2339bc6b42 arm64: dts: rockchip: Add vcc-supply to SPI flash on rk3328-rock64
As described on page 6 of the Rock64 schematics for both v2.0 and v3.0
the SPI Flash's VCC connector is connected to the VCC_IO power source.

This fixes the following warning:

  spi-nor spi0.0: supply vcc not found, using dummy regulator

3ca11da6e8 arm64: dts: rockchip: Delete redundant RK3328 GMAC stability fixes
Since the commit 8a469ee356 ("arm64: dts: rockchip: Add txpbl node for
RK3399/RK3328"), having "snps,txpbl" properties defined as Ethernet stability
fixes in RK3328-based board dts(i) files is redundant, because that commit
added the required fix to the RK3328 SoC dtsi, so let's delete them.

It has been determined that the Ethernet stability fixes no longer require
"snps,rxpbl", "snps,aal" and "snps,force_thresh_dma_mode" properties, [1][2]
out of which the last two also induce performance penalties, so let's delete
these properties from the relevant RK3328-based board dts(i) files.

This commit completes the removal of these redundant "snps,*" DT properties
that was started by a patch from Peter Geis. [3]

cdb98af8c2 arm64: dts: rockchip: Drop rockchip prefix of s-p-c PMIC prop from rk3328
Property 'rockchip,system-power-controller' was deprecated in commit
961748bb15 ("dt-bindings: mfd: rk8xx: Deprecate rockchip,system-power-controller")

in the "rockchip,rk{805,808,809,817,818}.yaml" mtd bindings and its
replacement is (just) 'system-power-controller'.

Update the rk3328 DT files which still used the deprecated variant.

dbdadc14b9 arm64: dts: rockchip: Add avdd supplies to hdmi on rock64
Pine64's Rock64 was missing the avdd supply properties on the hdmi node,
causing the following warnings:

  dwhdmi-rockchip ff3c0000.hdmi: supply avdd-0v9 not found, using dummy regulator
  dwhdmi-rockchip ff3c0000.hdmi: supply avdd-1v8 not found, using dummy regulator

In the Rock64 Schematic document version 2.0 those supplies are marked
as DVIDEO_AVDD_1V0 and DVIDEO_AVDD_1V8 respectively, but in version 3.0
those are named HDMI_AVDD_1V0 and HDMI_AVDD_1V8, which is a bit clearer.
In both versions those are connected to LDO3 and LDO1 respectively.

While the DeviceTree property is named 'avdd-0v9-supply' the
'rockchip,dw-hdmi.yaml' binding document notes the following:

  A 0.9V supply that powers up the SoC internal circuitry. The actual
  pin name varies between the different SoCs and is usually
  HDMI_TX_AVDD_0V9 or sometimes HDMI_AVDD_1V0.

So the 'vdd_10' reference is not an error.

9012ab6bd0 arm64: dts: rockchip: Remove ethernetX aliases from the SoC dtsi for RK3328
Not all supported boards actually use the RK3328's built-in GMACs, while the
SoC TRM and the datasheet don't define some standard numbering in this case.
Thus, remove the ethernet0 and ethernet1 aliases from the RK3328 SoC dtsi file,
and add the same alias back to the appropriate board dts(i) files.

These changes also touch one RK3318-based board dts, because it actually
depends on the RK3328 SoC dtsi and enables one of the GMACs.

This is quite similar to the already performed migration of the mmcX aliases
from the Rockchip SoC dtsi files to the board dts(i) files.

03633c4ef1 arm64: dts: rockchip: fix USB regulator on ROCK64
Currently the ROCK64 device tree specifies two regulators, vcc_host_5v
and vcc_host1_5v for USB VBUS on the device. Both of those are however
specified with RK_PA2 as the GPIO enabling them, causing the following
error when booting:

  rockchip-pinctrl pinctrl: pin gpio0-2 already requested by vcc-host-5v-regulator; cannot claim for vcc-host1-5v-regulator
  rockchip-pinctrl pinctrl: pin-2 (vcc-host1-5v-regulator) status -22
  rockchip-pinctrl pinctrl: could not request pin 2 (gpio0-2) from group usb20-host-drv  on device rockchip-pinctrl
  reg-fixed-voltage vcc-host1-5v-regulator: Error applying setting, reverse things back

Looking at the schematic, there are in fact three USB regulators,
vcc_host_5v, vcc_host1_5v and vcc_otg_v5. But the enable signal for all
three is driven by Q2604 which is in turn driven by GPIO_A2/PA2.

Since these three regulators are not controllable separately, I removed
the second one which was causing the error and added labels for all
rails to the single regulator.

b14431843b arm64: dts: rockchip: rename flash nodenames
Nodes with compatible "jedec,spi-nor" are now checked with
jedec,spi-nor.yaml and mtd.yaml. The pattern is now
"^flash(@.*)?$", so change that for the boards with a
Rockchip SoC.

bbac8bd65f arm64: dts: rockchip: Enable USB3 for rk3328 Rock64
Enable USB3 nodes for the rk3328-based PINE Rock64 board.

The separate power regulator is not added as it is controlled by the
same GPIO line as the existing VBUS regulators, so it is already
enabled. Also there is no port representation to tie the regulator to.

25572fb5aa arm64: dts: rockchip: enable HDMI sound nodes for rk3328-rock64
This patch enables HDMI sound (I2S0) and Analog sound (I2S1) which
are defined in rk3328.dtsi, and replace SPDIF nodes.

We can use SPDIF pass-through with suitable ALSA settings and on
mpv or other media players.

[Why use simple-audio-card for SPDIF?]

For newly adding nodes, ASoC guys recommend to use audio-graph-card.
But all other sound nodes for rk3328 have already been defined by
simple-audio-card. In this time, I chose for consistent sound nodes.

[DMA allocation problem]

After this patch is applied, UART2 will fail to allocate DMA resources
but UART driver can work fine without DMA.

This error is related to the DMAC of rk3328 (pl330 or compatible).
DMAC connected to 16 DMA sources. Each sources have ID number that is
called 'Req number' in rk3328 TRM. After this patch is applied total 7
of DMA sources will be activated as follows:

Due to rk3328 DMAC specification we can use max 8 channels at same
time. If SPI0/I2S0/I2S1/SPDIF will be activated by this patch,
required DMAC channels reach to 7. So the last two channels (for
UART2) cannot get DMA resources.

Virt-dma mechanism for pl0330 DMAC driver is needed to fix this
problem.

A test with the command below gives for example this error:

'gpio' is a sort of reserved nodename and should not be used
for pinctrl in combination with 'rockchip,pins', so change
nodes that end with 'gpio' to end with 'pin' or 'pins'.

e916d85b92 arm64: dts: rockchip: rename and label gpio-led subnodes
Current dts files with 'gpio-led' nodes were manually verified.
In order to automate this process leds-gpio.txt
has been converted to yaml. With this conversion a check
for pattern properties was added. A test with the command
below gives a screen full of warnings like:

Fix these errors with help of the following rules:

1: Add nodename in the preferred form.

2: Always add a label that ends with '_led' to prevent conflicts
   with other labels such as 'power' and 'mmc'

3: If leds need pinctrl add a label that ends with '_led_pin'
   also to prevent conflicts with other labels.

In some board device tree files, "rk805" was used for the RK805 PMIC's
node name. However the policy for device trees is that generic names
should be used.

Replace the "rk805" node name with the generic "pmic" name.

9301d28dcc arm64: dts: rockchip: fix vcc_host_5v regulator for usb3 host
According to rock64 schemetic V2 and V3, the VCC_HOST_5V output is
controlled by USB_20_HOST_DRV, which is the same as VCC_HOST1_5V.

V1 hardware was never sold and only V2/V3 is with customers,
so there is no need to keep a seaprate v1 version around.

The rk3328 i2s and spdif controllers only ever have one output
connection, so as with all implementations of the rk3066 i2s

cd7ab133db arm64: dts: rockchip: Enable SPI NOR flash on Rock64
The Pine64 Rock64 board comes with a GigaDevice GD25Q128CSIG
or GD25Q127CSIG chip, which is a 128 Mbit SPI NOR flash chip
that supports the JEDEC read-ID command.

This patch enables the SPI controller and adds a device node
for the flash chip using the generic "jedec,spi-nor" comaptible.

This patch fixes pin assign of vcc_host1_5v. This regulator is

ROCK64 schematic says that GPIO0_A2 pin is used as USB20_HOST_DRV.

4ee99cebd4 arm64: dts: rockchip: use SPDX-License-Identifier
Update all 64bit rockchip devicetree files to use SPDX-License-Identifiers.

All devicetrees claim to be either GPL or X11 while the actual license
text is MIT. Therefore we use MIT for the SPDX tag as X11 is clearly
wrong.

73e42e1866 arm64: dts: rockchip: fix rock64 gmac2io stability issues
This commit enables thresh dma mode as this forces to disable checksuming,
and chooses delay values which make the interface stable.

These changes are needed, because ROCK64 is faced with two problems:
1. tx checksuming does not work with packets larger than 1498,
2. the default delays for tx/rx are not stable when using 1Gbps connection.

bc631943fa arm64: dts: rockchip: limit rk3328-rock64 gmac speed to 100MBit for now
It looks like either the current kernel or the hardware has reliability
issues when the gmac is actually running at 1GBit. In my test-case
it is not able to boot on a nfsroot at this speed, as the system
will always lose the connection to the nfs-server during boot, before
reaching any login prompt and not recover from this.

So until this is solved, limit the speed to 100MBit as with this the
nfsroot survives stress tests like an apt-get upgrade without problems.

The ROCK64 is a credit card size 4K60P HDR Media Board Computer using the
Rockchip RK3328 Quad-Core ARM Cortex A53 64-Bit Processor and supporting
up to 4GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 memory. It provides eMMC module socket, MicroSD
Card slot, Pi-2 Bus, Pi-P5+ Bus, USB 3.0 and many others peripheral
devices interface for makers to integrate with sensors and devices.

The devicetree currently supports basic peripherals, with more to be
added later on.
