6cc6e08d45 drm/nouveau/kms: add support for GB20x
Adds basic support for the new display classes available on GB20x GPUs.

Most of the changes here deal with HW method moves, with the only other
change of note being tweaks to skip allocation of CTXDMA objects, which
aren't required on Blackwell display.

1d26c846f3 drm/nouveau: Add drm_panic support for nv50+
Add drm_panic support for nv50+ cards.
It's enough to get the panic screen while running Gnome/Wayland with
an nv50+ nvidia GPU.
It doesn't support multi-plane or compressed format yet.
Tiling is tested on GTX1650 (Turing), GeForce GT 1030 (Pascal) and
Geforce 8800 GTS (Tesla).

889fcbe949 drm/nouveau/disp: add common channel class handling
Replaces a bunch of unnecessarily duplicated boilerplate in per-chipset
code with a simpler, common, implementation.

Channel "awaken" notify code is completely gone for now.  KMS has never
made use of it so far, and event notify handling is about to be changed
in general anyway.

90bb087f66 drm: Drop drm_blend.h from drm_crtc.h
drm_crtc.h has no need for drm_blend.h, so don't include it.
Avoids useless rebuilds of the entire universe when
touching drm_blend.h.

Quite a few placs do currently depend on drm_blend.h without
actually including it directly. All of those need to be fixed
up.

7bc80a5462 dma-buf: add enum dma_resv_usage v4
This change adds the dma_resv_usage enum and allows us to specify why a
dma_resv object is queried for its containing fences.

Additional to that a dma_resv_usage_rw() helper function is added to aid
retrieving the fences for a read or write userspace submission.

This is then deployed to the different query functions of the dma_resv
object and all of their users. When the write paratermer was previously
true we now use DMA_RESV_USAGE_WRITE and DMA_RESV_USAGE_READ otherwise.

drm/nouveau/kms: Remove redundant zpos initialisation
The nouveau KMS driver will call drm_plane_create_zpos_property() with
an init value depending on the plane purpose.

Since the initial value wasn't carried over in the state, the driver had
to set it again in nv50_wndw_reset(). However, the helpers have been
adjusted to set it properly at reset, so this is not needed anymore.

79af598a5b drm/nouveau/kms/nv50-: Always validate LUTs in nv50_head_atomic_check_lut()
When it comes to gamma or degamma luts, nouveau will actually skip the
calculation of certain LUTs depending on the head and plane states. For
instance, when the head is disabled we don't perform any error checking on
the gamma LUT, and likewise if no planes are present and enabled in our
atomic state we will skip error checking the degamma LUT. This is a bit of
a problem though, since the per-head gamma and degamma props in DRM can be
changed even while a head is disabled - a situation which can be triggered
by the igt testcase mentioned down below.

Originally I thought this was a bit silly and was tempted to just fix the
igt test to only set gamma/degamma with the head enabled. After a bit of
thinking though I realized we should fix this in nouveau. This is because
if a program decides to set an invalid LUT for a head before enabling the
head, such a property change would succeed while also making it impossible
to turn the head back on until the LUT is removed or corrected - something
that could be painful for a user to figure out.

So, fix this checking both degamma and gamma LUTs unconditionally during
atomic checks. We start by calling nv50_head_atomic_check_lut() regardless
of whether the head is active or not in nv50_head_atomic_check(). Then we
move the ilut error checking into nv50_head_atomic_check_lut() and add a
per-head hook for it, primarily because as a per-CRTC property DRM we want
the LUT to be error checked by the head any time it's included in an atomic
state. Of course though, actual programming of the degamma lut to hardware
is still handled in each plane's atomic check and commit.

drm/atomic: Pass the full state to planes atomic_check
The current atomic helpers have either their object state being passed as
an argument or the full atomic state.

The former is the pattern that was done at first, before switching to the
latter for new hooks or when it was needed.

Let's convert all the remaining helpers to provide a consistent
interface, starting with the planes atomic_check.

The conversion was done using the coccinelle script below plus some
manual changes for vmwgfx, built tested on all the drivers.

drm: Rename plane atomic_check state names
Most drivers call the argument to the plane atomic_check hook simply
state, which is going to conflict with the global atomic state in a
later rework. Let's rename it to new_plane_state (or new_state depending
on the convention used in the driver).

This was done using the coccinelle script below, and built tested:

7c6d659868 drivers/nouveau/kms/nv50-: Reject format modifiers for cursor planes
Nvidia hardware doesn't actually support using tiling formats with the
cursor plane, only linear is allowed. In the future, we should write a
testcase for this.

8ef23b6f6a drm/nouveau/disp/ga10[24]: initial support
UEFI/RM no longer use IED scripts from the VBIOS, though they appear to
have been updated for use by the x86 VBIOS code, so we should be able to
continue using them for the moment.

Unfortunately, we require some hacks to do so, as the BeforeLinkTraining
IED script became a pointer to an array of scripts instead, without a
revbump of the relevant tables.

There's also some changes to SOR clock divider fiddling, which are
hopefully correct enough that things work as they should.

AFAIK, GA100 shouldn't have display, so it hasn't been added.

0bc8ffe097 drm/nouveau/kms/nv50-: Move hard-coded object handles into header
While most of the functionality on Nvidia GPUs doesn't require using an
explicit handle instead of the main VRAM handle + offset, there are a
couple of places that do require explicit handles, such as CRC
functionality. Since this means we're about to add another
nouveau-chosen handle, let's just go ahead and move any hard-coded
handles into a single header. This is just to keep things slightly
organized, and to make it a little bit easier if we need to add more
handles in the future.

This patch should contain no functional changes.

dd67cab5db drm/nouveau/kms/nv50-: clear SW state of disabled windows harder
The most innocuous result of not having done this is that we end up
sending unnecessary methods when we next enable the window.

However, interactions with the code handling skipping disables when
an update immediately follows, and window ownership assignment, can
lead to upsetting the display hardware on Volta and newer.

object using DRM format modifiers.  When
specified, the format modifier block layout and
kind overrides the GEM buffer's implicit layout
and kind.  The specified format modifier is

by the target display hardware.

Advertise support for the full list of format

desktop GPU display hardware.  Stash the array
of modifiers in the nouveau_display struct for

a subsequent change.

1834058792 drm/nouveau/kms: Remove field nvbo from struct nouveau_framebuffer
The buffer object stored in nvbo is also available GEM object in obj[0]
of struct drm_framebuffer. Therefore remove nvbo in favor obj[0] and
replace all references accordingly. This may require an additional cast.

With this change we can already replace nouveau_user_framebuffer_destroy()
and nouveau_user_framebuffer_create_handle() with generic GEM helpers.
Calls to nouveau_framebuffer_new() receive a GEM object.

f287d3d197 drm/nouveau/kms/gv100-: Re-set LUT after clearing for modesets
While certain modeset operations on gv100+ need us to temporarily
disable the LUT, we make the mistake of sometimes neglecting to
reprogram the LUT after such modesets. In particular, moving a head from
one encoder to another seems to trigger this quite often. GV100+ is very
picky about having a LUT in most scenarios, so this causes the display
engine to hang with the following error code:

So, fix this by always re-programming the LUT if we're clearing it in a
state where the wndw is still visible, and has a XLUT handle programmed.

4d85f45c73 drm/atomic: Rename crtc_state->pageflip_flags to async_flip
It's the only flag anyone actually cares about. Plus if we're unlucky,
the atomic ioctl might need a different flag for async flips. So
better to abstract this away from the uapi a bit.

1e339ab2ac drm/nouveau/kms/tu102-: disable input lut when input is already FP16
On Turing, an input LUT is required to transform inputs in fixed-point
formats to FP16 for the internal display pipe.  We provide an identity
mapping whenever a window is enabled for this reason.

HW has error checks to ensure when the input is already FP16, that the
input LUT is also disabled.

d2434e4d94 drm/nouveau/kms/gv100-: fix spurious window immediate interlocks
Cursor position updates were accidentally causing us to attempt to interlock
window with window immediate, and without a matching window immediate update,
NVDisplay could hang forever in some circumstances.

Fixes suspend/resume on (at least) Quadro RTX4000 (TU104).
