3373af1d76 arm64: dts: rockchip: disable unrouted USB controllers and PHY on RK3399 Puma
The u2phy1_host port is the part of the USB PHY1 (namely the
HOST1_DP/DM lanes) which routes directly to the USB2.0 HOST
controller[1]. The other lanes of the PHY are routed to the USB3.0 OTG
controller (dwc3), which we do use.

The HOST1_DP/DM lanes aren't routed on RK3399 Puma so let's simply
disable the USB2.0 controllers and associated part in USB2.0 PHY.

No intended functional change.

d7cc532df9 arm64: dts: rockchip: fix internal USB hub instability on RK3399 Puma
Currently, the onboard Cypress CYUSB3304 USB hub is not defined in
the device tree, and hub reset pin is provided as vcc5v0_host
regulator to usb phy. This causes instability issues, as a result
of improper reset duration.

The fixed regulator device requests the GPIO during probe in its
inactive state (except if regulator-boot-on property is set, in
which case it is requested in the active state). Considering gpio
is GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW for Puma, it means it’s driving it high. Then
the regulator gets enabled (because regulator-always-on property),
which drives it to its active state, meaning driving it low.

The Cypress CYUSB3304 USB hub actually requires the reset to be
asserted for at least 5 ms, which we cannot guarantee right now
since there's no delay in the current config, meaning the hub may
sometimes work or not. We could add delay as offered by
fixed-regulator but let's rather fix this by using the proper way
to model onboard USB hubs.

Define hub_2_0 and hub_3_0 nodes, as the onboard Cypress hub
consist of two 'logical' hubs, for USB2.0 and USB3.0.
Use the 'reset-gpios' property of hub to assign reset pin instead
of using regulator. Rename the vcc5v0_host regulator to
cy3304_reset to be more meaningful. Pin is configured to
output-high by default, which sets the hub in reset state
during pin controller initialization. This allows to avoid double
enumeration of devices in case the bootloader has setup the USB
hub before the kernel.
The vdd-supply and vdd2-supply properties in hub nodes are
added to provide correct dt-bindings, although power supplies are
always enabled based on HW design.

The signals are exposed on Q7 golden fingers but it's not a given that
the carrierboard will have an Ethernet jack. So let's move the enabling
of the Ethernet controller to the carrierboard DTS instead.

4a77f317c2 arm64: dts: rockchip: enable I2S0 in Haikou carrierboard, not Puma DTSI
I2S0 is routed to the Q7 golden fingers and, on Haikou carrierboard, to
an I2S codec. Nothing aside from signal routing is done on the SoM,
therefore it's the duty of the carrierboard to enable I2S0 whenever an
I2S codec is present.

Such is the case of the Haikou carrierboard, therefore let's migrate the
enabling of this controller to the carrierboard DTS instead of the SoM
DTSI.

f6fd2c1aa4 arm64: dts: rockchip: disable I2C6 on Puma DTSI
The bus is only exposed on Q7 Camera FFC connector which accepts
external adapters such as Q7 Camera Demo.

The enabling of I2C6 should therefore be done in the adapter Device Tree
Overlay and not in the SoM DTSI, so let's disable it by default.

52398b8bfa arm64: dts: rockchip: move I2C6 from Haikou carrierboard to Puma DTSI
I2C6 is not exposed on Q7 golden fingers which is for routing signals to
the carrierboard but on Q7 Camera connector, for routing signals to an
additional adapter (e.g. Q7 Camera Demo adapter).

Therefore, let's move the modification of I2C6 bus to Puma DTSI.

The DDC bus is necessarily on I2C3, that's how it's exposed by RK3399

If the carrierboard doesn't route it for some reason, /delete-property/
can be used to remove it.

9d241b0680 arm64: dts: rockchip: increase gmac rx_delay on rk3399-puma
During mass manufacturing, we noticed the mmc_rx_crc_error counter,
as reported by "ethtool -S eth0 | grep mmc_rx_crc_error", to increase
above zero during nuttcp speedtests. Most of the time, this did not
affect the achieved speed, but it prompted this investigation.

Cycling through the rx_delay range on six boards (see table below) of
various ages shows that there is a large good region from 0x12 to 0x35
where we see zero crc errors on all tested boards.

The old rx_delay value (0x10) seems to have always been on the edge for
the KSZ9031RNX that is usually placed on Puma.

Choose "rx_delay = 0x23" to put us smack in the middle of the good
region. This works fine as well with the KSZ9131RNX PHY that was used
for a small number of boards during the COVID chip shortages.

Property 'rockchip,system-power-controller' was deprecated in commit
961748bb15 ("dt-bindings: mfd: rk8xx: Deprecate rockchip,system-power-controller")

in the "rockchip,rk{805,808,809,817,818}.yaml" mtd bindings and its
replacement is (just) 'system-power-controller'.

Update the rk3399 DT files which still used the deprecated variant.

741f5ba7cc arm64: dts: rockchip: override BIOS_DISABLE signal via GPIO hog on RK3399 Puma
The Qseven BIOS_DISABLE signal on the RK3399-Q7 keeps the on-module eMMC
and SPI flash powered-down initially (in fact it keeps the reset signal
asserted). BIOS_DISABLE_OVERRIDE pin allows to override that signal so
that eMMC and SPI can be used regardless of the state of the signal.

Let's make this GPIO a hog so that it's reserved and locked in the
proper state.

At the same time, make sure the pin is reserved for the hog and cannot
be requested by another node.

bb94a157b3 arm64: dts: rockchip: fix eMMC/SPI corruption when audio has been used on RK3399 Puma
In commit 91419ae042 ("arm64: dts: rockchip: use BCLK to GPIO switch
on rk3399"), an additional pinctrl state was added whose default pinmux
is for 8ch i2s0. However, Puma only has 2ch i2s0. It's been overriding
the pinctrl-0 property but the second property override was missed in
the aforementioned commit.

On Puma, a hardware slider called "BIOS Disable/Normal Boot" can disable
eMMC and SPI to force booting from SD card. Another software-controlled
GPIO is then configured to override this behavior to make eMMC and SPI
available without human intervention. This is currently done in U-Boot
and it was enough until the aforementioned commit.

Indeed, because of this additional not-yet-overridden property, this
software-controlled GPIO is now muxed in a state that does not override
this hardware slider anymore, rendering SPI and eMMC flashes unusable.

Let's override the property with the 2ch pinmux to fix this.

296602b8e5 arm64: dts: rockchip: Move RK3399 OPPs to dtsi files for SoC variants
Rename the Rockchip RK3399 SoC dtsi files and, consequently, adjust their
contents and the contents of the affected board dts(i) files appropriately,
to "encapsulate" the different CPU and GPU OPPs for each of the supported
RK3399 SoC variants into the respective SoC variant dtsi files.

Moving the OPPs to the SoC variant dtsi files, instead of requiring the
board dts(i) files to include both the SoC variant dtsi file and the right
OPP variant dtsi file, reduces the possibility for mismatched inclusion and
improves the overall hierarchical representation of data.

These changes follow the approach used for the Rockchip RK3588 SoC variants,
which was introduced and described further in commit def88eb4d8 ("arm64:
dts: rockchip: Prepare RK3588 SoC dtsi files for per-variant OPPs").  Please
see that commit for a more detailed explanation.

No functional changes are introduced, which was validated by decompiling and
comparing all affected dtb files before and after these changes.  In more
detail, all decompiled dtb files remain exactly the same, except the files
list below, which results from all of them stemming from the same base board
dtsi file (rk3399-rock-pi-4.dtsi), while all of them include one of the three
different RK3399 SoC variant dtsi files by themselves:

  - rk3399-rock-4se.dtb
  - rk3399-rock-pi-4a.dtb
  - rk3399-rock-pi-4a-plus.dtb
  - rk3399-rock-pi-4b.dtb
  - rk3399-rock-pi-4b-plus.dtb
  - rk3399-rock-pi-4c.dtb

When compared with the decompiled original dtb files, these dtb files have
some of their blocks shuffled around a bit and some of their phandles have
different values, as a result of the changes to the order in which the
building blocks from the parent dtsi files are included into them, but they
still effectively remain the same as the originals.

The only exception to the "include only a SoC variant dtsi" is found in
rk3399-evb.dts, which includes rk3399-base.dtsi instead of rk3399.dtsi.
This is intentional, because this board dts file doesn't enable the TSADC,
so including rk3399.dtsi would enable the SoC to go into higher OPPs with
no thermal throttling in place.  Let's hope that people interested in this
board will fix this in the future.

As a side note, due to the nature of introduced changes, this commit is best
viewed using the --break-rewrites option for git-log(1).

d7ed698abc arm64: dts: rockchip: add regulators for PCIe on RK3399 Puma Haikou
The PCIe PHY requires two regulators and are present on the SoM
directly, while the PCIe connector also exposes 3V3 and 12V power rails
which are available on the baseboard.

Considering that 3/4 regulators are always-on on HW level and that the
last one depends on a regulator from the PMIC that is specified as
always on, this commit should be purely cosmetic and no change in
behavior is expected.

Let's add all regulators for PCIe on RK3399 Puma Haikou.

945a7c8570 arm64: dts: rockchip: enable internal pull-up on PCIE_WAKE# for RK3399 Puma
The PCIE_WAKE# has a diode used as a level-shifter, and is used as an
input pin. While the SoC default is to enable the pull-up, the core
rk3399 pinconf for this pin opted for pull-none. So as to not disturb
the behaviour of other boards which may rely on pull-none instead of
pull-up, set the needed pull-up only for RK3399 Puma.

e6b1168f37 arm64: dts: rockchip: enable internal pull-up on Q7_USB_ID for RK3399 Puma
The Q7_USB_ID has a diode used as a level-shifter, and is used as an
input pin. The SoC default for this pin is a pull-up, which is correct
but the pinconf in the introducing commit missed that, so let's fix this
oversight.

0ac417b8f1 arm64: dts: rockchip: enable internal pull-up for Q7_THRM# on RK3399 Puma
Q7_THRM# pin is connected to a diode on the module which is used
as a level shifter, and the pin have a pull-down enabled by
default. We need to configure it to internal pull-up, other-
wise whenever the pin is configured as INPUT and we try to
control it externally the value will always remain zero.

39d9556623 arm64: dts: rockchip: expose BIOS Disable feedback pin on rk3399-puma
The Puma SoM allows to select in hardware directly which storage
medium to try for loading the bootloader, either SPI-NOR followed
by eMMC followed by SD card, or SD card only.

This signal is exposed on the Q7 connector and allows carrierboards
to control it however they want.

This feedback pin allows to know in which state the SoM currently
is and provided the current state isn't modified until next reboot,
know from which storage medium the bootloader could be loaded from
next time.

5d90cb1edc arm64: dts: rockchip: Remove ethernet0 alias from the SoC dtsi for RK3399
Not all supported boards actually use the RK3399's built-in GMAC, while the
SoC TRM and the datasheet don't define some standard numbering in this case.
Thus, remove the ethernet0 alias from the RK3399 SoC dtsi file, and add the
same alias back to the appropriate board dts(i) files.

This is quite similar to the already performed migration of the mmcX aliases
from the Rockchip SoC dtsi files to the board dts(i) files.

62966cbdda arm64: dts: rockchip: fix rk3399-puma eMMC HS400 signal integrity
There are signal integrity issues running the eMMC at 200MHz on Puma
RK3399-Q7.

Similar to the work-around found for RK3399 Gru boards, lowering the
frequency to 100MHz made the eMMC much more stable, so let's lower the
frequency to 100MHz.

It might be possible to run at 150MHz as on RK3399 Gru boards but only
100MHz was extensively tested.

The micro USB3.0 port available on the Haikou evaluation kit for Puma
RK3399-Q7 SoM supports dual-role model (aka drd or OTG) but its support
was broken until now because of missing logic around the ID pin.

This adds proper support for USB OTG on Puma Haikou by "connecting" the
GPIO used for USB ID to the USB3 controller device.

6dd5e12c0b arm64: dts: rockchip: rename and label gpio-led subnodes part 2
Current dts files with 'gpio-led' nodes were manually verified.
In order to automate this process leds-gpio.txt
has been converted to yaml. With this conversion a check
for pattern properties was added. In part 2 rename and label
gpio-led subnodes that passed the regex, but still don't have
the preferred form. Any pin subnode that ends with '-gpio'
in the pinctrl node generates a warning.

Fix with help of the following rules:

1: Add nodename in the preferred form.

2: Always add a label that ends with '_led' to prevent conflicts
   with other labels such as 'power' and 'mmc'

3: If leds need pinctrl add a label that ends with '_led_pin'
   also to prevent conflicts with other labels.

c8e3993dd5 dt-bindings: hwmon (pwm-fan) Remove dead "cooling-*-state" properties
The old "cooling-{min,max}-state" properties for thermal bindings were
ratified to "cooling-{min,max}-level" by commit eb168b70de ("of:
thermal: Fix inconsitency between cooling-*-state and cooling-*-level"),
which were later removed entirely by commit e04907dbc2 ("dt-bindings:
thermal: Remove "cooling-{min|max}-level" properties").

The pwm-fan binding, however, was apparently in-flight in parallel with
that ratification, and so managed to introduce an example of the old
properties which escaped the scope of the later cleanup and has thus
continued to be dutifully copied for new boards despite being useless.
Clean up these remaining undocumented anachronisms to minimise any
further confusion.

d64420e816 arm64: dts: rockchip: bulk convert gpios to their constant counterparts
Rockchip SoCs use 2 different numbering schemes. Where the gpio-
controllers just count 0-31 for their 32 gpios, the underlying
iomux controller splits these into 4 separate entities A-D.

Device-schematics always use these iomux-values to identify pins,
so to make mapping schematics to devicetree easier Andy Yan introduced
named constants for the pins but so far we only used them on new
additions.

Using a sed-script created by Emil Renner Berthing bulk-convert
the remaining raw gpio numbers into their descriptive counterparts
and also gets rid of the unhelpful RK_FUNC_x -> x and RK_GPIOx -> x
mappings:

b4e1728232 arm64: dts: rockchip: Decrease emmc-phy's drive impedance on rk3399-puma
The RK3399-Q7 (Puma) requires 33 Ohm drive strength to ensure signal
integrity at HS-400 (200MHz clock, DDR signalling).

A repeated EMC testing run validates that this increase does not
negatively impact EMC compliance (emissions have ample distance to
the regulatory limits).

4486baca66 arm64: dts: rockchip: generalize rk3399 #sound-dai-cells
The soc spdif and i2s controllers always only have one compontent, so
always require #sound-dai-cells to be 0. Therefore there is no need to
duplicate this property in individual boards.

So move them to rk3399.dtsi.

4ee99cebd4 arm64: dts: rockchip: use SPDX-License-Identifier
Update all 64bit rockchip devicetree files to use SPDX-License-Identifiers.

All devicetrees claim to be either GPL or X11 while the actual license
text is MIT. Therefore we use MIT for the SPDX tag as X11 is clearly
wrong.

fd3e830387 arm64: dts: rockchip: enable typec-phy1 for rk3399-puma
Commit c301b327ae ("arm64: dts: rockchip: add usb3-phy otg-port
support for rk3399") caused a regression regarding the USB3. During boot,
the following message appears a few times:

      dwc3: failed to initialize core

The driver is deferred waiting for the typec-phy, but this never happens
beause is disabled. So, enable it.

The offending commit was reverted in 4.16-rc but can be re-applied
after enabling the typec phys.

87eba07160 arm64: dts: rockchip: remove vdd_log from rk3399-puma
vdd_log has no consumer and therefore will not be set to a specific
voltage. Still the PWM output pin gets configured and thence the vdd_log
output voltage will changed from it's default. Depending on the idle
state of the PWM this will slightly over or undervoltage the logic supply
of the RK3399 and cause instability with GbE (undervoltage) and PCIe
(overvoltage). Since the default value set by a voltage divider is the
correct supply voltage and we don't need to change it during runtime we
remove the rail from the devicetree completely so the PWM pin will not
be configured.

The vcc_sd or vcc_sdio used for IO voltage for sdmmc and sdio
