dt-bindings: net: Define interrupt constraints for DWMAC vendor bindings
The `snps, dwmac.yaml` binding currently sets `maxItems: 3` for the `interrupts` and `interrupt-names` properties, but vendor bindings selecting `snps, dwmac.yaml` do not impose these limits. Define constraints for `interrupts` and `interrupt-names` properties in various DWMAC vendor bindings to ensure proper validation and consistency. Networking changes for 6.2.
Core ---- - Allow live renaming when an interface is up - Add retpoline wrappers for tc, improving considerably the performances of complex queue discipline configurations. - Add inet drop monitor support. - A few GRO performance improvements. - Add infrastructure for atomic dev stats, addressing long standing data races. - De-duplicate common code between OVS and conntrack offloading infrastructure. - A bunch of UBSAN_BOUNDS/FORTIFY_SOURCE improvements. - Netfilter: introduce packet parser for tunneled packets - Replace IPVS timer-based estimators with kthreads to scale up the workload with the number of available CPUs. - Add the helper support for connection-tracking OVS offload. BPF --- - Support for user defined BPF objects: the use case is to allocate own objects, build own object hierarchies and use the building blocks to build own data structures flexibly, for example, linked lists in BPF. - Make cgroup local storage available to non-cgroup attached BPF programs. - Avoid unnecessary deadlock detection and failures wrt BPF task storage helpers. - A relevant bunch of BPF verifier fixes and improvements. - Veristat tool improvements to support custom filtering, sorting, and replay of results. - Add LLVM disassembler as default library for dumping JITed code. - Lots of new BPF documentation for various BPF maps. - Add bpf_rcu_read_{,un}lock() support for sleepable programs. - Add RCU grace period chaining to BPF to wait for the completion of access from both sleepable and non-sleepable BPF programs. - Add support storing struct task_struct objects as kptrs in maps. - Improve helper UAPI by explicitly defining BPF_FUNC_xxx integer values. - Add libbpf *_opts API-variants for bpf_*_get_fd_by_id() functions. dt-bindings: Remove "status" from schema examples, again
There's no reason to have "status" properties in examples. "okay" is the default, and "disabled" turns off some schema checks ('required' specifically). dt-bindings: Improve phandle-array schemas
The 'phandle-array' type is a bit ambiguous. It can be either just an array of phandles or an array of phandles plus args. Many schemas for phandle-array properties aren't clear in the schema which case applies though the description usually describes it. The array of phandles case boils down to needing: items: maxItems: 1 The phandle plus args cases should typically take this form: items: - items: - description: A phandle - description: 1st arg cell - description: 2nd arg cell With this change, some examples need updating so that the bracketing of property values matches the schema. dt-bindings: Drop more redundant 'maxItems/minItems'
Another round of removing redundant minItems/maxItems from new schema in the recent merge window. If a property has an 'items' list, then a 'minItems' or 'maxItems' with the same size as the list is redundant and can be dropped. Note that is DT schema specific behavior and not standard json-schema behavior. The tooling will fixup the final schema adding any unspecified minItems/maxItems. Cc: "David S.
