media: platform: replace of_graph_get_next_endpoint()
From DT point of view, in general, drivers should be asking for a specific port number because their function is fixed in the binding. of_graph_get_next_endpoint() doesn't match to this concept. Simply replace - of_graph_get_next_endpoint(xxx, NULL); + of_graph_get_endpoint_by_regs(xxx, 0, -1); Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20240202174941.GA310089-robh@kernel.org Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Sakari Ailus <sakari.ailus@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil-cisco@xs4all.nl> |

media: v4l: subdev: Switch to stream-aware state functions
Switch all drivers accessing sub-device state to use the stream-aware functions. We will soon remove the old ones. Also Coccinelle introduced indentation by space in files drivers/media/i2c/st-mipid02.c and drivers/media/platform/rockchip/rkisp1/rkisp1-isp.c. This has been also corrected. media: mipi-csis: Convert to platform remove callback returning void
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant.
