ec66abb42d dt-bindings: display/msm/dsi: allow specifying TE source
Command mode panels provide TE signal back to the DSI host to signal
that the frame display has completed and update of the image will not
cause tearing. Usually it is connected to the first GPIO with the
mdp_vsync function, which is the default. In such case the property can
be skipped.

0247d99d09 dt-bindings: display/msm/gmu: Add Adreno 7[34]0 GMU
The GMU on the A7xx series is pretty much the same as on the A6xx parts.
It's now "smarter", needs a bit less register writes and controls more
things (like inter-frame power collapse) mostly internally (instead of
us having to write to G[PM]U_[CG]X registers from APPS)

The only difference worth mentioning is the now-required DEMET clock,
which is strictly required for things like asserting reset lines, not
turning it on results in GMU not being fully functional (all OOB requests
would fail and HFI would hang after the first submitted OOB).

Describe the A730 and A740 GMU.

1544df9ab4 ARM: SoC drivers for 6.6
The main change this time is the introduction of the drivers/genpd
subsystem that gets split out from drivers/soc to keep common
functionality together. Ulf Hansson is taking over maintainership for
these and is sending a separate pull request with the same commits,
but they are in the soc drivers tree to avoid conflicts against other
 soc driver patches.

The SCMI driver subsystem gets an update to version 3.2 of the
specification. There are also updates to memory, reset and other firmware
 drivers.

On the soc driver side, the updates are mostly cleanups across a number
of Arm platforms. On driver for loongarch adds power management for DT
based systems, another driver is for HiSilicon's Arm server chips with
 their HCCS system health interface.

The remaining updates for the most part add support for additional
hardware in existing drivers or contain minor cleanups. Most of these
are for the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform.

63204be280 dt-bindings: display/msm/gmu: Add GMU wrapper
The "GMU Wrapper" is Qualcomm's name for "let's treat the GPU blocks
we'd normally assign to the GMU as if they were a part of the GMU, even
though they are not". It's a (good) software representation of the GMU_CX
and GMU_GX register spaces within the GPUSS that helps us programatically
treat these de-facto GMU-less parts in a way that's very similar to their
GMU-equipped cousins, massively saving up on code duplication.

The "wrapper" register space was specifically designed to mimic the layout
of a real GMU, though it rather obviously does not have the M3 core et al.

To sum it all up, the GMU wrapper is essentially a register space within
the GPU, which Linux sees as a dumbed-down regular GMU: there's no clocks,
interrupts, multiple reg spaces, iommus and OPP. Document it.

0c0f65c6dd dt-bindings: msm: dsi-controller-main: Add compatible strings for every current SoC
Currently we do not differentiate between the various users of the
qcom,mdss-dsi-ctrl. The driver is flexible enough to operate from one

in the number of clocks.

To facilitate documenting the clocks add the following compatible strings

- qcom,apq8064-dsi-ctrl
- qcom,msm8916-dsi-ctrl
- qcom,msm8953-dsi-ctrl
- qcom,msm8974-dsi-ctrl

- qcom,sm8350-dsi-ctrl
- qcom,sm8450-dsi-ctrl
- qcom,sm8550-dsi-ctrl
- qcom,qcm2290-dsi-ctrl

Deprecate qcom,dsi-ctrl-6g-qcm2290 in favour of the desired format while we
do so.

Several MDSS yaml files exist which document the dsi sub-node.

adf6a3ebba dt-bindings: msm: dsi-controller-main: Add vdd* descriptions back in
When converting from .txt to .yaml we didn't include descriptions for the
existing regulator supplies.

- vdd
- vdda
- vddio

Add those descriptions into the yaml now as they were prior to the
conversion. In the .txt description we marked these regulators as required,
however, that requirement appears to have been in error.

Taking the example of sc7180-trogdor-wormdingler.dtsi. The avdd and avee
come from GPIO controlled external regulators, not the SoC and in this case
there's no need for vddio to power an I/O bus. Similarly the regulators for
the LCD are controlled by the panel driver not by the dsi-ctrl driver.

It would be possible to connect a different type of panel to the DSI bus
here in which case we may or may not want to make use of vdd, vdda or
vddio.

This is also the case for older chipsets like apq8064, msm8916 etc the vdd*
regulators in the dsi-ctrl block are helpers not dependencies.

Add the description of vdd, vdda and vddio back in for the existing
upstream dts where vdd, vdda or vddio are already declared but, don't
declare those regulators required - they are not SoC requirements.

66af52d2d4 dt-bindings: msm/dsi: Don't require vdds-supply on 7nm PHY
On some SoCs (hello SM6375) vdds-supply is not wired to any smd-rpm
or rpmh regulator, but instead powered by the VDD_MX/mx.lvl line,
which is voted for in the DSI ctrl node.
