The conversion of all GPIO drivers to using the .set_rv() and
.set_multiple_rv() callbacks from struct gpio_chip (which - unlike their
predecessors - return an integer and allow the controller drivers to
indicate failures to users) is now complete and the legacy ones have
been removed. Rename the new callbacks back to their original names in
one sweeping change.

Convert the Renesas R-Car GPIO driver from SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS() to
DEFINE_SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS() and pm_sleep_ptr(). This lets us drop the
check for CONFIG_PM_SLEEP, and reduces kernel size in case CONFIG_PM or
CONFIG_PM_SLEEP is disabled, while increasing build coverage.

The valid_mask member of the struct gpio_chip is unconditionally written
by the GPIO core at driver registration. It should not be directly
populated by the drivers. Hiding the valid_mask in struct gpio_device
makes it clear it is not meant to be directly populated by drivers. This
means drivers should not access it directly from the struct gpio_chip.
The gpio-rcar checks the valid mask in set/get_multiple() operations.
This is no longer needed [1]. Drop these checks.
Additionally, the valid_mask is needed for enabling the GPIO inputs at
probe time. Use the new valid_mask -getter function instead of accessing
it directly from the struct gpio_chip.

After commit 0edb555a65 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.
Convert all platform drivers below drivers/gpio/ to use .remove(), with
the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As
.remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done
by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer.

The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.
To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new(), which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove().
Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.

Commit 6c846d026d ("gpio: Don't fiddle with irqchips marked as
immutable") added a warning to indicate if the gpiolib is altering the
internals of irqchips. Following this change the following warning is
now observed for the gpio-rcar driver:
gpio gpiochip0: (e6050000.gpio): not an immutable chip, please consider fixing it!
Fix this by making the irqchip in the gpio-rcar driver immutable.

platform_get_resource(pdev, IORESOURCE_IRQ, ..) relies on static
allocation of IRQ resources in DT core code, this causes an issue
when using hierarchical interrupt domains using "interrupts" property
in the node as this bypassed the hierarchical setup and messed up the
irq chaining.
In preparation for removal of static setup of IRQ resource from DT core
code use platform_get_irq().

Add support for the GPIO controller block in the R-Car V3U (R8A779A0)
SoC, which is very similar to the block found on other R-Car Gen3 SoCs.
However, this block has a new General Input Enable Register (INEN),
whose reset state is to have all inputs disabled.
Enable input for all available pins in probe and resume, to support the
use of the General Input Register (INDT) for reading pin state at all
times. This preserves backwards compatibility with other R-Car Gen3
SoCs, as recommended by the Hardware Manual.

Currently, the R-Car GPIO driver treats R-Car Gen2 and R-Car Gen3 GPIO
controllers the same. However, there exist small differences, like the
behavior of the General Input Register (INDT):
- On R-Car Gen1, R-Car Gen2, and RZ/G1, INDT only reflects the state
of an input pin if the GPIO is configured for input,
- On R-Car Gen3 and RZ/G2, INDT always reflects the state of the input
pins.
Hence to accommodate all variants, the driver does not use the INDT
register to read the status of a GPIO line when configured for output,
at the expense of doing 2 or 3 register reads instead of 1.
Given register accesses are slow, change the .get() and .get_multiple()
callbacks to always use INDT to read pin state on SoCs where this is
supported.

It's hard for occasional GPIO code reader/writer to know if values 0/1
equal to IN or OUT. Use defined GPIO_LINE_DIRECTION_IN and
GPIO_LINE_DIRECTION_OUT to help them out.
NOTE - for gpio-amd-fch and gpio-bd9571mwv:
This commit also changes the return value for direction get to equal 1
for direction INPUT. Prior this commit these drivers might have
returned some other positive value but 1 for INPUT.

R-Car GPIO controller provides two interfaces to set GPIO line output
signal state, and for a particular GPIO line the selected interface is
determined by OUTDTSEL bit value.
At the moment the driver supports only one of two interfaces, namely
OUTDT General Output Register is used to control the output signal.
While this selection is the default one on reset, it is not explicitly
configured on probe, thus it might be possible that kernel and userspace
consumers of a GPIO won't be able to set the wanted GPIO output signal.
Below is a simple test case to reproduce the described problem and
verify this fix in the kernel on H3 ULCB by setting non-default OUTDTSEL
configuration from a bootloader:

GPIO hole is present in RZ/G1C SoC. Valid GPIO pins on bank3 are in the
range GP3_0 to GP3_16 and GP3_27 to GP3_29. The GPIO pins between GP3_17
to GP3_26 are unused. Add support for handling unused GPIO's.

Since commit ab82fa7da4 ("gpio: rcar: Prevent module clock disable
when wake-up is enabled"), when a GPIO is used for wakeup, the GPIO
block's module clock (if exists) is manually kept running during system
suspend, to make sure the device stays active.
However, this explicit clock handling is merely a workaround for a
failure to properly communicate wakeup information to the device core.
Instead, set the device's power.wakeup_path field, to indicate this
device is part of the wakeup path. Depending on the PM Domain's
active_wakeup configuration, the genpd core code will keep the device
enabled (and the clock running) during system suspend when needed.
This allows for the removal of all explicit clock handling code from the
driver.

Using devm_ioremap_resource() has several advantages over devm_ioremap():
- it checks the passed resource's validity;
- it calls devm_request_mem_region() to check for the resource overlap;
- it prints an error message in case of error.
We can call devm_ioremap_resource() instead of devm_ioremap_nocache()
as ioremap() and ioremap_nocache() are implemented identically on ARM.
Doing this saves 2 LoCs and 80 bytes (AArch64 gcc 4.8.5).
