f4271a891d dt-bindings: gpio: Correct indentation and style in DTS example
DTS example in the bindings should be indented with 2- or 4-spaces and
aligned with opening '- |', so correct any differences like 3-spaces or
mixtures 2- and 4-spaces in one binding. While re-indenting, drop
unused labels.

No functional changes here, but saves some comments during reviews of
new patches built on existing code.

267f2c5662 dt-bindings: gpio: fairchild,74hc595: Document chip select vs. latch clock
From looking at the data sheets, it is not obvious that CS# and latch
clock can be treated at the same, but doing so works fine and saves the
hassle of (1) trying to specify a SPI device without CS, and (2) adding
another property to drive the latch clock[1].

a0c479bfff dt-bindings: gpio: simplify GPIO hog nodes schema
The core schema in dtschema already strictly defines contents of nodes
with "gpio-hog" property (with additionalProperties: false), thus the
only thing device schema should do is: define "type: object" and
required "gpio-hog". Make the code a bit simpler by removing redundant
parts.

1e65d136d9 dt-bindings: gpio: fairchild,74hc595: use spi-peripheral-props.yaml
Instead of listing directly properties typical for SPI peripherals,
reference the spi-peripheral-props.yaml schema. This allows using all
properties typical for SPI-connected devices, even these which device
bindings author did not tried yet.

Remove the spi-* properties which now come via spi-peripheral-props.yaml
schema, except for the cases when device schema adds some constraints
like maximum frequency.

While changing additionalProperties->unevaluatedProperties, put it in
typical place, just before example DTS.

4e71ed9853 dt-bindings: Fix properties without any type
Now that the schema tools can extract type information for all
properties (in order to decode dtb files), finding properties missing
any type definition is fairly trivial though not yet automated.

Fix the various property schemas which are missing a type. Most of these
tend to be device specific properties which don't have a vendor prefix.
A vendor prefix is how we normally ensure a type is defined.

56b01acc1c dt-bindings: gpio: fairchild,74hc595: Convert to json-schema
Convert the Generic 8-bit shift register Device Tree binding
documentation to json-schema.

Rename from gpio-74x164 to fairchild,74hc595, as the former refers to
the Linux driver, and not to a hardware name.
Add the missing hog description.
