Add BlueField I2C driver to offer master and slave support for
Mellanox BlueField SoCs. The driver implements an SMBus adapter
and interfaces to multiple busses that can be probed using both
ACPI and Device Tree infrastructures.
The driver supports several SMBus operations to transfer data
back and forth from/to various I2C devices. It is mainly intended
to be consumed by userspace tools and utilities, such as i2c-tools
and decode-dimms to collect memory module information.
On the other hand, the driver has a slave function to support,
among others, an IPMB interface that requires both master and
slave functions to handle transfers between the BlueField SoC
and a board management controllers (e.g., BMC).

Baikal-T1 System Controller is equipped with a dedicated I2C Controller
which functionality is based on the DW APB I2C IP-core, the only
difference in a way it' registers are accessed. There are three access
register provided in the System Controller registers map, which indirectly
address the normal DW APB I2C registers space. So in order to have the
Baikal-T1 System I2C Controller supported by the common DW APB I2C driver
we created a dedicated Dw I2C controller model quirk, which retrieves the
syscon regmap from the parental dt node and creates a new regmap based on
it.

Seeing the DW I2C driver is using flags-based accessors with two
conditional clauses it would be better to replace them with the regmap
API IO methods and to initialize the regmap object with read/write
callbacks specific to the controller registers map implementation. This
will be also handy for the drivers with non-standard registers mapping
(like an embedded into the Baikal-T1 System Controller DW I2C block, which
glue-driver is a part of this series).
As before the driver tries to detect the mapping setup at probe stage and
creates a regmap object accordingly, which will be used by the rest of the
code to correctly access the controller registers. In two places it was
appropriate to convert the hand-written read-modify-write and
read-poll-loop design patterns to the corresponding regmap API
ready-to-use methods.
Note the regmap IO methods return value is checked only at the probe
stage. The rest of the code won't do this because basically we have
MMIO-based regmap so non of the read/write methods can fail (this also
won't be needed for the Baikal-T1-specific I2C controller).

This device contains both master and slave controllers which can be
enabled simultaneously. Both controllers share the same SDA/SCL lines
and interrupt source but has separate control and status registers.
Controllers also works in loopback mode - slave device can communicate
with its own master controller internally. The controller can handle up
to two addresses, both of which may be 10 bit. Most of the logic
(sending (N)ACK, handling repeated start or switching between
write/read) is handled automatically which makes working with this
controller quite easy.
For simplicity, this patch adds basic support, limiting to only one
slave address. Support for the 2nd device may be added in the future.
Note that synchronize_irq() is used to ensure any running slave interrupt
is finished to make sure slave i2c_client structure can be safely used
by i2c_slave_event.

All products we support in the kernel are based on the first of these,
iop32x, the other families only ever supported the Intel reference
boards but no actual machine anyone could ever buy.
While one could clearly make them all three work in a single kernel
with some work, this takes the easy way out, removing the later two
platforms entirely, under the assumption that there are no remaining
users.
Earlier versions of OpenWRT and Debian both had support for iop32x
but not the others, and they both dropped iop32x as well in their 2015

MP2 controllers have two separate busses, so may accommodate up to two I2C
adapters. Those adapters are listed in the ACPI namespace with the
"AMDI0011" HID, and probed by a platform driver.
Communication with the MP2 takes place through MMIO registers, or through
DMA for more than 32 bytes transfers.
This is major rework of the patch submitted by Nehal-bakulchandra Shah from
AMD (https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/10597369/).
Most of the event handling of v3 was rewritten to make it work with more
than one bus (e.g on Ryzen-based Lenovo Yoga 530), and this version

Remove dependencies on HAS_DMA where a Kconfig symbol depends on another
symbol that implies HAS_DMA, and, optionally, on "|| COMPILE_TEST".
In most cases this other symbol is an architecture or platform specific
symbol, or PCI.
Generic symbols and drivers without platform dependencies keep their
dependencies on HAS_DMA, to prevent compiling subsystems or drivers that
cannot work anyway.
This simplifies the dependencies, and allows to improve compile-testing.

The ChromeOS EC tunnel I2C bus driver depend on CROS_EC_PROTO but
MFD_CROS_EC select CROS_EC_PROTO instead. Mixing select and depends
on is bad practice as it may lead to circular Kconfig dependencies.
Since the platform device that is matched with the I2C bus driver
is registered by the ChromeOS EC mfd driver, I2C_CROS_EC_TUNNEL
really depends on MFD_CROS_EC. And because this config option
selects CROS_EC_PROTO, that dependency is met as well. So make the
driver to depend on MFD_CROS_EC instead of CROS_EC_PROTO.

The MFD driver should only have the logic to instantiate its child devices
and setup any shared resources that will be used by the subdevices drivers.
The cros_ec MFD is more complex than expected since it also has helpers to
communicate with the EC. So the driver will only get more bigger as other
protocols are supported in the future. So move the communication protocol
helpers to its own driver as drivers/platform/chrome/cros_ec_proto.c.

On these platforms access to the PMIC must be shared with platform hardware. The

Merge tag 'powerpc-3.19-2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/mpe/linux
Pull second batch of powerpc updates from Michael Ellerman:
"The highlight is the series that reworks the idle management on
powernv, which allows us to use deeper idle states on those machines.
There's the fix from Anton for the "BUG at kernel/smpboot.c:134!"
problem.
An i2c driver for powernv. This is acked by Wolfram Sang, and he
asked that we take it through the powerpc tree.
A fix for audit from rgb at Red Hat, acked by Paul Moore who is one of
the audit maintainers.
A patch from Ben to export the symbol map of our OPAL firmware as a
sysfs file, so that tools can use it.
Also some CXL fixes, a couple of powerpc perf fixes, a fix for
smt-enabled, and the patch to add __force to get_user() so we can use
bitwise types"

Pull i2c updates from Wolfram Sang:
"For 3.19, the I2C subsystem has to offer special candy this time.
Right in time for Christmas :)
- I2C slave framework: finally, a generic mechanism for Linux being
an I2C slave (if the bus driver supports that). Docs are still
missing but will come later this cycle, the code is good enough to
go.
- I2C muxes represent their topology in sysfs much more detailed.
This will help users to navigate around much easier.
- irq population of i2c clients is now done at probe time, not device
creation time, to have better support for deferred probing.
- new drivers for Imagination SCB, Amlogic Meson
- DMA support added for Freescale IMX, Renesas SHMobile
- slightly bigger driver updates to OMAP, i801, AT91, and rk3x
(mostly quirk handling, timing updates, and using better kernel
interfaces)
- eeprom driver can now write with byte-access (very slow, but OK to
have)
- and the bunch of smaller fixes, cleanups, ID updates..."

The patch exposes the available i2c busses on the PowerNV platform
to the kernel and implements the bus driver to support i2c and
smbus commands.
The driver uses the platform device infrastructure to probe the busses
on the platform and registers them with the i2c driver framework.

Now that we are using the clk notifier framework we get compile errors
without COMMON_CLK. But the driver fails to probe without COMMON_CLK
anyways, so just add that as a Kconfig dependency.

The SCB is present on IMG SoCs other than the META-based TZ1090,
such as the MIPS-based Pistachio SoC. Relax the Kconfig dependency
so that it can be built on any MIPS or META machine.
