ASoC: doc: cs35l56: Update to add new SoundWire firmware filename suffix
Add the new firmware filename suffix used for SoundWire systems with
CS35L57, CS35L63 or CS35L56 later than B0 silicon. This uses the SoundWire
physical address of the amp to identify which firmware file to load on that
amp.

6640c9bc5c ASoC: doc: Add documentation for SOC USB
With the introduction of the soc-usb driver, add documentation highlighting
details on how to utilize the new driver and how it interacts with
different components in USB SND and ASoC. It provides examples on how to
implement the drivers that will need to be introduced in order to enable
USB audio offloading.

e50da555ca sound updates for 6.15-rc1
We've received lots of commits at this time, as a result of various
cleanup and refactoring works as well as a few new drivers and the
generic SoundWire support. Most of changes are device-specific,
little about the core changes. Some highlights below:

 Core:
 * A couple of (rather minor) race fixes in ALSA sequencer code
 * A regression fix in ALSA timer code that may lead to a deadlock

 ASoC:
 * A large series of code conversion to use modern terminology for the
   clocking configuration
 * Conversions of PM ops with the modern macros in all ASoC drivers
 * Clarification of the control operations
 * Prepartory work for more generic SoundWire SCDA controls
 * Support for AMD ACP 7.x, AWINC WM88166, Everest ES8388, Intel AVS
PEAKVOL and GAIN DSP modules Mediatek MT8188 DMIC, NXP i.MX95,
nVidia Tegra interconnects, Rockchip RK3588 S/PDIF, Texas
Instruments SN012776 and TAS5770L, and Wolfson WM8904 DMICs

 Others:
 * Conversions of PM ops with the modern macros in the rest drivers
 * USB-audio quirks and fixes for Presonus Studio, DJM-A9, CME
 * HD-audio quirks and fixes ASUS, HP, Lenovo, and others

Note that the PR contains some changes from the tip tree for AMD code,
and it might give some merge conflict due to the rebase afterwards.

This is a very big release due to a combination of some big new work,
mainly new drivers and generic SoundWire support, and some wide ranging
cleanup work that made small changes to a lot of drivers.

  - Morimoto-san has completed the conversion to use modern terminology
for the clocking configuration, and several other cleanups with
    narrower impact.
  - All the power management operation configuration was updated to use
    current idioms by Takashi Iwai.
  - Clarification of the control operations from Charles Keepax.
  - Prepartory work for more generic SoundWire SCDA controls from Charles
    Keepax.
  - Support for AMD ACP 7.x, AWINC WM88166, Everest ES8388, Intel AVS

and some devres refactoring that was pulled in to support other changes.

3ab4a3199c ALSA: seq: Notify UMP EP and FB changes
So far we notify the sequencer client and port changes upon UMP FB
changes, but those aren't really corresponding to the UMP updates.
e.g. when a FB info gets updated, it's not notified but done only when
some of sequencer port attribute is changed. This is no ideal
behavior.

This patch adds the two new sequencer event types for notifying the
UMP EP and FB changes via the announce port. The new event takes
snd_seq_ev_ump_notify type data, which is compatible with
snd_seq_addr (where the port number is replaced with the block
number).

The events are sent when the EP and FB info gets updated explicitly
via ioctl, or the backend UMP receives the corresponding UMP
messages.

The sequencer protocol version is bumped to 1.0.5 along with it.

b8fefed73a ALSA: rawmidi: Show substream activity in info ioctl
The UMP legacy rawmidi may turn on/off the substream dynamically
depending on the UMP Function Block information. So far, there was no
direct way to know whether the substream is disabled (inactive) or
not; at most one can take a look at the substream name string or try
to open and get -ENODEV.

This patch extends the rawmidi info ioctl to show the current inactive
state of the given substream. When the selected substream is
inactive, info flags field contains the new bit flag
SNDRV_RAWMIDI_INFO_STREAM_INACTIVE.

The UMP legacy rawmidi is derived from the UMP rawmidi, but currently
there is no way to know which device is involved in other side.

This patch extends the rawmidi info ioctl to show the tied device
number. As default it stores -1, indicating that no tied device.

04177158cf ALSA: compress_offload: introduce accel operation mode
There is a requirement to expose the audio hardware that accelerates various
tasks for user space such as sample rate converters, compressed
stream decoders, etc.

This is description for the API extension for the compress ALSA API which
is able to handle "tasks" that are not bound to real-time operations
and allows for the serialization of operations.

For details, refer to "compress-accel.rst" document.

We want sometimes to keep the runtime PM disabled persistently just
like we did for the PM deny-list in the previous change, e.g. for

The default behavior doesn't change -- the driver looks up the deny
list and disables the runtime PM if matches. However, when
pm_blacklist=1 option is set, now the driver disables the runtime PM
completely, just like the deny-list does.

Update the documentation for this option, too.
