d24b85df79 accel/ivpu: Move recovery work to system_unbound_wq
Recovery work doesn't need to be bound to any specific CPU, so move it

3477696345 accel/ivpu: Add support for hardware fault injection
Introduces the capability to simulate hardware faults for testing
purposes. The new `fail_hw` fault can be injected in
`ivpu_hw_reg_poll_fld()`, which is used in various parts of the driver
to wait for the hardware to reach a specific state. This allows to test
failures during NPU boot and shutdown, IPC message handling and more.

Fault injection can be enabled using debugfs or a module parameter.

5bbe412bc7 accel/qaic: Add config structs for supported cards
As the number of cards supported by the driver grows, their
configurations will differ. The driver needs to become more dynamic
to support these configurations. Currently, each card may differ in
the exposed BARs, the regions they map to, and the family.

Create config structs for each card, and let the driver configure the
qaic_device struct based on the configurations passed to the driver.

aic100_image_table is currently defined as a "const char *" array,

Change the type to a "const char * const" array to make the pointers

ab680dc6c7 accel/ivpu: Fix locking order in ivpu_job_submit
Fix deadlock in job submission and abort handling.
When a thread aborts currently executing jobs due to a fault,
it first locks the global lock protecting submitted_jobs (#1).

After the last job is destroyed, it proceeds to release the related context
and locks file_priv (#2). Meanwhile, in the job submission thread,
the file_priv lock (#2) is taken first, and then the submitted_jobs
lock (#1) is obtained when a job is added to the submitted jobs list.

Unlock file_priv->lock in ivpu_cmdq_destroy_ioctl() before calling

a74f4d9913 accel/ivpu: Defer MMU root page table allocation
Defer root page table allocation and unify context init/fini functions.
Move allocation of the root page table from the file_priv_open function to
perform a lazy allocation approach during ivpu_bo_pin().

By doing so, we avoid the overhead of allocating page tables for simple
operations like GET_PARAM that do not require them.
Additionally, the MMU context descriptor table initialization has been
moved to the ivpu_mmu_context_map_page function.

This change streamlines the process and ensures that the descriptor table
is only initialized when it is actually needed.
Refactor init/fini functions to remove redundant code and make the context
management more straightforward.

Overall, these changes lead to a reduction in the time taken by the file
descriptor open operation, as the costly root page table allocation is now
avoided for operations that do not require it.

93accc16a8 accel/qaic: Add crashdump to Sahara
The Sahara protocol has a crashdump functionality. In the hello
exchange, the device can advertise it has a memory dump available for

the host requests data from the device which can be later analyzed.

Implement this functionality and utilize the devcoredump framework for
handing the dump over to userspace.

Similar to how firmware loading in Sahara involves multiple files,
crashdump can consist of multiple files for different parts of the dump.
Structure these into a single buffer that userspace can parse and
extract the original files from.

11fc5ce6e2 accel/qaic: Pass string literal as format argument of alloc_workqueue()
Recently I noticed that both gcc-14 and clang-18 report that passing
a non-string literal as the format argument of alloc_workqueue()
is potentially insecure.

E.g. clang-18 says:

.../qaic_drv.c:61:23: warning: format string is not a string literal (potentially insecure) [-Wformat-security]
   61 |         wq = alloc_workqueue(fmt, WQ_UNBOUND, 0);
      | ^~~
.../qaic_drv.c:61:23: note: treat the string as an argument to avoid this
   61 |         wq = alloc_workqueue(fmt, WQ_UNBOUND, 0);
      | ^
      | "%s",

It is always the case where the contents of fmt is safe to pass as the
format argument. That is, in my understanding, it never contains any
format escape sequences.

But, it seems better to be safe than sorry. And, as a bonus, compiler
output becomes less verbose by addressing this issue as suggested by
clang-18.

Also, change the name of the parameter of qaicm_wq_init from
fmt to name to better reflect it's purpose.

Compile tested only.

5eaa497411 accel/ivpu: Prevent recovery invocation during probe and resume
Refactor IPC send and receive functions to allow correct
handling of operations that should not trigger a recovery process.

Expose ivpu_send_receive_internal(), which is now utilized by the D0i3
entry, DCT initialization, and HWS initialization functions.
These functions have been modified to return error codes gracefully,
rather than initiating recovery.

The updated functions are invoked within ivpu_probe() and ivpu_resume(),
ensuring that any errors encountered during these stages result in a proper
teardown or shutdown sequence. The previous approach of triggering recovery
within these functions could lead to a race condition, potentially causing
undefined behavior and kernel crashes due to null pointer dereferences.

45c4d994b8 accel: Use XArray instead of IDR for minors
Accel minor management is based on DRM (and is also using struct
drm_minor internally), since DRM is using XArray for minors, it makes
sense to also convert accel.
As the two implementations are identical (only difference being the
underlying xarray), move the accel_minor_* functionality to DRM.

58b5618ba8 accel/ivpu: Add missing MODULE_FIRMWARE metadata
Modules that load firmware from various paths at runtime must declare
those paths at compile time, via the MODULE_FIRMWARE macro, so that the
firmware paths are included in the module's metadata.

The accel/ivpu driver loads firmware but lacks this metadata,
preventing dracut from correctly locating firmware files. Fix it.

9dec27bb8a accel/habanalabs: gradual sleep in polling memory macro
It’s better to avoid long sleeps right from the beginning of the polling
since the data may be available much sooner than the sleep period.
Because polling host memory is inexpensive, this change gradually
increases the sleep time up to the user-requested period.

0199e6392e accel/habanalabs: move heartbeat work initialization to early init
The device heartbeat work is currently initialized at
device_heartbeat_schedule() which is called at the end of
hl_device_init().
However hl_device_init() can fail at a previous step, and in such a
case, a subsequent call to hl_device_fini() will lead to calling
cleanup_resources() and accessing this work uninitialized.

As there is no real need to re-initialize this work every time it is
rescheduled, move this initialization to device_early_init() to be done
once and early enough.

795f93e650 accel/habanalabs: revise print on EQ heartbeat failure
Don't print the "previous EQ index" value in case of a EQ heartbeat
failure, because it is incremented along with the EQ CI and therefore
redundant.

In addition, as the CPU-CP PI is zeroed when it reaches a value that is
twice the queue size, add a value of the CI with a similar wrap around,
to make it easier to compare the values.

52fbab90ed accel/habanalabs: change the heartbeat scheduling point
Currently we schedule the heartbeat thread at late init, only then
we set the INTS_REGISTER packet which enables events to be received

Init may take some time and we want to give firmware 2 full cycles of

The patch will move the heartbeat thread scheduling to be after driver
is done with all initializations.
