With clang's kernel control flow integrity (kCFI, CONFIG_CFI_CLANG),
indirect call targets are validated against the expected function
pointer prototype to make sure the call target is valid to help mitigate
ROP attacks. If they are not identical, there is a failure at run time,
which manifests as either a kernel panic or thread getting killed. A
proposed warning in clang aims to catch these at compile time, which
reveals:
drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../pm/swsmu/amdgpu_smu.c:3008:29: error: incompatible function pointer types initializing 'int (*)(void *, uint32_t, long *, uint32_t)' (aka 'int (*)(void *, unsigned int, long *, unsigned int)') with an expression of type 'int (void *, enum PP_OD_DPM_TABLE_COMMAND, long *, uint32_t)' (aka 'int (void *, enum PP_OD_DPM_TABLE_COMMAND, long *, unsigned int)') [-Werror,-Wincompatible-function-pointer-types-strict]

^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1 error generated.
There are only two implementations of ->odn_edit_dpm_table() in 'struct
amd_pm_funcs': smu_od_edit_dpm_table() and pp_odn_edit_dpm_table(). One
has a second parameter type of 'enum PP_OD_DPM_TABLE_COMMAND' and the
other uses 'u32'. Ultimately, smu_od_edit_dpm_table() calls
->od_edit_dpm_table() from 'struct pptable_funcs' and
pp_odn_edit_dpm_table() calls ->odn_edit_dpm_table() from 'struct
pp_hwmgr_func', which both have a second parameter type of 'enum
PP_OD_DPM_TABLE_COMMAND'.
Update the type parameter in both the prototype in 'struct amd_pm_funcs'
and pp_odn_edit_dpm_table() to 'enum PP_OD_DPM_TABLE_COMMAND', which
cleans up the warning.

The adev->pm.mutx is already held at the beginning of
amdgpu_dpm_compute_clocks/amdgpu_dpm_enable_uvd/amdgpu_dpm_enable_vce.
But on their calling path, amdgpu_display_bandwidth_update will be
called and thus its sub functions amdgpu_dpm_get_sclk/mclk. They
will then try to acquire the same adev->pm.mutex and deadlock will
occur.
By placing amdgpu_display_bandwidth_update outside of adev->pm.mutex
protection(considering logically they do not need such protection) and
restructuring the call flow accordingly, we can eliminate the deadlock
issue. This comes with no real logics change.

Update the current state as boot state during dpm initialization.
During the subsequent initialization, set_power_state gets called to
transition to the final power state. set_power_state refers to values
from the current state and without current state populated, it could
result in NULL pointer dereference.
For ex: on platforms where PCI speed change is supported through ACPI
ATCS method, the link speed of current state needs to be queried before
deciding on changing to final power state's link speed. The logic to query
ATCS-support was broken on certain platforms. The issue became visible
when broken ATCS-support logic got fixed with commit
f9b7f3703f ("drm/amdgpu/acpi: make ATPX/ATCS structures global (v2)").

Create new structure SISLANDS_SMC_SWSTATE_SINGLE, as initialState.levels
and ACPIState.levels are never actually used as flexible arrays. Those
arrays can be used as simple objects of type
SISLANDS_SMC_HW_PERFORMANCE_LEVEL, instead.
Currently, the code fails because flexible array _levels_ in
struct SISLANDS_SMC_SWSTATE doesn't allow for code that accesses
the first element of initialState.levels and ACPIState.levels
arrays:
drivers/gpu/drm/amd/pm/powerplay/si_dpm.c:
4820: table->initialState.levels[0].mclk.vDLL_CNTL =
4821: cpu_to_be32(si_pi->clock_registers.dll_cntl);
...
5021: table->ACPIState.levels[0].mclk.vDLL_CNTL =
5022: cpu_to_be32(dll_cntl);
because such element cannot be accessed without previously allocating
enough dynamic memory for it to exist (which never actually happens).
So, there is an out-of-bounds bug in this case.
That's why struct SISLANDS_SMC_SWSTATE should only be used as type
for object driverState and new struct SISLANDS_SMC_SWSTATE_SINGLE is
created as type for objects initialState, ACPIState and ULVState.
Also, with the change from one-element array to flexible-array member
in commit 0e1aa13ca3 ("drm/amd/pm: Replace one-element array with
flexible-array in struct SISLANDS_SMC_SWSTATE"), the size of
dpmLevels in struct SISLANDS_SMC_STATETABLE should be fixed to be
SISLANDS_MAX_SMC_PERFORMANCE_LEVELS_PER_SWSTATE instead of
SISLANDS_MAX_SMC_PERFORMANCE_LEVELS_PER_SWSTATE - 1.

This patch is to make the error log more clear for fine grain tuning
function, it covers Raven/Raven2/Picasso/Renoir/Vangogh.
The fine grain tuning function uses the sysfs file -- pp_od_clk_voltage,
but only when another sysfs file -- power_dpm_force_performance_level is
switched to "manual" mode, it is allowed to access "pp_od_clk_voltage".

This patch is to improve the fine grain tuning function for RV/RV2/PCO.
The fine grain tuning function uses the sysfs node -- pp_od_clk_voltage
to config gfxclk. Meanwhile, another sysfs
node -- power_dpm_force_perfomance_level also affects the gfx clk.
It will cause confusion when these two sysfs nodes works
together. So this patch adds one flag to avoid this confusion, the flag
will make these two sysfs nodes work separately.
The flag is set as "disabled" by default, so the fine grain tuning function
will be disabled by default.
Only when power_dpm_force_perfomance_level is changed to
"manual" mode, the flag will be set as "enabled",
and the fine grain tuning function will be enabled.
In other profile modes, including "auto", "high", "low",
"profile_peak", "profile_standard", "profile_min_sclk",
"profile_min_mclk", the flag will be set as "disabled",
and the od range of fine grain tuning function will
be restored default value.

This patch is to improve the fine grain tuning function for RV/RV2/PCO.
This patch adds two new commands: "restore" and "commit".
This function uses the pp_od_clk_voltage sysfs file to configure the min
and max value of gfx clock frequency manually or restore the default value.
Command guide:
echo "s level value" > pp_od_clk_voltage
"s" - set the sclk frequency
"level" - 0 or 1, "0" represents the min value, "1" represents
the max value
"value" - the target value of sclk frequency, it should be limited in the
safe range
echo "r" > pp_od_clk_voltage
"r" - reset the sclk frequency, restore the default value instantly
echo "c" > pp_od_clk_voltage
"c" - commit the min and max value of sclk frequency to the system
only after the commit command, the target values set by "s" command
will take effect.
Example:
1)change power profile from "auto" to "manual"
$ cat power_dpm_force_performance_level
auto
$ echo "manual" > power_dpm_force_performance_level
$ cat power_dpm_force_performance_level
manual
2)check the default sclk frequency
$ cat pp_od_clk_voltage
OD_SCLK:
0: 200Mhz
1: 1400Mhz
OD_RANGE:
SCLK: 200MHz 1400MHz
3)use "s" -- set command to configure the min and max sclk frequency
$ echo "s 0 600" > pp_od_clk_voltage
$ echo "s 1 1000" > pp_od_clk_voltage
$ echo "c" > pp_od_clk_voltage
$ cat pp_od_clk_voltage
OD_SCLK:
0: 600Mhz
1: 1000Mhz
OD_RANGE:
SCLK: 200MHz 1400MHz
4)use "r" -- reset command to restore the min or max sclk frequency
$ echo "r" > pp_od_clk_voltage
$ cat pp_od_clk_voltage
OD_SCLK:
0: 200Mhz
1: 1400Mhz
OD_RANGE:
SCLK: 200MHz 1400MHz
