF changes, and
enable TSF synchronization after scan.

To diagnose the reason why firmware or hardware get abnormal, add to dump
MAC registers related to counters and interrupt masks. With these values,
people can classify problems and check if registers values are unexpected,
and then correct them. However, it could possible false alarm because
firmware triggers this SER event by wrong conditions that we should
correct it at firmware or register settings.
In field, SER might happen under special conditions, and very hard to
happen again, so dump lots of registers to provide rich information to
catch the problem.

In concurrent mode, when STA interface is scanning, it causes
AP interface TX beacon on wrong channel. We modified it to scan
with the operating channel when one of the interfaces is already
connected. Additionally, STA interface need to stop scan when AP
interface is starting to avoid TX beacon on wrong channel. Finally,
AP interface need to stop TX beacon when STA interface is scanning
and switching to non-OP channel,This prevent other device to get
beacons on wrong channel.

The attempt to enter power save mode might fail if there are still
beacons pending in the queue. This sometimes happens after stopping
P2P GO or AP mode. Extend stop AP function and flush all beacons to
resolve this.

This function, currently called by WoWLAN flow, polls until specific HW
queues are empty. The polling bit definitions are not totally the same
between WiFi 6 and 7 chips. In addition, the check conditions are also
a little different. So, we differentiate the implementations according to
chip gen.

DLE stands for Double Link Engine that is used to maintain buffer page.
To avoid linking to wrong pages, we check the used page size during
initialization and stop driver probe if the used size is unexpected.
Currently, we check the page size used by PLE (payload engine) and WDE
(WiFi descriptor engine). For coming WiFi 7 chips, additional reserved
size is added for BB as buffer to run LA mode, so add and check the
reserved size as well.

When associated peer has beamformer capability, enable hardware beamformee
function, and then hardware can run sounding protocol itself. Oppositely,
disable this function when disassociated. Define different registers for

When TX size or time of packet over RTS threshold set by this register,
hardware will use RTS protection automatically. Since WiFi 6 and 7 chips
have different register address for this, separate the address according
to chip gen.

In MCC STA+GO mode, we calculate NoA information and fill it into the
beacon of P2P GO. Since NoA uses only 32 bits to describe time things,
we need to deal with renewal when TSF[63:32] is carried. We trigger FW
to notify that. Then, we can update NoA information for new time period
once we get notification from FW.

Though WiFi 7 chips need BB MCU firmware, we don't download it in probe
stage. Instead, only bring interface up under normal operation or WoWLAN
mode. So, add an argument to assist download flow to setup download
settings properly.

For WiFi 6 chips, there is only single one firmware i.e. WiFi CPU firmware,
so no need an argument to discriminate them. For WiFi 7 chips, BB MCU
firmware is introduced, and we need to check it ready after downloading.
For each type of firmware, we need to check corresponding hardware ready
bit. After downloading all firmware, check status code to determine if
all things are ready.

To download firmware, we need to check path is ready. There are two kinds
of path -- one is to download firmware header, and the other is to download
firmware body.
Since the polling method is different from WiFi 7 chips, make it to be
an individual function, and then we can reuse the download flow.

rx_filter is used to decide which kind of packets are received to driver,
or just dropped by MAC layer to reduce bus traffic.
The bit definitions of old and new chips are the sames, but only address
is changed, so define a field to generalize usage.

To diagnose abnormal behavior, we need to dump certain internal memory.
For example, dump security CAM when debugging encryption/decryption
problems, or dump BA CAM when debugging abnormal BlockAck.
Since the indirect address and internal memory base address are different
between WiFi 6 and 7 chips, add fields to reuse codes.
Also, only WiFi 6 chips initialize DMAC and CMAC tables via this indirect
interface, so no need to change the constant register address, and
new firmware will help to initialize these tables.

There are two copies of MAC hardware called band0 and band1. Basically,
the only difference between them is base address, so we can share functions
with a 'band' (or 'mac_idx') argument.
The offset of base address of WiFi 6 and 7 are 0x2000 and 0x4000
respectively, so add band1_offset field to new introduced struct
mac_gen_def to possibly reuse functions.

RX full flags are raised if certain types of RX FIFO are full, and then
drop all following MPDU of AMPDU. In order to resume to receive MPDU
when RX FIFO becomes available, we clear the register bits by the
commit a0d99ebb3e ("wifi: rtw89: initialize DMA of CMAC"). But, 8852AE
needs more settings to support this. To quickly fix disconnection problem,
revert the behavior as before.

Original firmware log which is sent via C2H message bloats
code size of firmware and is also length-limited. So we put
some common log into format file, and firmware could use a
log ID and some variables in C2H message to map a formatted
text via pre-designed rule.

The register-based H2C/C2H are used to exchange commands and events with
firmware. The exchange data is limited, but it is relatively simple,
because it can work before HCI initialization. To make these code clean,
use struct to access them. This patch doesn't change logic at all.

H2C of packet offload needs to wait FW ACK by C2H. But, it's possible
that packet offload happens during SER (system error recovery), e.g.
SER L2 which restarts HW. More, packet offload flow isn't deferrable.
So, the H2C wait may get `ret == 1` (unreachable).
However, the logic FW deals with packet offload is simple enough, just
clone content. It means that as long as the H2C is issued successfully,
the thing will succeed sooner or later. Therefore, after we add a debug
log when receiving ACK to packet offload, it would be acceptable that
during SER, packet offload don't really wait for ACK. And, if debugging,
we can still check its debug logs. Besides, we can expect that if we see
SER before receiving ACK to packet offload, those debug logs of the ACK
have a time difference.

For 8852CE, there is abnormal state called CMDPSR_FRZTO,
which occasionally happens in some platforms, and could be
found by firmware and fixed in current SER flow, so we add
suppress function to avoid verbose message for this resolved case.

Newer FW re-design SER (syetem error recovery) L1 (level 1) flow.
New L1 flow will expect two extra states before original L1 flow.
* Before:

Then before M1, FW gets one more interval to deal with things that FW
should have handled well. To consider backward/forward compatibility,

trigger control will change a little bit.) So, there will be two differnt
starting points of SER L1.
* old FW: SER L1 starts from M1
* new FW: SER L1 starts from pre-M0
Then, driver adds the new SER L1 entry and also keep the original one
instead of changing it.

The following are scan offload related H2C (host to chip) function types.
* H2C_FUNC_ADD_SCANOFLD_CH
* H2C_FUNC_SCANOFLD
Before doing FW scan, we will continuously send multiple H2Cs with above
types which are used to tell FW the scan configuration of this time. But,
if FW doesn't handle one of these H2Cs well, the FW scan process might
not run as expected and driver should notice it early.
So, this commits makes scan offload related H2Cs wait for FW done ACK via
rtw89_wait_for_cond() and rtw89_complete_cond(). And, we check the return
code of these H2Cs from FW.

We have some MAC H2Cs (host to chip packets), which have no clear
individual C2Hs (chip to host packets) to indicate FW execution
response, but they are going to require to wait for FW completion.
So, we have to deal with this via common MAC C2H receive/done ACKs.
This commit changes the context, where common MAC C2H receive/done
ACK handlers are executed, to interrupt context. And, code comments
are added to prevent future commits from using it incorrectly.

The H2Cs (host to chip packets) related to packet offload functions
need to wait for FW responses in case FW state machine gets wrong
and makes driver status no longer able to align FW one. In flow,
driver may continuously send multiple H2Cs of packet offload series.
If somehow FW doesn't deal with the former yet but the latter has
gotten in, it might cause the problem mentioned above.
So, we block these H2Cs by rtw89_wait_for_cond(). And then, when
the corresponding C2Hs (chip to host packets) is received, we call
rtw89_complete_cond(). Besides, RTW89_MAC_C2H_FUNC_PKT_OFLD_RSP's
C2H handler should be executed in interrupt context to make our
wait/complete process work as expected.

TX antenna diversity is a mechanism to select a proper antenna from two
antenna for single one hardware PHY chip. It chooses antenna with better
EVM or RSSI, and use GPIO to control SPDT to switch selected antenna.
RFE type from efuse is used to define if a module can support TX antenna
diversity when (type % 3) is 2.

WoWLAN stub, which shows that supported WLAN events include receiving

Add support of remain on channel ops. Since channel context is
required to enable multi-channel concurrent(MCC) and the current
ROC in mac80211 don't support more than 1 channel context, add this
to let P2P and other protocols relying on this work as expected.
The off-channel duration and cancel timing is purely controlled by
upper layers.

Adding this supports beacon filter and connection quality monitor.
To make host CPU wake up less, let firmware perform signal
monitoring and beacon processing, then notify driver upon signal
changes or beacon loss.
This feature needs firmware 0.27.56 or newer to support it.

The register-based H2C/C2H are used to exchange information between driver
and firmware, but only apply to narrow area because its data size is
smaller than regular packet-based H2C/C2H.
This kind of H2C/C2H must be paired. To identify if any H2C/C2H is missing,
update counters to help diagnose this kind of problems.

The newer chips use the newer firmware branches, e.g. v027, v029.
And, those firmware branches are supposed to support packet drop
when they are just branched out.
The initial firmware branch used by each chip is as below.
* 8852A: v009
* 8852C: v027
* 8852B: v027
So, only 8852A may use firmware which doesn't support packet drop at
runtime. To save trivial positive listing in firmware feature table,
we change to reverse judgment.
Besides, rtw89_mac_ptk_drop_by_band_and_wait() missed to check firmware
feature before calling rtw89_fw_h2c_pkt_drop(). We also fix it.

For normal (successful) flow, it must return 0. The original code uses
'return ret', and then we need to backward reference to initial value to
know 'ret = 0'. Changing them to 'return 0', because it will be more
readable and intuitive. This patch doesn't change logic at all.

RXI300 is a HW design to maintain stuffs across BUS, e.g. AXI, AHB, APB.
It will feedback an error when host does an invalid BUS operation.
For example,
* BUS master request without power/clock on.
* host reads/writes/accesses an invalid address.
They might lead to problems such as BUS timeout, platform hang, etc. So,
once if RXI300 feedback an error, it notifies that driver need a L2 SER
(system error recovery) to reset things.
Previously, driver did not parse the error scenario for RXI300. We add
it and assign a corresponding error code which will make SER flow do L2
reset.

Originally, rtw89_mac_port_tsf_sync() contains randomization logic
internally. However, not all situation, we need the randomization.
So, split out the generic part from it. And, make the full logic of
original one contained in rtw89_mac_port_tsf_sync_rand(). It will
still be used by its original caller as before. Then, the generic
one will be used in MCC (multi-channel concurrency) management flow.
MCC will implement its logic to decide the offset for TSF sync.

Strictly speaking, the unit of the offset should be TU instead of ms.
So, correct it and the macro for calculation. Then, to make the macro
generic, the factor n is moved outside.

Because the difference of the hardware design, RTL8852C can not get the
PTA owner by the same method with RTL8852B, RTL8852A. Modify the get owner
API and related logic.

Disable hardware beacon related functions when ap stops. So hardware won't
transmit beacons while interface is already removed.
