d2d7a96b29 mmc: sdhci_am654: Disable HS400 for AM62P SR1.0 and SR1.1
This adds SDHCI_AM654_QUIRK_DISABLE_HS400 quirk which shall be used
to disable HS400 support. AM62P SR1.0 and SR1.1 do not support HS400
due to errata i2458 [0] so disable HS400 for these SoC revisions.

6d0b1c0184 mmc: sdhci_am654: Workaround for Errata i2312
Errata i2312 [0] for K3 silicon mentions the maximum obtainable
timeout through MMC host controller is 700ms. And for commands taking
longer than 700ms, hardware timeout should be disabled and software

The workaround for Errata i2312 can be achieved by adding
SDHCI_QUIRK2_DISABLE_HW_TIMEOUT quirk in sdhci_am654.

71c9475b1e mmc: sdhci_am654: Add SDHCI_QUIRK2_SUPPRESS_V1P8_ENA quirk to am62 compatible
Add a new struct for platform data for the ti,am62-sdhci compatible to
apply additional quirks, namely "SDHCI_QUIRK2_SUPPRESS_V1P8_ENA", to
host controllers with am62 compatible.

Note, the fix was originally introduced by commit 941a7abd46

found to be applied too broadly and had to be reverted.

ac5a41b472 Revert "mmc: sdhci_am654: Add sdhci_am654_start_signal_voltage_switch"
This reverts commit 941a7abd46.

This commit uses presence of device-tree properties vmmc-supply and
vqmmc-supply for deciding whether to enable a quirk affecting timing of
clock and data.
The intention was to address issues observed with eMMC and SD on AM62
platforms.

This new quirk is however also enabled for AM64 breaking microSD access
on the SolidRun HimmingBoard-T which is supported in-tree since v6.11,
causing a regression. During boot microSD initialization now fails with
the error below:

[ 2.008520] mmc1: SDHCI controller on fa00000.mmc [fa00000.mmc] using ADMA 64-bit
[ 2.115348] mmc1: error -110 whilst initialising SD card

The heuristics for enabling the quirk are clearly not correct as they
break at least one but potentially many existing boards.

Revert the change and restore original behaviour until a more
appropriate method of selecting the quirk is derived.

078e548af9 mmc: Switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()
After commit 0edb555a65 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.

Convert all platform drivers below drivers/mmc to use .remove(), with
the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As
.remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done
by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer.

941a7abd46 mmc: sdhci_am654: Add sdhci_am654_start_signal_voltage_switch
The sdhci_start_signal_voltage_switch function sets
V1P8_SIGNAL_ENA by default after switching to 1v8 signaling.
V1P8_SIGNAL_ENA determines whether to launch cmd/data on neg
edge or pos edge of clock.

Due to some eMMC and SD failures seen across am62x platform,
do not set V1P8_SIGNAL_ENA by default, only enable the bit
for devices that require this bit in order to switch to 1v8
voltage for uhs modes.

de29ade4fc mmc: sdhci_am654: Convert to platform remove callback returning void
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored
and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a
quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this
quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns
void.

Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove

tracking that properly in software. When out of sync, we may trigger
various timeouts.

It's not typical to perform resets while CQE is enabled, but this may
occur in some suspend or error recovery scenarios.

Include this fix by way of the new sdhci_and_cqhci_reset() helper.

This patch depends on (and should not compile without) the patch
entitled "mmc: cqhci: Provide helper for resetting both SDHCI and
CQHCI".

c7666240ec drivers: mmc: sdhci_am654: Add the quirk to set TESTCD bit
The ARASAN MMC controller on Keystone 3 class of devices need the SDCD
line to be connected for proper functioning. Similar to the issue pointed
out in sdhci-of-arasan.c driver, commit 3794c54264 ("mmc:

In cases where this can't be connected, add a quirk to force the
controller into test mode and set the TESTCD bit. Use the flag
"ti,fails-without-test-cd", to implement this above quirk when required.

13ebeae68a mmc: sdhci_am654: Add support for software tuning
With the new SW tuning App note[1], a custom tuning algorithm is
required for eMMC HS200, HS400 and SD card UHS modes. The algorithm
involves running through the 32 possible input tap delay values and
sending the appropriate tuning command (CMD19/21) for each of them
to get a fail or pass result for each of the values. Typically, the
range will have a small contiguous failing window. Considering the
tuning range as a circular buffer, the algorithm then sets a final
tuned value directly opposite to the failing window.

a0a62497f6 mmc: sdhci_am654: Add support for input tap delay
DLL need only be enabled for speed modes and clock frequencies at or
above 50 MHz. For speed modes that don't enable the DLL, we need to
configure a static input delay value. This involves reading an optional
itap-del-sel-* value from the device tree and configuring it for the
appropriate speed mode.

With this addition, make sure that DLL is always switched off at the
beginning of the set_clock() call to simplify configuration. This also
removes the need for the dll_on member in struct sdhci_am654_data.

There is a one time delay because of a card detect debounce timer in the
