60295feef9 iio: bmi160: suspend and resume triggering on relevant pm operations
Prevent triggers from stop working after the device has entered sleep:
use iio_device_suspend_triggering and iio_device_resume_triggering helpers.

70788d26ae iio: normalize array sentinel style
Use `\t(\{ ?\},|\{\}|\{\s*/\*.*\*/\s*\},?)$` regex to find and replace
the array sentinel in all IIO drivers to the same style.

For some time, we've been trying to consistently use `{ }` (no trailing
comma, no comment, one space between braces) for array sentinels in the
IIO subsystem. Still nearly 50% of existing code uses a different style.
To save reviewers from having to request this trivial change as
frequently, let's normalize the style in all existing IIO drivers.
At least when code is copy/pasted to new drivers, the style will be
consistent.

cdd30ebb1b module: Convert symbol namespace to string literal
Clean up the existing export namespace code along the same lines of
commit 33def8498f ("treewide: Convert macro and uses of __section(foo)
to __section("foo")") and for the same reason, it is not desired for the
namespace argument to be a macro expansion itself.

4391affa10 iio: Drop explicit initialization of struct i2c_device_id::driver_data to 0
These drivers don't use the driver_data member of struct i2c_device_id,
so don't explicitly initialize this member.

This prepares putting driver_data in an anonymous union which requires
either no initialization or named designators. But it's also a nice
cleanup on its own.

While add it, also remove commas after the sentinel entries.

cedb9bd816 iio: imu: bmi160: add support for bmi120
Add support for bmi120 low power variant of bmi160.
Relax failure to match ID to a warning rather than probe fail.
This allows for fallback compatibles, whilst retaining a useful
debugging message if they turn out not to be so compatible due to
badly behaved firmware.

ca2f16c315 Add 10EC5280 to bmi160_i2c ACPI IDs to allow binding on some devices
"10EC5280" is used by several manufacturers like Lenovo, GPD, or AYA (and
probably others) in their ACPI table as the ID for the bmi160 IMU. This
means the bmi160_i2c driver won't bind to it, and the IMU is unavailable
to the user. Manufacturers have been approached on several occasions to
try getting a BIOS with a fixed ID, mostly without actual positive
results, and since affected devices are already a few years old, this is
not expected to change. This patch enables using the bmi160_i2c driver for
the bmi160 IMU on these devices.

Here is the relevant extract from the DSDT of a GPD Win Max 2 (AMD 6800U
model) with the latest firmware 1.05 installed. GPD sees this as WONTFIX
with the argument of the device working with the Windows drivers.

7cf15f4275 iio: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()
After commit b8a1a4cd5a ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new()
call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then
03c835f498 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert
back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from
struct i2c_driver.

Utilize %pe format specifier from vsprintf while printing error logs
with dev_err(). Discards the use of unnecessary explicit casting and

6e9982918c iio: bmi160: use all devm functions in probe
Currently, we're using the devm version of some but not all functions.
Switch to the devm version of iio_triggered_buffer_setup and
iio_device_register to simplify the code a bit and decrease the chance of
bugs.

77c4ad2d6a iio: imu: Add initial support for Bosch BMI160
BMI160 is an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) which provides acceleration
and angular rate measurement. It also offers a secondary I2C interface
for connecting a magnetometer sensor (usually BMM160).

Current driver offers support for accelerometer and gyroscope readings
via sysfs or via buffer interface using an external trigger (e.g.
hrtimer). Data is retrieved from IMU via I2C or SPI interface.
