9ad08c1115 EDAC/i10nm: Add Intel Granite Rapids-D support
The Granite Rapids-D CPU model uses memory controller registers similar
to those of the Granite Rapids server CPU but with a different memory
controller MMIO base.

Add the Granite Rapids-D CPU model ID and use the new memory controller
MMIO base for EDAC support.

2b2408aca9 EDAC/i10nm: Fix the bitwise operation between variables of different sizes
The tool of Smatch static checker reported the following warning:

  drivers/edac/i10nm_base.c:364 show_retry_rd_err_log()
  warn: should bitwise negate be 'ullong'?

This warning was due to the bitwise NOT/AND operations between
'status_mask' (a u32 type) and 'log' (a u64 type), which resulted in
the high 32 bits of 'log' were cleared.

This was a false positive warning, as only the low 32 bits of 'log' was
written to the first RRL memory controller register (a u32 type).

To improve code sanity, fix this warning by changing 'status_mask' to
a u64 type, ensuring it matches the size of 'log' for bitwise operations.

5904dc561e EDAC/{skx_common,i10nm}: Add RRL support for Intel Granite Rapids server
Compared to previous generations, Granite Rapids defines the RRL control
bits {en_patspr, noover, en} in different positions, adds an extra RRL set
for the new mode of the first patrol-scrub read error, and extends the
number of CORRERRCNT registers from 4 to 8, encoding one counter per
CORRERRCNT register.

Add a Granite Rapids reg_rrl configuration table and adjust the code to
accommodate the differences mentioned above for RRL support.

126168fa2c EDAC/{skx_common,i10nm}: Refactor show_retry_rd_err_log()
Make the {valid bit, overwritten status, number} of RRL registers and the
{number, offsets, widths} of per-channel CORRERRCNT registers configurable.
Refactor show_retry_rd_err_log() to use the configurable fields of struct
reg_rrl, making the code more scalable and simpler.

1a8a6af663 EDAC/{skx_common,i10nm}: Structure the per-channel RRL registers
As the number of RRL (retry_rd_err_log) registers per memory channel
increases, the positions of the RRL control bits and the widths of the
RRL registers vary across different CPU generations. Adding RRL support
for a new CPU requires handling these differences throughout the
RRL-related code.

Structure the offsets, widths, control bit positions, set numbers, modes,
etc., of the per-channel RRL registers and make them configurable to
facilitate easier RRL support for new CPUs.

No functional changes are intended.

The i10nm_edac driver uses the default modes (either patrol scrub read
or on-demand read) of the RRL register sets configured by the BIOS.

eeed3e03f4 EDAC/{skx_common,i10nm}: Fix the loss of saved RRL for HBM pseudo channel 0
When enabling the retry_rd_err_log (RRL) feature during the loading of the
i10nm_edac driver with the module parameter retry_rd_err_log=2 (Linux RRL
control mode), the default values of the control bits of RRL are saved so
that they can be restored during the unloading of the driver.

In the current code, the RRL of pseudo channel 1 of HBM overwrites pseudo
channel 0 during the loading of the driver, resulting in the loss of saved
RRL for pseudo channel 0. This causes the RRL of pseudo channel 0 of HBM to
be wrongly restored with the values from pseudo channel 1 when unloading
the driver.

Fix this issue by creating two separate groups of RRL control registers
per channel to save default RRL settings of two {sub-,pseudo-}channels.

d9207cf776 EDAC/{skx_common,i10nm}: Fix some missing error reports on Emerald Rapids
When doing error injection to some memory DIMMs on certain Intel Emerald
Rapids servers, the i10nm_edac missed error reports for some memory DIMMs.

Certain BIOS configurations may hide some memory controllers, and the
i10nm_edac doesn't enumerate these hidden memory controllers. However, the
ADXL decodes memory errors using memory controller physical indices even
if there are hidden memory controllers. Therefore, the memory controller
physical indices reported by the ADXL may mismatch the logical indices
enumerated by the i10nm_edac, resulting in missed error reports for some
memory DIMMs.

Fix this issue by creating a mapping table from memory controller physical
indices (used by the ADXL) to logical indices (used by the i10nm_edac) and
using it to convert the physical indices to the logical indices during the
error handling process.

85b08180df x86/cpu: Expose only stepping min/max interface
The x86_match_cpu() infrastructure can match CPU steppings. Since
there are only 16 possible steppings, the matching infrastructure goes
all out and stores the stepping match as a bitmap. That means it can
match any possible steppings in a single list entry. Fun.

But it exposes this bitmap to each of the X86_MATCH_*() helpers when
none of them really need a bitmap. It makes up for this by exporting a
helper (X86_STEPPINGS()) which converts a contiguous stepping range
into the bitmap which every single user leverages.

Instead of a bitmap, have the main helper for this sort of thing
(X86_MATCH_VFM_STEPS()) just take a stepping range. This ends up
actually being even more compact than before.

Leave the helper in place (renamed to __X86_STEPPINGS()) to make it
more clear what is going on instead of just having a random GENMASK()
in the middle of an already complicated macro.

One oddity that I hit was this macro:

       X86_MATCH_VFM_STEPS(vfm, X86_STEPPING_MIN, max_stepping, issues)

It *could* have been converted over to take a min/max stepping value
for each entry. But that would have been a bit too verbose and would
prevent the one oddball in the list (INTEL_COMETLAKE_L stepping 0)
from sticking out.

Instead, just have it take a *maximum* stepping and imply that the match
is from 0=>max_stepping. This is functional for all the cases now and
also retains the nice property of having INTEL_COMETLAKE_L stepping 0
stick out like a sore thumb.

skx_cpuids[] is goofy. It uses the stepping match but encodes all
possible steppings. Just use a normal, non-stepping match helper.

584e09743d EDAC/{i10nm,skx,skx_common}: Support UV systems
The 3-bit source IDs in PCI configuration space registers, used to map
devices to sockets, are limited to 8 unique IDs, and each ID is local to
a UPI/QPI domain.

Source IDs cannot be used to map devices to sockets on UV systems
because they can exceed 8 sockets and have multiple UPI/QPI domains with
identical, repeating source IDs.

Use NUMA information to get package IDs instead of source IDs on UV
systems, and use package/source IDs to name IMC information structures.

The Granite Rapids CPUs with Flat2LM memory configurations may
mistakenly report near-memory errors as far-memory errors, resulting
in the invalid decoded ADXL results:

Fix this incorrect far-memory error source indicator by prefetching the
decoded far-memory controller ID, and adjust the error source indicator
to near-memory if the far-memory controller ID is invalid.

7a33c144c2 EDAC/{skx_common,i10nm}: Remove the AMAP register for determing DDR5
The configuration flag 'res_config->support_ddr5 = true' sufficiently
indicates DDR5 memory support for Sapphire Rapids and Granite Rapids.
Additionally, the i10nm_edac driver doesn't need to use the AMAP
register for setting the 'fine_grain_bank' of each DIMM. Therefore,
remove the AMAP register for determining DDR5.

Commit

  afdb82fd763c ("EDAC, i10nm: make skx_common.o a separate module")

made skx_common.o a separate module. With skx_common.o now a separate
module, move the common debug code setup_{skx,i10nm}_debug() and
teardown_{skx,i10nm}_debug() in {skx,i10nm}_base.c to skx_common.c to
reduce code duplication. Additionally, prefix these function names with
'skx' to maintain consistency with other names in the file.

still appear as PCIe devices that fool the i10nm_edac driver
and result in "shift exponent -66 is negative" call traces
from skx_get_dimm_info().

221aa03fb4 EDAC/i10nm: Add driver decoder for Sapphire Rapids server
Intel SDM (December 2022) vol3B 17.13.2 contains IMC MC error codes
for Sapphire Rapids. Current i10nm_edac only supports firmware decoder
(ACPI DSM methods) for Sapphire Rapids. So add the driver decoder
(decoding DDR memory errors via extracting error information from the
IMC MC error codes) for Sapphire Rapids for better decoding performance.

The Granite Rapids CPU model uses similar memory controller registers
as Sapphire Rapids server but with some different configurations:

- Various memory controller numbers for different Granite Rapids CPUs.
  So detect the number of present memory controllers at run time.

- Different MMIO offsets of memory controllers.

- Different triples of bus/dev/fun of some PCI devices used in i10nm_edac.

Add above configurations and Granite Rapids CPU model ID for EDAC support.

9c89215559 EDAC/i10nm: fix refcount leak in pci_get_dev_wrapper()
As the comment of pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot() says, it returns
a PCI device with refcount incremented, so it doesn't need to
call an extra pci_dev_get() in pci_get_dev_wrapper(), and the PCI
device needs to be put in the error path.

Call ghes_get_devices() to check whether ghes_edac should be used on the
platform where it is preferred over the corresponding chipset-specific
EDAC driver.

2738c69a88 EDAC/i10nm: Add driver decoder for Ice Lake and Tremont CPUs
Current i10nm_edac only supports firmware decoder (ACPI DSM methods).
MCA bank registers of Ice Lake or Tremont CPUs contain the information
to decode DDR memory errors. To get better decoding performance, add
the driver decoder (decoding DDR memory errors via extracting error
information from MCA bank registers) for Ice Lake and Tremont CPUs.

cf4e6d52f5 EDAC/i10nm: Retrieve and print retry_rd_err_log registers
Retrieve and print retry_rd_err_log registers like the earlier change:
commit e80634a75a ("EDAC, skx: Retrieve and print retry_rd_err_log registers")

This is a little trickier than on Skylake because of potential
interference with BIOS use of the same registers. The default
behavior is to ignore these registers.

A module parameter retry_rd_err_log(default=0) controls the mode of operation:
- 0=off  : Default.
- 1=bios : Linux doesn't reset any control bits, but just reports values.
           This is "no harm" mode, but it may miss reporting some data.
- 2=linux: Linux tries to take control and resets mode bits,
           clears valid/UC bits after reading. This should be
           more reliable (especially if BIOS interference is reduced
           by disabling eMCA reporting mode in BIOS setup).

2294a7299f EDAC/i10nm: Fix NVDIMM detection
MCDDRCFG is a per-channel register and uses bit{0,1} to indicate
the NVDIMM presence on DIMM slot{0,1}. Current i10nm_edac driver
wrongly uses MCDDRCFG as per-DIMM register and fails to detect
the NVDIMM.

Fix it by reading MCDDRCFG as per-channel register and using its
bit{0,1} to check whether the NVDIMM is populated on DIMM slot{0,1}.

f0a029fff4 EDAC/Intel: Do not load EDAC driver when running as a guest
There's little to no point in loading an EDAC driver running in a guest:
1) The CPU model reported by CPUID may not represent actual h/w
2) The hypervisor likely does not pass in access to memory controller devices
3) Hypervisors generally do not pass corrected error details to guests

Add a check in each of the Intel EDAC drivers for X86_FEATURE_HYPERVISOR
and simply return -ENODEV in the init routine.

4bd4d32e9a EDAC/i10nm: Add detection of memory levels for ICX/SPR servers
Current i10nm_edac driver is only for system configured in 1-level
memory. If the system is configured in 2-level memory, the driver
doesn't report the 1st level memory DIMM for the error address, even
if the error occurs in the 1st level memory.

Both Ice Lake servers and Sapphire Rapids servers can be configured
in 2-level memory. Add detection of memory levels to i10nm_edac for
the two kinds of servers so that the driver can report the 2nd level
memory DIMM or the 1st level memory DIMM according to error source.

ce20670828 EDAC/i10nm: Update driver to support different bus number config register offsets
The i10nm_edac driver failed to load on Ice Lake and Tremont/Jacobsville
servers if their CPU stepping >= 4 and failed on Ice Lake-D servers from
stepping 0. The root cause was that for Ice Lake and Tremont/Jacobsville
servers with CPU stepping >=4, the offset for bus number configuration
register was updated from 0xcc to 0xd0. For Ice Lake-D servers, all the
steppings use the updated 0xd0 offset.

Fix the issue by using the appropriate offset for bus number
configuration register according to the CPU model number and stepping.

bc9ad9e40d EDAC: Replace EDAC_DIMM_PTR() macro with edac_get_dimm() function
The EDAC_DIMM_PTR() macro takes 3 arguments from struct mem_ctl_info.
Clean up this interface to only pass the mci struct and replace this
macro with a new function edac_get_dimm().

Also introduce an edac_get_dimm_by_index() function for later use.
This allows it to get a DIMM pointer only by a given index. This can
be useful if the DIMM's position within the layers of the memory
controller or the exact size of the layers are unknown.

Small style changes made for some hunks after applying the semantic
patch.
