Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM
as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate.
Deterministic algorithm:
For each file:
If not .svg:
For each line:
If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`:
For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`:
If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`:
If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions
return 200 OK and serve the same content:

This changes how the 'ti,deskew' property is defined. It's now an
unsigned value from 0 to 7 instead of a signed value from -4 to 3.
Until the dtc carries the integer sign through to the yaml output it's
easier to define signed types as unsigned.

The ti-sn65dsi86 MIPI DSI to eDP bridge chip has a dedicated hardware
HPD (Hot Plug Detect) pin on it, but it's mostly useless for eDP
because of excessive debouncing in hardware. Specifically there is no
way to disable the debouncing and for eDP debouncing hurts you because
HPD is just used for knowing when the panel is ready, not for
detecting physical plug events.
Currently the driver in Linux just assumes that nobody has HPD hooked
up. It relies on folks setting the "no-hpd" property in the panel
node to specify that HPD isn't hooked up and then the panel driver
using this to add some worst case delays when turning on the panel.
Apparently it's also useful to specify "no-hpd" in the bridge node so
that the bridge driver can make sure it's doing the right thing
without peeking into the panel [1]. This would be used if anyone ever
found it useful to implement support for the HW HPD pin on the bridge.
Let's add this property to the bindings.
NOTES:
- This is somewhat of a backward-incompatible change. All current
known users of ti-sn65dsi86 didn't have "no-hpd" specified in the
bridge node yet none of them had HPD hooked up. This worked because
the current Linux driver just assumed that HPD was never hooked up.
We could make it less incompatible by saying that for this bridge
it's assumed HPD isn't hooked up _unless_ a property is defined, but
"no-hpd" is much more standard and it's unlikely to matter unless
someone quickly goes and implements HPD in the driver.
- It is sensible to specify "no-hpd" at the bridge chip level and
specify "hpd-gpios" at the panel level. That would mean HPD is
hooked up to some other GPIO in the system, just not the hardware
HPD pin on the bridge chip.

The simple-bridge driver supports multiple simple or dumb bridges,
covered by different compatible strings but otherwise identical DT
bindings. Some of those bridges have undocumented bindings, while others
are documented in text form in separate files. Group them all in a
single binding and convert it to YAML.
The psave-gpios property of the adi,adv7123 is dropped, as it isn't
supported by the driver and isn't specified in any DT file upstream.
Support for power saving is available through the enable-gpios property
that should cover all the needs of the ADV7123 (as the device only has a
/PSAVE pin and no enable pin).

In an effort to repurpose lvds-encoder.c to also serve the
function of LVDS decoders, we ended up defining a new "generic"
compatible string ("lvds-decoder"), therefore adapt the dt schema
to allow for the new compatible string.

Add a new optional renesas, companion property to point to the companion
LVDS encoder. This is used to support dual-link operation where the main
LVDS encoder splits even-numbered and odd-numbered pixels between the
two LVDS encoders.
The new property doesn't control the mode of operation, it only
describes the relationship between the master and companion LVDS
encoders.

The name powerdown-gpios is the standard property name for the
functionality covered by the previous pwdn-gpios name. This rename
should be safe to do since the linux driver supporting the binding
(lvds-encoder.c) never implemented the property, and no dts file
names it. At least not upstream.

On the D3 and E3 SoCs, the LVDS encoder can derive its internal pixel

through one of the DU_DOTCLKINx pins. Add corresponding clocks to the DT

To retain backward compatibility with DT that don't specify the

Document the bindings used for the sn65dsi86 DSI to eDP bridge.
Changes in v1:
- Rephrase the dt-binding descriptions to be more inline with existing
bindings (Andrzej Hajda).
- Add missing dt-binding that are parsed by corresponding driver
(Andrzej Hajda).
Changes in v2:
- Remove edp panel specific dt-binding entries. Only keep bridge
specific entries (Sean Paul).
- Remove custom-modes dt entry since its usage is removed from driver also (Sean Paul).
- Remove is-pluggable dt entry since this will not be needed anymore (Sean Paul).
Changes in v3:
- Remove irq-gpio dt entry and instead populate is an interrupt
property (Rob Herring).

'interrupt-parent' is often documented as part of define bindings, but
it is really outside the scope of a device binding. It's never required
in a given node as it is often inherited from a parent node. Or it can
be implicit if a parent node is an 'interrupt-controller' node. So
remove it from all the binding files.

ALSA SoC needs to know connected DAI ID for probing. Using
the new audio-card-graph approach, ports/endpoints are used
to describe how the links are connected. Unfortunately, since
ports/endpoints are used as well for video linkages, there
are some issues mixing the port ids to the two (video and
audio) namespaces.
To solve this issue, this patch adds new .get_dai_id callback
on hdmi_codec_ops.
The will assume that HDMI audio out will be connected to
reg = <2>. This will then be remapped to the ALSA SoC side will
as DAI 0. Allowing the adv7511's hdmi audio support to be used
with the audio-card-graph.

Add very basic ti-tfp410 DVI transmitter driver. The only feature
separating this from a completely dummy bridge is the EDID read
support trough DDC I2C. Even that functionality should be in a
separate generic connector driver. However, because of missing DRM
infrastructure support the connector is implemented within the bridge
driver. Some tfp410 HW specific features may be added later if needed,
because there is a set of registers behind i2c if it is connected.
This implementation is tested against my new tilcdc bridge support
and it works with BeagleBone DVI-D Cape Rev A3. A DT binding document

Extended Read Mode" to read data addressed by non-zero segment
pointer, this means that if EDID has more than 1 extension blocks,
EDID reading operation won't succeed, in my practice all tested HDMI
monitors have at maximum one extension block.

Register ASoC HDMI codec for audio functionality and adds device tree
binding for audio configuration.
With the registered HDMI codec the tda998x node can be used like a
regular codec node in ASoC card configurations. HDMI audio info-frame
and audio stream header is generated by the ASoC HDMI codec. The codec
also applies constraints for available sample-rates based on Edid Like
Data from the display. The device tree binding document has been
updated [1].
Part of this patch has been inspired by Jean Francoise's "drm/i2c: tda998x:
Add support of a DT graph of ports"-patch [2]. There may still be some
identical lines left from the original patch and some of the ideas
have come from there.

This is an update to the previous drm bridge pull request. The ADV7511
driver's conversion from slave encoder to bridge meant that its users
(the rcar-du kms driver) should use the bridge interface too. This pull
request now also contains a commit that updates the rcar-du's hdmi encoder
interface from slave encoder to bridge.
The other updates are as before:
- Converts the ADV7511 i2c slave encoder driver to a bridge driver.
Adds support for the ADV7533 bridge chip.
- Add bridge driver for TC358767 (DSI/DPI to eDP) encoder chips.

Some edp screen do not have hpd signal, so we can't just return
failed when hpd plug in detect failed.
This is an hardware property, so we need add a devicetree property
"analogix,need-force-hpd" to indicate this sutiation.

Analogix dp driver is split from exynos dp driver, so we just
make an copy of exynos_dp.txt, and then simplify exynos_dp.txt
Beside update some exynos dtsi file with the latest change
according to the devicetree binding documents.

This is a quite large renaming to consolidate display related bindings
into a single "display" directory from various scattered locations of
video, drm, gpu, fb, mipi, and panel. The prior location was somewhat
based on the Linux driver location, but bindings should be independent
of that.
